¹ O God, thou hast rejected ushast scattered us, Thou hast been angry, Wilt thou restore us?

¹ Ó Deus, tu nos rejeitaste, tu nos esmagaste, tu tens estado indignado; oh, restabelece-nos.

² Thou hast shaken the landhast rent it, Heal thou the fractures thereoffor it hath tottered:

² Abalaste a terra, e a fendeste; sara as suas fendas, pois ela treme.

³ Thou hast suffered thy people to see hardship, Thou hast let them drink the wine of confusion.

³ Ao teu povo fizeste ver duras coisas; fizeste-nos beber o vinho de aturdimento.

⁴ Thou hadst givento them that revere theea banner, to float aloft, Because of faithfulness. Selah.

⁴ Deste um estandarte aos que te temem, para o qual possam fugir de diante do arco.

⁵ That thy beloved ones may be delivered, Save thou with thine own right handand answer us.

⁶ God, hath spoken in his holinessI will exult! I will apportion Shechem, And, the Vale of Succoth, will I measure out;

⁶ Deus falou na sua santidade: Eu exultarei; repartirei Siquém e medirei o vale de Sucote.

⁷ Mine, is Gileadand mine, Manasseh, But, Ephraim, is the defence, of my head, Judah, is my commanders staff;

⁷ Meu é Gileade, e meu é Manassés; Efraim é o meu capacete; Judá é o meu cetro.

⁸ Moab, is my wash-bowl, Upon Edom, will I throw my shoe, Over Philistia! raise shout of triumph.

⁸ Moabe é a minha bacia de lavar; sobre Edom lançarei o meu sapato; sobre a Filístia darei o brado de vitória.

⁹ Who will conduct me to fortified city? Who will lead me as far as Edom!

⁹ Quem me conduzirá à cidade forte? Quem me guiará até Edom?

¹⁰ Is it not, thou, O God?thou hast rejected us! And wilt thou not go forth, O God, with our hosts?

¹⁰ Não nos rejeitaste, ó Deus? e tu, ó Deus, não deixaste de sair com os nossos exércitos?

¹¹ Grant us help out of distress, For, vain, is the deliverance of man:

¹¹ Dá-nos auxílio contra o adversário, pois vão é o socorro da parte do homem.

¹² In God, we shall do valiantly, He himself, therefore, will tread down our adversaries.

¹² Em Deus faremos proezas; porque é ele quem calcará aos pés os nossos inimigos.
