1 Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered, Yea let them that hate him flee before him:
1 Ao mestre de canto. Salmo de Davi. Cântico. Levanta-se Deus; eis que se dispersam seus inimigos, e fogem diante dele os que o odeiam.
2 As smoke is driven about, Let them be driven about,As wax is melted before a fire, Let the lawless perish before God.
2 Eles se dissipam como a fumaça, como a cera que se derrete ao fogo. Assim perecem os maus diante de Deus.
3 But let, the righteous, be glad, let them exult before God, Yea let them rejoice with gladness.
3 Os justos, porém, exultam e se rejubilam em sua presença, e transbordam de alegria.
4 Sing ye to God, Make music of his Name,Lift up (a song), to him that rideth through the waste plains,Since Yah is his name, exult ye before him.
4 Cantai à glória de Deus, cantai um cântico ao seu nome, abri caminho para o que em seu carro avança pelo deserto. Senhor é o seu nome, exultai em sua presença.
5 The father of the fatherless, And the advocate of widows, Is God, in his holy habitation.
5 É o pai dos órfãos e o protetor das viúvas, esse Deus que habita num templo santo.
6 God, is he that causeth the solitary to dwell in a home, That bringeth out prisoners into prosperity, But, the rebellious, have made their habitation in a sunburnt land.
6 Aos abandonados Deus preparou uma casa, conduz os cativos à liberdade e ao bem-estar; só os rebeldes ficam num deserto ardente.
7 O God! When thou camest forth before thy people, When thou didst stride through the wilderness, Selah.
7 Ó Deus, quando saíeis à frente de vosso povo, quando avançáveis pelo deserto,
8 Earth, trembled, Yea, the heavens, dripped at the presence of God,This Sinaiat the presence of God, the God of Israel.
8 a terra tremia, os próprios céus rorejavam diante de vós, o monte Sinai estremecia na presença do Deus de Israel.
9 A bounteous rain, dost thou shed abroad, O God, upon thine inheritance, When exhausted, thou thyself, hast supported it:
9 Sobre vossa herança fizestes cair generosa chuva, e restaurastes suas forças fatigadas.
10 Thy living host, have remained therein, Thou dost provide, in thy bounty, for the humbled onesO God!
10 Vosso rebanho fixou habitação numa terra que vossa bondade, ó Deus, lhe havia preparado.
11 Let, My Lord, but give the word, The herald bands, will be a mighty host:
11 Apenas o Senhor profere uma palavra, tornam-se numerosas as mulheres que anunciam a boa nova:
12 Kings of armies, they flee! they flee! And, she that stayeth at home, shall share the spoil.
12 Fogem, fogem os reis dos exércitos; os habitantes partilham os despojos.
13 Though ye rest between the folds, The wings of the dove, shall be covered with silver, And, her pinions, with green-shimmering gold.
13 Enquanto entre os rebanhos repousáveis, as asas da pomba refulgiam como prata, e de ouro era o brilho de suas penas.
14 When the Almighty scattereth kings therein, It will gleam like snow in the gloom:
14 Quando o Todo-poderoso dispersava os reis, caía a neve sobre o Salmon.
15 A mighty mountain, is the mountain of Bashan, A mountain of peaks, is the mountain of Bashan!
15 Os montes de Basã são elevados, alcantilados são os montes de Basã.
16 Wherefore start ye up, ye mountains, ye peaks? The mountain God hath coveted for his habitation, Surely, Yahweh will inhabit it ever!
16 Montes escarpados, por que invejais a montanha que Deus escolheu para morar, para nela estabelecer uma habitação eterna?
17 The chariots of God, are two myriadsthousands repeated, My Lord, is among them Sinai, is in the sanctuary!
17 São milhares e milhares os carros de Deus: do Sinai vem o Senhor ao seu santuário.
18 Thou hast ascended on high, Thou hast led in procession a body of captives, Thou hast received gifts consisting of men, Yea even the rebellious, That, Yah, Elohim, might settle down to rest.
