Yaa Kanya Ninii Fɔle Sɛlɛɛ (SNW) vs VC
1 Nkpo oso bidiɛ sikpile simuu ɔbla. Biediɛ sɛlaa kuafũnu, anu anu sɛsaabla, onumbɛbɛɛ ku batii ayooto ɔkpɔnɔnfɔsa.
1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Fɛ mmle okle di babifɔɔle mmiɛ ni nnyɛɛ ntu yi, bita Yaa ɔlaa nwu mananlɔ ni lɛsalɛsaa kuklee ye ɔkɔnsɔ osie kanya. Alɛ biamuɔ diidiki lee kamɛ.
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 Diekye aye bamu bitoowolaa kamɛ bietofo mmle okle di Saate sifutulɛ nlɛ nii.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Diekye Kɔkpana Klekle Kukũ lebuɛ alɛ,
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Difuɔ le mmle lefũ kɔya osie kanya diɛta aye ba niefũ nwɔ bienu nii. Kafɔɔ mba ninanfũ nwɔ banu nii, dile,
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Kɔkpana Klekle Kukũ lɛba bamba lekple diebuɛ alɛ,
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Di obe wɔ nintabafe ni, bitale Yaa batii, kafɔɔ nunua bitɔbakple nwɔ bale. Di obe wɔ nintabafe nii, Yaa ditanya ye nyaami, kafɔɔ nunua, atɔɔnya ye nyaami.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Babiloo bɔmbɔtɛ, ote bite fɛ bafɔɔ ku osuku bakyɛntɛ kaasɔ ka mmle suoto. Nioso kotikite ye lekoto nlɛ, biatoso suoto sina akɔnsɔkleesaa kpile ya nikɔkpɛko ye ni obe lele.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Bisiɛ nkpa biene di batii ba ninanfũ banu ni kamɛ ka bisi ni, alɛ nse bia bɛɛkakatɛ di suoto lee alɛ bakpileblatɛ bile yi, sɛmaa, baanya ɔkpɛ biene wɔ biɛbla nii, alɛ baatansa Yaa di Lɛkankoyi nwu nkpo suoto.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Ta Saate nwu nkpo oso yi, biwakosa suoto kasɔ bita kale batunletɛ bamuu ku Ɔka Kplɛ wɔ di osie nsi di nnɛɛ kamɛ dilenke ni.
13 — ausente —
14 Biwakosa suoto kasɔ kafɔɔ laakpanwu bita abaa banɔɔfotii ba di Ɔka Kplɛ nkpee alɛ baananfi ni asaa kpile bablatɛ kootoko, antansa ni batii ba kafɔɔ nimbla ni asaa di osuku kanya.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Diekye Yaa komiɛ alɛ dibiene lee ɔbla kata alɛ, babuutɛ ba ninanye ni lɛsalɛsaa dilaawɛ ɔlaa kuonwii babuɛ di suoto lee.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Bisiɛ nkpa fɛ batii ba ninsiko ni suoto. Kafɔɔ bitanta suoto osiɛko lee nwu nkpo lata ye osuku biabla okpile. Kafɔɔ bisiɛ nkpa fɛ Yaa bakpɛmblatɛ.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Bibu batii bamuu. Biɛbɔmbɔ bafũbanutɛ wo lee bamuu. Biɛyɛkɛ Yaa. Biebu kafɔɔ Ɔka Kplɛ.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Aye bakpɛmblatɛ, biwakosa suoto kasɔ bita basaate lee, biebu ma kafɔɔ nwaa. Diele basaate ba ninnya ye ni nyaami, mambɔmbɔ ye ni lete biabu, kafɔɔ ku mba nimbla ye ni asi osie.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Diekye nse otii owo lekpee otu eefe diibuo le ninankaatɛ ni baatii nnɛɛ kamɛ ta Yaa oso yi, Yaa mawii nwɔ lɛyɔɔ.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Kafɔɔ nse bɛɛnanfi fɔ kootoko di okpile wɔ fɛɛbla ni suoto, feekpe otu feefe kaamɛ, kamɛntansa ninsi kaamɛ? Kafɔɔ nse feekpee otu diebuo fɔ di lɛsaa biene ɔbla kamɛ yi, Yaa kamawii fɔ lɛyɔɔ.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Nle mmle oso di Yaa lɛlɛɛ ye nɛ. Diekye Kristo omu lafe diibuo kamɛ aakpi diisi lee aadiɛ ɔtɛ onyu aatɛ ye alɛ biakyɛ di nnafukpaa nɔɔ suoto.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 “Diidii atabla okpile kuonwii,
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Batii latufa nwɔ, kafɔɔ, atatufa aakyisa. Obe wɔ baatootuo nwɔ ni dibuo, atafunaa kuonwii. Kafɔɔ aayɔ lɛsaa biala aata Yaa wɔ ninka, andiki ni lɛbɛ ku lɛpɔɔ.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Kristo omu niafũ wo sikpile aatika di suoto, aasifiko kowoso suoto, aalaakpi. Aabla nle mmle alɛ buadie di sikpile kamɛ munsiɛ nkpa be ninte ni tinini diobuo ni Yaa anu. Ninnkɔ nɔɔ nwu nkpo kamɛ kafɔɔ di Yaa lata ye lɛfabla.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Saa yi, biasiɛ nkpa fɛ bafoso ba niayu ni osuku. Kafɔɔ nunua yi, Yaa ntookplesa ye ɛɛwako otii wɔ ninle ni batii kpatɛ ku batii nyuntɛ nfũ.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
