1 I will exalt you, O Yahweh, because you have drawn me up, and have not made my enemies rejoice over me.
1 Eu te exaltarei, S enhor , pois me livraste; não permitiste que meus inimigos rissem de mim.
2 O Yahweh, my God, I cried for help to you, and you healed me.
2 S enhor , meu Deus, clamei a ti por socorro, e restauraste minha saúde.
3 O Yahweh, you have brought my life up from Sheol. You preserved me alive from among those going down to the pit.
3 S enhor , da sepultura me tiraste e não me deixaste cair na cova da morte.
4 Sing praises to Yahweh, you his faithful ones, and give thanks ⌞to his holy fame⌟.
4 Cantem ao S enhor , todos que lhe são fiéis! Louvem seu santo nome,
5 For there is a moment in his anger; there is a lifetime in his favor. Weeping lodges for the evening, but in the morning comes rejoicing.
5 pois sua ira dura apenas um instante, mas seu favor, a vida inteira! O choro pode durar toda a noite, mas a alegria vem com o amanhecer.
6 But as for me, I had said in my prosperity, “I shall not be moved ever.”
6 Quando eu era próspero, dizia: “Agora, nada pode me derrubar!”.
7 O Yahweh, by your favor you caused my strong mountain to stand. You hid your face. I was bewildered.
7 Ó S enhor , teu favor me mantinha firme como uma montanha; então o S
8 To you, O Yahweh, I called, and to the Lord I pleaded for grace saying,
8 Clamei a ti, S enhor , supliquei ao Senhor por misericórdia:
9 “What gain is there in my ⌞death⌟, in my going down into the pit? Will the dust praise you? Will it tell of your faithfulness?
9 “Que vantagem terás se eu morrer, se eu descer à cova? Acaso o pó te louvará? Falará de tua fidelidade?
10 “O Yahweh, hear and be gracious to me. O Yahweh, be my helper.”
10 Ouve-me, S enhor , e tem misericórdia de mim; ajuda-me, S
11 You have turned my wailing into my dancing. You have removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy
11 Transformaste meu pranto em dança; tiraste minhas roupas de luto e me vestiste de alegria,
12 so that ⌞I⌟ may sing praises to you and not be quiet. O Yahweh, my God, I will give thanks to you forever.
12 para que eu cante louvores a ti e não me cale. S
