1 Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered, Yea let them that hate him flee before him:
1 Deus se levanta e espalha os seus inimigos; os que o odeiam são derrotados e fogem da sua presença.
2 As smoke is driven about, Let them be driven about,As wax is melted before a fire, Let the lawless perish before God.
2 Ele os espalha como a fumaça que desaparece no ar. Os maus se acabam na presença de Deus como a cera se derrete perto do fogo.
3 But let, the righteous, be glad, let them exult before God, Yea let them rejoice with gladness.
3 Mas os bons ficam contentes e felizes na sua presença e, cheios de alegria, cantam hinos.
4 Sing ye to God, Make music of his Name,Lift up (a song), to him that rideth through the waste plains,Since Yah is his name, exult ye before him.
4 Cantem em louvor a Deus, cantem hinos em sua honra. Preparem o caminho daquele que vem montado nas nuvens. O seu nome é alegrem-se na sua presença.
5 The father of the fatherless, And the advocate of widows, Is God, in his holy habitation.
5 Deus, que vive no seu santo Templo, cuida dos órfãos e protege as viúvas.
6 God, is he that causeth the solitary to dwell in a home, That bringeth out prisoners into prosperity, But, the rebellious, have made their habitation in a sunburnt land.
6 Ele dá aos abandonados um lar onde eles podem viver e solta os prisioneiros para que vivam livres e felizes. Mas os que se revoltam contra ele terão de morar numa terra deserta.
7 O God! When thou camest forth before thy people, When thou didst stride through the wilderness, Selah.
7 Ó Deus, quando conduziste o teu povo, quando marchaste pelo deserto,
8 Earth, trembled, Yea, the heavens, dripped at the presence of God,This Sinaiat the presence of God, the God of Israel.
8 a terra tremeu, e o céu derramou chuva por causa da vinda do Deus do Sinai , da vinda do Deus de Israel.
9 A bounteous rain, dost thou shed abroad, O God, upon thine inheritance, When exhausted, thou thyself, hast supported it:
9 Tu fizeste cair muita chuva e renovaste a tua terra cansada.
10 Thy living host, have remained therein, Thou dost provide, in thy bounty, for the humbled onesO God!
10 O teu povo fez nessa terra o seu lar; com a tua bondade, cuidaste dos pobres.
11 Let, My Lord, but give the word, The herald bands, will be a mighty host:
11 O Senhor deu uma ordem, e muitas mulheres levaram esta notícia:
12 Kings of armies, they flee! they flee! And, she that stayeth at home, shall share the spoil.
12 “Os reis e os seus exércitos estão fugindo!” Em casa, as mulheres repartiram o que havia sido tirado dos inimigos.
13 Though ye rest between the folds, The wings of the dove, shall be covered with silver, And, her pinions, with green-shimmering gold.
13 Elas pareciam pombas cobertas de prata, com asas brilhantes como ouro puro. Por que é que no dia da batalha alguns soldados ficaram no curral das ovelhas?
14 When the Almighty scattereth kings therein, It will gleam like snow in the gloom:
14 Quando o Deus Todo-Poderoso espalhou os reis, caiu neve ali no monte Salmom.
15 A mighty mountain, is the mountain of Bashan, A mountain of peaks, is the mountain of Bashan!
15 Como é alta a serra de Basã, a serra de muitos picos!
16 Wherefore start ye up, ye mountains, ye peaks? The mountain God hath coveted for his habitation, Surely, Yahweh will inhabit it ever!
16 Por que é que vocês, montanhas tão altas, olham com inveja para o que Deus escolheu para nele morar? O para sempre.
17 The chariots of God, are two myriadsthousands repeated, My Lord, is among them Sinai, is in the sanctuary!
17 Com os seus milhares e milhares de carros poderosos, Deus, o Senhor, veio do monte Sinai para o seu lugar santo.
18 Thou hast ascended on high, Thou hast led in procession a body of captives, Thou hast received gifts consisting of men, Yea even the rebellious, That, Yah, Elohim, might settle down to rest.
