1 the pen of a scribe who is skilled.
1 O meu coração trasborda de boas palavras; dirijo os meus versos ao rei; a minha língua é qual pena de um hábil escriba.
2 Most beautiful thou art, beyond the sons of men, Graciousness hath been poured forth by thy lips, For this cause, hath God blessed thee, to times age-abiding.
2 Tu és o mais formoso dos filhos dos homens; a graça se derramou nos teus lábios; por isso Deus te abençoou para sempre.
3 Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O mighty one, thine honour and thy majesty;
3 Cinge a tua espada à coxa, ó valente, na tua glória e majestade.
4 And, thy majesty, be successful! ride forth! on behalf of faithfulness, and humilityrighteousness, And let thine own right hand show thee wonderful things.
4 E em tua majestade cavalga vitoriosamente pela causa da verdade, da mansidão e da justiça, e a tua destra te ensina coisas terríveis.
5 Thine arrows, are sharpPeoples, under thee, fall! In the heart of the foes of the king.
5 As tuas flechas são agudas no coração dos inimigos do rei; os povos caem debaixo de ti.
6 Thy throne, O God, is to times age-abiding and beyond, A sceptre of equity, is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
6 O teu trono, ó Deus, subsiste pelos séculos dos séculos; cetro de eqüidade é o cetro do teu reino.
7 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated lawlessness,For this cause, hath God, thine own God, anointed thee, With the oil of gladness, beyond thy partners.
7 Amaste a justiça e odiaste a iniqüidade; por isso Deus, o teu Deus, te ungiu com óleo de alegria, mais do que a teus companheiros.
8 Myrrh and aloes, cassias, all thy garments,Out of the palaces of ivory, the tones of strings, have rejoiced thee.
8 Todas as tuas vestes cheiram a mirra a aloés e a cássia; dos palácios de marfim os instrumentos de cordas e te alegram.
9 Daughters of kings, are among thine honourable women, Stationed is the bride at thy right hand, in gold of Ophir.
9 Filhas de reis estão entre as tuas ilustres donzelas; à tua mão direita está a rainha, ornada de ouro de Ofir.
10 Hearken, O daughter, and observe, Incline also thine ear, Forget, then, thine own people, And the house of thy father;
10 Ouve, filha, e olha, e inclina teus ouvidos; esquece-te do teu povo e da casa de teu pai.
11 When the king shall desire thy beauty, Surely, he, is thy lord, then bow down to him.
11 Então o rei se afeiçoará à tua formosura. Ele é teu senhor, presta-lhe, pois, homenagem.
12 Also, the daughter of Tyre, with a present! Thy face, shall the rich of the people appease.
12 A filha de Tiro estará ali com presentes; os ricos do povo suplicarão o teu favor.
13 All gloriousthe daughter of a king her clothing!
13 A filha do rei está esplendente lá dentro do palácio; as suas vestes são entretecidas de ouro.
14 In embroidered raiment, shall she be brought unto the kingThe virgins that follow her, her companions, are to be conducted unto thee:
14 Em vestidos de cores brilhantes será conduzida ao rei; as virgens, suas companheiras que a seguem, serão trazidas à tua presença.
15 They shall be brought, with rejoicings and exultation,They shall enter into the palace of the king!
15 Com alegria e regozijo serão trazidas; elas entrarão no palácio do rei.
16 Instead of thy fathers, be thy sons, Thou shalt make them rulers in all the earth.
16 Em lugar de teus pais estarão teus filhos; tu os farás príncipes sobre toda a terra.
17 I will keep in remembrance thy Name, through each succeeding generation, For this cause, peoples, shall praise thee, to times age-abiding and beyond.
17 Farei lembrado o teu nome de geração em geração; pelo que os povos te louvarão eternamente.