18 Subindo nas alturas levastes os cativos; recebestes homens como tributos, aqueles que recusaram habitar com o Senhor Deus.
19 Blessed be My Lord! Day by day, he beareth our burden for us, GOD himself, is our salvation. Selah.
19 Bendito seja o Senhor todos os dias; Deus, nossa salvação, leva nossos fardos:
20 The GOD we have, is a GOD of saving deeds, And, due to Yahweh, My Lord, are escapes from death.
20 nosso Deus é um Deus que salva, da morte nos livra o Senhor Deus.
21 Yea, God himself, will smite through the head of his foes,The hairy crown of him that is marching on in his guilty deeds.
21 Sim, Deus parte a cabeça de seus inimigos, o crânio hirsuto do que persiste em seus pecados.
22 Said My Lord, From Bashan, will I bring back,I will bring back from the depths of the sea:
22 Dissera o Senhor: Ainda que seja de Basã, eu os farei voltar, eu os trarei presos das profundezas do mar,
23 That thou mayest bathe thy foot in blood,The tongue of thy dogs, from the foes, hath its portion.
23 para que banhes no sangue os teus pés, e a língua de teus cães receba dos inimigos seu quinhão.
24 They have seen thy progress O God, The progress of my GOD, my king into the sanctuary:
24 Contemplam a vossa chegada, ó Deus, a entrada do meu Deus, do meu rei, no santuário;
25 In front are the singers, Behind are the harpers, In the midst of damsels playing on timbrels:
25 Vêm na frente os cantores, atrás os tocadores de cítara; no meio, as jovens tocando tamborins.
26 In the congregations, bless ye God, My Lord, from among the called of Israel:
26 Bendizei a Deus nas vossas assembléias, bendizei ao Senhor, filhos de Israel!
27 There, is Benjamin, the Diminutiveruling them, The princes of Judahtheir throng, The princes of Zebulun, The princes of Naphtali.
27 Eis Benjamim, o mais jovem, que vai na frente; depois os príncipes de Judá, com seus esquadrões; os príncipes de Zabulon, os príncipes de Neftali.
28 Thy God hath commanded thy strength,The strength, O God, which thou hast wrought for us.
28 Mostrai, ó Deus, o vosso poder, esse poder com que atuastes em nosso favor.
29 Because of thy temple above Jerusalem, Unto thee, shall kings bear along a gift
29 Pelo vosso templo em Jerusalém, ofereçam-vos presentes os reis!
30 Rebuke thou, The wild beast of the reeds, The herd of mighty oxen among the calves of the peoplesEach one bowing down with bars of silver,Scatter thou the peoples, who in wars take delight.
30 Reprimi a fera dos canaviais, a manada dos touros com os novilhos das nações pagãs. Que eles se prosternem com barras de prata. Dispersai as nações que se comprazem na guerra.
31 Ambassadors come out of Egypt, The Ethiopian, eagerly stretcheth out his hands, unto God.
31 Aproximem-se os grandes do Egito, estenda a Etiópia suas mãos para Deus.
32 Ye kingdoms of the earth, sing unto God, Praise in song Adonay. Selah.
32 Reinos da terra, cantai à glória de Deus, cantai um cântico ao Senhor,
33 Unto him that rideth upon the most ancient heavens, Lo! he uttereth his voice, a voice of strength.
33 que é levado pelos céus, pelos céus eternos; eis que ele fala, sua voz é potente:
34 Ascribe ye strength unto God,Over Israel, is his majesty, And his strength, in the skies. To be revered is God, for his sanctuary,
34 Reconhecei o poder de Deus! Sua majestade se estende sobre Israel, sua potência aparece nas nuvens.
35 As for the GOD of Israel, he, is giving strength and abundant might to the people. Blessed be God!
35 De seu santuário, temível é o Deus de Israel; é ele que dá ao seu povo a força e o poder. Bendito seja Deus!
