1 When Yahweh restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like dreamers.
1 Quando o SENHOR trouxe do cativeiro os que voltaram a Sião, estávamos como os que sonham.
2 Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with rejoicing. Then they said among the nations, “Yahweh has done great things for these people.”
2 Então a nossa boca se encheu de riso e a nossa língua de cântico; então se dizia entre os gentios: Grandes coisas fez o Senhor a estes.
3 Yahweh has done great things for us; we are glad.
3 Grandes coisas fez o Senhor por nós, pelas quais estamos alegres.
4 Restore, O Yahweh, our fortunes like the streams in the Negeb.
4 Traze-nos outra vez, ó Senhor, do cativeiro, como as correntes das águas no sul.
5 Those who sow with tears shall reap with rejoicing.
5 Os que semeiam em lágrimas segarão com alegria.
6 He who diligently goes out with weeping, carrying the seed bag, shall certainly come in with rejoicing, carrying his sheaves.
6 Aquele que leva a preciosa semente, andando e chorando, voltará, sem dúvida, com alegria, trazendo consigo os seus molhos.
