1 A Song, a Psalm of the sons of Korah; for the Chief Musician; set to Mahalath Leannoth. Maschil of Heman the Ezrahite. O Yahweh, the God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before you.
1 SENHOR Deus da minha salvação, diante de ti tenho clamado de dia e de noite.
2 Let my prayer enter into your presence; Incline your ear to my cry.
2 Chegue a minha oração perante a tua face, inclina os teus ouvidos ao meu clamor;
3 For my soul is full of troubles, And my life draws near to Sheol.
3 Porque a minha alma está cheia de angústia, e a minha vida se aproxima da sepultura.
4 I am reckoned with those who go down into the pit; I am as an [able-bodied] man without strength,
4 Estou contado com aqueles que descem ao abismo; estou como homem sem forças,
5 Cast off among the dead, Like the slain that lie in the grave, Whom you remember no more, And they are cut off from your hand.
5 Livre entre os mortos, como os feridos de morte que jazem na sepultura, dos quais te não lembras mais, e estão cortados da tua mão.
6 You have laid me in the lowest pit, In dark places, in the deeps.
6 Puseste-me no abismo mais profundo, em trevas e nas profundezas.
7 Your wrath lies hard on me, And you have afflicted me with all your waves. Selah.
7 Sobre mim pesa o teu furor; tu me afligiste com todas as tuas ondas. (Selá.)
8 You have put my acquaintances far from me; You have made me disgusting to them: I am shut up, and I can't come forth.
8 Alongaste de mim os meus conhecidos, puseste-me em extrema abominação para com eles. Estou fechado, e não posso sair.
9 My eye wastes away by reason of affliction: I have called daily on you, O Yahweh; I have spread forth my hands to you.
9 A minha vista desmaia por causa da aflição. Senhor, tenho clamado a ti todo o dia, tenho estendido para ti as minhas mãos.
10 Will you show wonders to the dead? Will the spirits of the dead arise and praise you? Selah.
10 Mostrarás, tu, maravilhas aos mortos, ou os mortos se levantarão e te louvarão? (Selá.)
11 Will your loving-kindness be declared in the grave? Or your faithfulness in Destruction?
11 Será anunciada a tua benignidade na sepultura, ou a tua fidelidade na perdição?
12 Will your wonders be known in the dark? And your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
12 Saber-se-ão as tuas maravilhas nas trevas, e a tua justiça na terra do esquecimento?
13 But to you, O Yahweh, I have cried; And in the morning my prayer will come before you.
13 Eu, porém, Senhor, tenho clamado a ti, e de madrugada te esperará a minha oração.
14 Yahweh, why do you cast off my soul? Why do you hide your face from me?
14 Senhor, porque rejeitas a minha alma? Por que escondes de mim a tua face?
15 I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up: While I suffer your terrors I am distracted.
15 Estou aflito, e prestes tenho estado a morrer desde a minha mocidade; enquanto sofro os teus terrores, estou perturbado.
16 Your fierce wrath has gone over me; Your terrors have cut me off.
16 A tua ardente indignação sobre mim vai passando; os teus terrores me têm retalhado.
17 They came round about me like water all the day long; They surrounded me together.
17 Eles me rodeiam todo o dia como água; eles juntos me sitiam.
18 Lover and companion you have put far from me, My acquaintances into darkness.
18 Desviaste para longe de mim amigos e companheiros, e os meus conhecidos estão em trevas.
