Efésios 6
Revised Young's Literal Translation NT (RYLT) vs BKJ
1 The children! obey your parents in the Lord, for this is righteous;
1 Filhos, obedecei a vossos pais no Senhor, porque isto é justo.
2 honour your father and mother,
2 Honra a teu pai e a tua mãe, (que é o primeiro mandamento com promessa),
3 which is the first command with a promise, 'That it may be well with you, and you may live a long time upon the land.'
3 para que te vá bem, e vivas muito tempo sobre a terra.
4 And the fathers! provoke not your children, but nourish them in the instruction and admonition
4 E vós, pais, não provoqueis a ira a vossos filhos, mas criai-os na disciplina e admoestação do Senhor.
5 The servants! obey the masters according to the flesh with fear and trembling, in the simplicity of your heart, as to the Christ;
5 Servos, obedecei àqueles que são os vossos senhores segundo a carne, com temor e tremor, na sinceridade de vosso coração, como a Cristo;
6 not with eye-service as men-pleasers
6 não servindo à vista, como para agradar aos homens, mas como servos de Cristo, fazendo a vontade de Deus de coração;
7 with good-will serving, as to the Lord, and not to men
7 servindo de boa vontade como ao Senhor e não como aos homens;
8 having known that whatever good thing each one may do, this he shall receive from the Lord, whether servant or freeman
8 sabendo que toda a boa coisa que cada um fizer, o mesmo ele receberá do Senhor, seja ele servo, seja livre.
9 And the masters! the same things do you unto them, letting threatening alone, having known that also your Master is in the heavens, and acceptance of persons
9 E vós, senhores, fazei as mesmas coisas para com eles, deixando as ameaças, sabendo também que o Senhor deles e vosso está no céu, e não há acepção de pessoas com ele.
10 As to the rest, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might;
10 E finalmente, meus irmãos, sede fortes no Senhor e na força do seu poder.
11 put on the whole armour of God, for your being able to stand against the wiles
11 Revesti-vos de toda a armadura de Deus, para que possais estar firmes contra as astutas ciladas do diabo.
12 because we have not the wrestling with blood and flesh, but with the principalities, with the authorities, with the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, with the spiritual things of the evil in the heavenly places;
12 Porque não lutamos contra carne e sangue, mas contra os principados, contra as potestades, contra os governantes das trevas deste mundo, contra a maldade espiritual em regiões celestiais.
13 because of this take you up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to resist in the day of the evil, and all things having done -- to stand.
13 Portanto, tomai toda a armadura de Deus, para que possais resistir no dia mau e, havendo feito tudo, ficar firmes.
14 Stand, therefore, having your loins girt
14 Portanto, estai firmes, tendo cingidos os vossos lombos com a verdade, e vestida a couraça da justiça,
15 and having the feet shod in the preparation of the good-news of the peace;
15 e calçados os vossos pés na preparação do evangelho da paz;
16 above all, having taken up the shield of the faith, in which ye shall be able all the fiery darts of the evil one to quench,
16 tomando, sobre tudo, o escudo da fé, com o qual podereis apagar todos os dardos inflamados do maligno.
17 and the helmet of the salvation receive, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the saying of God,
17 E tomai o capacete da salvação, e a espada do Espírito, que é a palavra de Deus.
18 through all prayer and supplication
18 Orando em todo tempo com toda oração e súplica no Espírito, e vigiando nisso com toda perseverança e súplica por todos os santos,
19 and in behalf of me, that to me may be given a word in the opening of my mouth, in freedom, to make known the secret of the good news,
19 e por mim; que a palavra me seja dada, para que eu possa abrir a minha boca ousadamente, para fazer conhecido o mistério do evangelho,
20 for which I am an ambassador in a chain, that in it I may speak freely -- as it behooves
20 pelo qual sou embaixador em cadeias; para que possa falar dele ousadamente, como me convém falar.
21 And that you may know -- you also -- the things concerning me -- what I do, all things make known to you shall Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord,
21 Ora, para que vós também possais saber das coisas acerca de mim e o que faço, Tíquico, irmão amado e fiel ministro do Senhor, vos fará saber todas as coisas,
22 whom I did send unto you for this very thing, that you might know the things concerning us, and that he might comfort your hearts.
22 o qual vos enviei para o mesmo propósito, para que conheçais as coisas a nosso respeito, e para que ele console os vossos corações.
23 Peace to the brethren, and love, with faith, from God the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ!
23 Paz seja com os irmãos e amor com fé, da parte de Deus o Pai e da do Senhor Jesus Cristo.
24 The grace with all those loving our Lord Jesus Christ -- undecayingly! Amen.
24 A graça seja com todos os que amam a nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo em sinceridade. Amém.