18 O Senhor subiu aos lugares mais altos, levando consigo muitos prisioneiros; ele recebeu presentes até mesmo de homens rebeldes. O
19 Blessed be My Lord! Day by day, he beareth our burden for us, GOD himself, is our salvation. Selah.
19 Louvado seja o Senhor, que dia a dia leva as nossas cargas! Deus é a nossa salvação.
20 The GOD we have, is a GOD of saving deeds, And, due to Yahweh, My Lord, are escapes from death.
20 O nosso Deus é o Deus que salva; ele é o que nos livra da morte.
21 Yea, God himself, will smite through the head of his foes,The hairy crown of him that is marching on in his guilty deeds.
21 Ele partirá a cabeça dos seus inimigos, daqueles que teimam em permanecer nos seus pecados.
22 Said My Lord, From Bashan, will I bring back,I will bring back from the depths of the sea:
22 Deus, o Senhor, nos disse: “Eu trarei os inimigos de vocês de volta do monte Basã. Eu os farei voltar das profundezas do mar
23 That thou mayest bathe thy foot in blood,The tongue of thy dogs, from the foes, hath its portion.
23 para que vocês se banhem no sangue deles e os cães de vocês possam lamber sangue à vontade.”
24 They have seen thy progress O God, The progress of my GOD, my king into the sanctuary:
24 Ó Deus, todos veem a tua marcha de vitória, o desfile de Deus, o meu Rei, entrando no seu Templo.
25 In front are the singers, Behind are the harpers, In the midst of damsels playing on timbrels:
25 Os cantores vão na frente, e os músicos, atrás; no meio, estão as moças tocando tamboris.
26 In the congregations, bless ye God, My Lord, from among the called of Israel:
26 Louvem a Deus na reunião do seu povo. Louvem a Deus, o todos os descendentes de Israel!
27 There, is Benjamin, the Diminutiveruling them, The princes of Judahtheir throng, The princes of Zebulun, The princes of Naphtali.
27 Primeiro vem Benjamim, a menor das depois vêm os líderes de Judá com o seu grupo; e, em seguida, os líderes de Zebulom e de Naftali.
28 Thy God hath commanded thy strength,The strength, O God, which thou hast wrought for us.
28 Mostra o teu poder, ó Deus, o poder que tens usado em nosso favor!
29 Because of thy temple above Jerusalem, Unto thee, shall kings bear along a gift
29 Do teu Templo, em Jerusalém, onde os reis trazem ofertas a ti,
30 Rebuke thou, The wild beast of the reeds, The herd of mighty oxen among the calves of the peoplesEach one bowing down with bars of silver,Scatter thou the peoples, who in wars take delight.
30 repreende o Egito, aquela fera dos canaviais. Ó Deus, repreende as nações, aquela manada de touros com os seus bezerros, até que elas se curvem e te ofereçam a sua prata! Espalha os povos que gostam de fazer guerra.
31 Ambassadors come out of Egypt, The Ethiopian, eagerly stretcheth out his hands, unto God.
31 Virão embaixadores do Egito; e os etíopes, com as mãos levantadas, orarão a ti, ó Deus.
32 Ye kingdoms of the earth, sing unto God, Praise in song Adonay. Selah.
32 Cantem hinos a Deus, povos de todas as nações, cantem louvores ao Senhor!
33 Unto him that rideth upon the most ancient heavens, Lo! he uttereth his voice, a voice of strength.
33 Louvem a ele, o cavaleiro do céu, o antigo céu. Escutem a voz do Senhor, a sua voz poderosa.
34 Ascribe ye strength unto God,Over Israel, is his majesty, And his strength, in the skies. To be revered is God, for his sanctuary,
34 Anunciem o poder de Deus; a majestade dele está sobre o povo de Israel, a sua força está nos céus.
35 As for the GOD of Israel, he, is giving strength and abundant might to the people. Blessed be God!
35 Como Deus é maravilhoso no seu Templo! O Deus de Israel dá força e poder ao seu povo. Louvem a Deus.
