1 In You, O Jehovah, I put my trust; let me never be put to shame.
1 Ó Senhor Deus, tu és a minha segurança; nunca deixes que eu sofra a vergonha da derrota.
2 Rescue me in Your righteousness, and cause me to escape; extend Your ear to me, and save me.
2 Ajuda-me e livra-me, pois tu és justo; ouve-me e salva-me.
3 Be a rock of refuge for me, to which I may continually go; You have given command to save me, for You are my Rock and my Fortress.
3 Ó Deus, sê a minha rocha de abrigo e uma fortaleza para me proteger! Tu és a minha rocha e a minha fortaleza.
4 Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
4 Ó meu Deus, livra-me dos maus, livra-me do poder dos homens perversos e violentos!
5 For You are my hope, O Lord Jehovah, my trust from my youth.
5 Ó Senhor , meu Deus, em ti ponho a minha esperança; desde jovem tenho confiado em ti.
6 Upon You I have been supported from the womb; You are He who took me out of my mothers belly; my praise shall continually be of You.
6 Toda a minha vida tenho me apoiado em ti; desde o meu nascimento tu tens me protegido. Eu sempre te louvarei.
7 I am like a wonder to many, but You are my strong refuge.
7 A minha vida tem sido um exemplo para muitos porque tu tens sido o meu forte defensor.
8 Let my mouth be filled with Your praise, with Your glory all the day.
8 O dia inteiro, eu te louvo e anuncio a tua
9 Do not cast me off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength fails.
9 Não me rejeites agora que sou velho; não me abandones agora que estou fraco.
10 For my enemies speak against me; and those who lie in wait for my soul take counsel together,
10 Os meus inimigos querem me matar; eles falam contra mim e planejam a minha morte.
11 saying, God has forsaken him; pursue and take him, for there is no one to rescue him.
11 Eles dizem: “Deus o abandonou; vamos persegui-lo e agarrá-lo, pois ninguém o salvará.”
12 O God, be not far from me; O my God, make haste to help me!
12 Ó Deus, não fiques longe de mim! Ajuda-me agora, meu Deus!
13 Let them be ashamed; let those who are enemies of my soul be consumed; let them be covered with reproach and dishonor, who seek my hurt.
13 Que sejam derrotados e destruídos aqueles que me atacam! Que fiquem arruinados e envergonhados os que querem a minha desgraça!
14 But I will hope continually, and I have praised You again and again.
14 Eu sempre porei a minha esperança em ti e te louvarei mais e mais.
15 My mouth shall recount Your righteousness and Your salvation all the day; for I do not know their number.
15 Anunciarei que tu és fiel; o dia inteiro falarei da tua salvação, embora não seja capaz de entendê-la.
16 I will go in the strength of the Lord Jehovah; I will keep in remembrance Your righteousness; Yours alone.
16 Falarei do teu poder, ó anunciarei a tua fidelidade, a tua fidelidade somente.
17 O God, You have taught me from my youth; and to this day I have declared Your marvelous works.
17 Tu tens me ensinado desde a minha mocidade, e eu continuo a falar das coisas maravilhosas que fazes.
18 And now when I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not leave me, until I have declared Your strength to this generation, and Your power to everyone who is to come.
18 Agora que estou velho, e os meus cabelos ficaram brancos, não me abandones, ó Deus! Fica comigo enquanto anuncio o teu poder e a tua força a este povo e aos seus descendentes.
19 Your righteousness also, O God, is very high, You who have done great things. O God, who is like You,
19 A tua fidelidade, ó Deus, chega até o céu. Tu tens feito grandes coisas, e não há ninguém igual a ti.
20 who has shown me great and evil distresses. You will revive me again, and bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
20 Tu me tens feito passar por aflições e sofrimentos, mas me darás forças novamente e me livrarás da sepultura.
21 You will increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.
21 Tu me tornarás cada vez mais famoso e sempre me consolarás.
22 I will also give thanks unto You with the lute, O my God, for Your faithfulness. To You I will make music with the harp, O Holy One of Israel.
22 Prometo que te louvarei com harpa . Ó meu Deus, eu te louvarei porque és fiel. Na minha ó Santo Deus de Israel.
23 My lips shall greatly rejoice when I make music unto You, and my soul, which You have redeemed.
23 Cantarei de alegria quando tocar hinos a ti, cantarei com todas as minhas forças porque tu me salvaste.
24 My tongue also shall meditate on Your righteousness all day long; for those who seek evil upon me are abashed; they are brought to shame.
24 O dia inteiro falarei da tua justiça, pois os que me queriam prejudicar foram derrotados e arruinados.
