1 Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
1 O S enhor disse a Moisés:
2 “Command the ⌞Israelites⌟ that they should bring pure olive oil from beaten olives for the light to ⌞present⌟ a lamp continually.
2 “Ordene aos israelitas que tragam óleo puro de azeitonas prensadas para a iluminação do candelabro, a fim de manter as lâmpadas sempre acesas.
3 Aaron shall arrange for it ⌞outside⌟ the curtain of the testimony in the tent of assembly from evening until morning ⌞before⌟ Yahweh continually; it shall be a ⌞lasting statute⌟ throughout your generations.
3 É o candelabro que fica na tenda do encontro, em frente à cortina interna que protege a arca da aliança. Arão manterá as lâmpadas acesas na presença do S enhor a noite toda. Essa é uma lei permanente para vocês e deve ser cumprida de geração em geração.
4 On the pure golden lampstand he shall arrange for the lamps ⌞before⌟ Yahweh continually.
4 Arão e os sacerdotes manterão sempre em ordem, na presença do S enhor , as lâmpadas do candelabro de ouro puro.
5 “And you shall take finely milled flour, and you shall bake with it twelve ring-shaped bread cakes: each one shall be two-tenths of an ephah.
5 “Asse doze pães de farinha da melhor qualidade usando quatro litros de farinha para cada pão.
6 And you shall place them in two rows, six to the row, on the pure gold table ⌞before⌟ Yahweh.
6 Coloque os pães diante do S enhor sobre a mesa de ouro puro e arrume-os em duas fileiras, com seis pães em cada fileira.
7 And you shall put pure frankincense on each row so that it shall be for the bread as a memorial offering, an offering made by fire for Yahweh.
7 Coloque um pouco de incenso sobre cada fileira como oferta memorial, uma oferta especial apresentada ao S enhor .
8 ⌞On every Sabbath⌟ he shall arrange it in rows ⌞before⌟ Yahweh continually; they are from the ⌞Israelites⌟ as an everlasting covenant.
8 A cada sábado, coloque regularmente diante do S enhor esses pães como oferta da parte dos israelitas; é uma expressão contínua da aliança sem fim.
9 And it shall be for Aaron and for his sons, and they shall eat it in a holy place, because it is ⌞a most holy thing⌟ for him from Yahweh’s offerings made by fire—a ⌞lasting rule⌟.”
9 Os pães pertencerão a Arão e seus descendentes, que os comerão num lugar sagrado, pois são santíssimos. Os sacerdotes terão direito permanente a essa porção das ofertas especiais apresentadas ao S enhor ”. A pena para quem blasfemar
10 And an Israelite woman’s son, and he was an Egyptian man’s son, went out in the midst of the ⌞Israelites⌟; and the Israelite woman’s son and an Israelite man fought in the camp.
10 Certo dia, um homem, filho de uma israelita e de um egípcio, saiu de sua tenda e se envolveu numa briga com um dos israelitas.
11 Then the Israelite woman’s son blasphemed the name, and he cursed, so they brought him to Moses—and the name of his mother was Shelomith the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.
11 Durante a briga, o filho da israelita blasfemou o Nome com uma maldição. Por isso, foi levado a Moisés para ser julgado. A mãe dele se chamava Selomite, filha de Dibri, da tribo de Dã.
12 Then they put him in custody ⌞so that⌟ the matter might be made clear to them in accordance with the mouth of Yahweh.
12 O homem foi mantido preso até ficar clara a vontade do S enhor a respeito de sua situação.
13 Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
13 Então o S enhor disse a Moisés:
14 “Bring the curser ⌞outside the camp⌟, and all the hearers shall place their hands on his head, and the whole community shall stone him.
14 “Leve o blasfemador para fora do acampamento e diga a todos que ouviram a maldição que coloquem as mãos sobre a cabeça dele. Depois, a comunidade toda o executará por apedrejamento.
15 And you shall speak to the ⌞Israelites⌟, saying, ‘⌞Any man⌟ when he curses his God shall bear his sin.
15 Diga ao povo de Israel: Quem amaldiçoar o seu Deus será castigado por causa do seu pecado.
16 And he who blasphemes Yahweh’s name certainly shall be put to death; the whole community certainly shall stone him. As the alien, so the native shall be put to death at blaspheming his name.
16 Quem blasfemar o nome do S enhor será morto por apedrejamento por toda a comunidade de Israel. Qualquer israelita de nascimento ou estrangeiro entre vocês que blasfemar o Nome será morto.
17 “ ‘And when a man kills any human being, he certainly shall be put to death.
17 “Quem tirar a vida de outra pessoa será morto.
18 And ⌞he who kills⌟ a domestic animal must repay for it life in place of life.
18 “Quem matar um animal pertencente a outra pessoa a indenizará com um animal vivo.
19 And when a man ⌞causes⌟ a physical defect in his fellow citizen ⌞according to⌟ what he has done, so it shall be done to him:
19 “Quem ferir outra pessoa será tratado de acordo com o ferimento que causou:
20 fracture in place of fracture, eye in place of eye, tooth in place of tooth—⌞according to⌟ the physical defect he ⌞causes⌟ to the person, likewise it shall be ⌞caused⌟ to him.
20 fratura por fratura, olho por olho, dente por dente. O dano que alguém fizer a outra pessoa, será feito a ele.
21 And a killer of a domestic animal must repay for it, and a killer of a human shall be put to death.
21 “Quem matar um animal indenizará seu dono totalmente, mas quem matar uma pessoa será morto.
22 ⌞You must have⌟ one norm; as for the alien, so it must be for the native, because I am Yahweh your God.’ ”
22 “A mesma lei se aplica tanto aos israelitas de nascimento como aos estrangeiros que vivem entre vocês. Eu sou o S enhor , seu Deus”.
23 Thus Moses spoke to the ⌞Israelites⌟, and they brought the curser ⌞outside the camp⌟, and they stoned him with stones, and the ⌞Israelites⌟ did just as Yahweh had commanded Moses.
23 Depois que Moisés transmitiu todas essas instruções aos israelitas, eles levaram o blasfemador para fora do acampamento e o executaram por apedrejamento. Os israelitas fizeram exatamente conforme o S enhor havia ordenado a Moisés.
