1 For the Chief Musician; A Psalm of David, a song. Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered; And let those who hate him flee before him.
1 Levante-se Deus, e sejam dissipados os seus inimigos; fugirão de diante dele os que o odeiam.
2 As smoke is driven away, you will drive them away: As wax melts before the fire, So let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
2 Como se impele a fumaça, assim tu os impeles; assim como a cera se derrete diante do fogo, assim pereçam os ímpios diante de Deus.
3 But let the righteous be glad; let them exult before God: Yes, let them rejoice with gladness.
3 Mas alegrem-se os justos, e se regozijem na presença de Deus, e folguem de alegria.
4 Sing to God, sing praises to his name: Cast up a highway for him who rides through the deserts; His name is Yah; and exult{+} before him.
4 Cantai a Deus, cantai louvores ao seu nome; louvai aquele que vai montado sobre os céus, pois o seu nome é Senhor, e exultai diante dele.
5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, Is God in his holy habitation.
5 Pai de órfãos e juiz de viúvas é Deus, no seu lugar santo.
6 God sets the solitary in families: He brings out the prisoners into prosperity; But the rebellious stay in a parched land.
6 Deus faz que o solitário viva em família; liberta aqueles que estão presos em grilhões; mas os rebeldes habitam em terra seca.
7 O God, when you went forth before your people, When you marched through the wilderness; Selah.
7 Ó Deus, quando saías diante do teu povo, quando caminhavas pelo deserto, (Selá.).
8 The earth trembled, The heavens also dropped [rain] at the presence of God: This Sinai [trembled] at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
8 A terra abalava-se, e os céus destilavam perante a face de Deus; até o próprio Sinai foi comovido na presença de Deus, do Deus de Israel.
9 You, O God, sent a plentiful rain, You confirmed your inheritance, when it was weary.
9 Tu, ó Deus, mandaste a chuva em abundância, confortaste a tua herança, quando estava cansada.
10 Your congregation dwelt in it: You, O God, prepared of your goodness for the poor.
10 Nela habitava o teu rebanho; tu, ó Deus, fizeste provisão da tua bondade para o pobre.
11 The Lord gives the word: The women who publish the good news are a great host.
11 O Senhor deu a palavra; grande era o exército dos que anunciavam as boas novas.
12 Kings of armies flee, they flee; And she who tarries at home divides the spoil.
12 Reis de exércitos fugiram à pressa; e aquela que ficava em casa repartia os despojos.
13 When you{+} lie among the sheepfolds, [It is as] the wings of a dove covered with silver, And her pinions with yellow gold.
13 Ainda que vos tenhais deitado entre redis, contudo sereis como as asas duma pomba, cobertas de prata, e as suas penas, de ouro amarelo.
14 When the Almighty scattered kings there, [It was as when] it snows in Zalmon.
14 Quando o Onipotente ali espalhou os reis, foi como a neve em Salmon.
15 A mountain of God is the mountain of Bashan; A high mountain is the mountain of Bashan.
15 O monte de Deus é como o monte de Basã, um monte elevado como o monte de Basã.
16 Why do you{+} look askance, you{+} high mountains, At the mountain which God has desired for his dwelling place? Yes, Yahweh will stay [in it] forever.
16 Por que saltais, ó montes elevados? Este é o monte que Deus desejou para a sua habitação, e o Senhor habitará nele eternamente.
17 The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands on thousands; The Lord is among them, [as in] Sinai, in the sanctuary.
17 Os carros de Deus são vinte milhares, milhares de milhares. O Senhor está entre eles, como em Sinai, no lugar santo.
18 You have ascended on high, you have led away captives; You have received gifts among man, Yes, [among] the rebellious also, that Yah God might stay [with them].
18 Tu subiste ao alto, levaste cativo o cativeiro, recebeste dons para os homens, e até para os rebeldes, para que o Senhor Deus habitasse entre eles.
19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, Even the God who is our salvation. Selah.
19 Bendito seja o Senhor, que de dia em dia nos carrega de benefícios; o Deus que é a nossa salvação. (Selá.).
20 God is to us a God of deliverances; And to Yahweh the Lord belongs escape from death.
20 O nosso Deus é o Deus da salvação; e a DEUS, o Senhor, pertencem os livramentos da morte.
21 But God will strike through the head of his enemies, The hairy top of the head of such a one as goes on still in his guiltiness.
21 Mas Deus ferirá gravemente a cabeça de seus inimigos e o crânio cabeludo do que anda em suas culpas.
22 The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring [them] again from the depths of the sea;
22 Disse o Senhor: Eu os farei voltar de Basã, farei voltar o meu povo das profundezas do mar;
23 That you may crush [them], [dipping] your foot in blood, That the tongue of your dogs may have its portion from [your] enemies.
23 Para que o teu pé mergulhe no sangue de teus inimigos, e no mesmo a língua dos teus cães.
24 They have seen your goings, O God, Even the goings of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.
24 Ó Deus, eles têm visto os teus caminhos; os caminhos do meu Deus, meu Rei, no santuário.
25 The singers went before, the minstrels followed after, In the midst of the young women playing with timbrels.
25 Os cantores iam adiante, os tocadores de instrumentos atrás; entre eles as donzelas tocando adufes.
26 Bless{+} God in the congregations, Even the Lord, [you{+} who are] of the fountain of Israel.
26 Celebrai a Deus nas congregações; ao Senhor, desde a fonte de Israel.
27 There is little Benjamin their ruler, The princes of Judah [and] their council, The princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.
27 Ali está o pequeno Benjamim, que domina sobre eles, os príncipes de Judá com o seu ajuntamento, os príncipes de Zebulom e os príncipes de Naftali.
28 Your God has commanded your strength: Strengthen, O God, that which you have wrought for us.
28 O teu Deus ordenou a tua força; fortalece, ó Deus, o que já fizeste para nós.
29 Because of your temple at Jerusalem Kings will bring presents to you.
29 Por amor do teu templo em Jerusalém, os reis te trarão presentes.
30 Rebuke the wild beast of the reeds, The multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the peoples, Trampling under foot the pieces of silver: He has scattered the peoples who delight in war.
30 Repreende asperamente as feras dos canaviais, a multidão dos touros, com os novilhos dos povos, até que cada um se submeta com peças de prata; dissipa os povos que desejam a guerra.
31 Bronze will come out of Egypt; Ethiopia will bring her hands [with tribute] in a hurry to God.
31 Príncipes virão do Egito; a Etiópia cedo estenderá para Deus as suas mãos.
32 Sing to God, you{+} kingdoms of the earth; Oh sing praises to the Lord; Selah.
32 Reinos da terra, cantai a Deus, cantai louvores ao Senhor. (Selá.)
33 To him who rides on the heaven of heavens, which are of old; Look, he utters his voice, a mighty voice.
33 Àquele que vai montado sobre os céus dos céus, que existiam desde a antiguidade; eis que envia a sua voz, dá um brado veemente.
34 Ascribe{+} strength to God: His excellency is over Israel, And his strength is in the skies.
34 Atribuí a Deus fortaleza; a sua excelência está sobre Israel e a sua fortaleza nas mais altas nuvens.
35 O God, [you are] awesome out of your holy places: The God of Israel, he gives strength and power to [his] people. Blessed be God.
35 Ó Deus, tu és tremendo desde os teus santuários; o Deus de Israel é o que dá força e poder ao seu povo. Bendito seja Deus!
