1 Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
1 O Senhor Deus disse a Moisés o seguinte:
2 “Command the ⌞Israelites⌟ that they should bring pure olive oil from beaten olives for the light to ⌞present⌟ a lamp continually.
2 — Diga aos israelitas que lhe tragam o melhor azeite, para manter sempre aceso o candelabro que está na Tenda Sagrada .
3 Aaron shall arrange for it ⌞outside⌟ the curtain of the testimony in the tent of assembly from evening until morning ⌞before⌟ Yahweh continually; it shall be a ⌞lasting statute⌟ throughout your generations.
3 Todas as tardes Arão acenderá o candelabro e o manterá aceso a noite toda, ali na presença de Deus, o Senhor , do lado de fora da cortina que fica em frente da arca da aliança . Essa lei deverá ser obedecida por vocês e pelos seus descendentes para sempre.
4 On the pure golden lampstand he shall arrange for the lamps ⌞before⌟ Yahweh continually.
4 Arão cuidará dos pavios das lamparinas do candelabro de ouro puro, para que fiquem sempre acesas na presença do Senhor .
5 “And you shall take finely milled flour, and you shall bake with it twelve ring-shaped bread cakes: each one shall be two-tenths of an ephah.
5 Doze pães, cada um pesando dois quilos, deverão ser feitos da melhor farinha
6 And you shall place them in two rows, six to the row, on the pure gold table ⌞before⌟ Yahweh.
6 e postos na mesa de ouro puro que fica na presença de Deus, o Senhor . Os pães deverão ser arrumados em duas pilhas, seis pães em cada pilha.
7 And you shall put pure frankincense on each row so that it shall be for the bread as a memorial offering, an offering made by fire for Yahweh.
7 Em cima das duas pilhas será colocado incenso puro para lembrar que todos os pães são oferecidos ao Senhor como oferta de alimento.
8 ⌞On every Sabbath⌟ he shall arrange it in rows ⌞before⌟ Yahweh continually; they are from the ⌞Israelites⌟ as an everlasting covenant.
8 Todos os sábados, para sempre, o Grande Sacerdote colocará os pães em ordem na mesa, na presença de Deus, o Senhor . Esses pães representam a aliança eterna dos israelitas com o Senhor
9 And it shall be for Aaron and for his sons, and they shall eat it in a holy place, because it is ⌞a most holy thing⌟ for him from Yahweh’s offerings made by fire—a ⌞lasting rule⌟.”
9 e pertencerão para sempre aos sacerdotes, que são descendentes de Arão. Os pães são muito sagrados, pois são uma oferta de alimento dada ao Senhor ; por isso os sacerdotes os comerão num lugar sagrado.
10 And an Israelite woman’s son, and he was an Egyptian man’s son, went out in the midst of the ⌞Israelites⌟; and the Israelite woman’s son and an Israelite man fought in the camp.

11 Then the Israelite woman’s son blasphemed the name, and he cursed, so they brought him to Moses—and the name of his mother was Shelomith the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

12 Then they put him in custody ⌞so that⌟ the matter might be made clear to them in accordance with the mouth of Yahweh.
12 e o deixaram preso até que o Senhor dissesse o que deviam fazer.
13 Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
13 O Senhor Deus disse a Moisés:
14 “Bring the curser ⌞outside the camp⌟, and all the hearers shall place their hands on his head, and the whole community shall stone him.
14 — Leve esse homem para fora do acampamento. As pessoas que o ouviram blasfemar contra mim colocarão as mãos na cabeça dele, e depois o povo todo o matará a pedradas.
15 And you shall speak to the ⌞Israelites⌟, saying, ‘⌞Any man⌟ when he curses his God shall bear his sin.
15 E diga ao povo: “Quem amaldiçoar o seu Deus pagará por esse pecado
16 And he who blasphemes Yahweh’s name certainly shall be put to death; the whole community certainly shall stone him. As the alien, so the native shall be put to death at blaspheming his name.
16 e será morto a pedradas por todo o povo. Não importa que seja israelita ou um estrangeiro que mora no meio de vocês; quem blasfemar contra o nome do Senhor Deus será morto.
17 “ ‘And when a man kills any human being, he certainly shall be put to death.
17 — “Aquele que matar uma pessoa será morto.
18 And ⌞he who kills⌟ a domestic animal must repay for it life in place of life.
18 Quem matar um animal doméstico de outra pessoa dará ao dono outro animal do mesmo valor, um animal pelo outro.
19 And when a man ⌞causes⌟ a physical defect in his fellow citizen ⌞according to⌟ what he has done, so it shall be done to him:
19 Se alguém ferir outra pessoa, farão com ele a mesma coisa que ele fez:
20 fracture in place of fracture, eye in place of eye, tooth in place of tooth—⌞according to⌟ the physical defect he ⌞causes⌟ to the person, likewise it shall be ⌞caused⌟ to him.
20 quebradura por quebradura, olho por olho, dente por dente. Ele será ferido do mesmo jeito que feriu o outro.
21 And a killer of a domestic animal must repay for it, and a killer of a human shall be put to death.
21 Quem matar um animal doméstico de outra pessoa dará ao dono outro animal. Quem matar uma pessoa será morto.
22 ⌞You must have⌟ one norm; as for the alien, so it must be for the native, because I am Yahweh your God.’ ”
22 A lei é a mesma para os estrangeiros que moram no meio de vocês e para os israelitas. Eu sou o Senhor , o Deus de vocês.”
23 Thus Moses spoke to the ⌞Israelites⌟, and they brought the curser ⌞outside the camp⌟, and they stoned him with stones, and the ⌞Israelites⌟ did just as Yahweh had commanded Moses.
23 Então Moisés disse tudo isso aos israelitas. Aí eles pegaram o homem que havia amaldiçoado o nome de Deus e o levaram para fora do acampamento. E ali o mataram a pedradas. Assim, eles fizeram aquilo que o Senhor havia ordenado a Moisés.
