1 but, on the first day of the week, at early dawn, unto the tomb, came they, bringing the spices which they had prepared.
1 No primeiro dia da semana, de manhã bem cedo, as mulheres tomaram as especiarias aromáticas que haviam preparado e foram ao sepulcro.
2 And they found the stone, rolled away from the tomb;
2 Encontraram removida a pedra do sepulcro,
3 but, when they entered, they found not the body .
3 mas, quando entraram, não encontraram o corpo do Senhor Jesus.
4 And it came to pass, while they were perplexing themselves concerning this, that 1o! two men, stood near them, in dazzling raiment.
4 Ficaram perplexas, sem saber o que fazer. De repente dois homens com roupas que brilhavam como a luz do sol colocaram-se ao lado delas.
5 And, they becoming afraid, and bending their faces unto the ground, they said unto themWhy seek ye the Living One with the dead?
5 Amedrontadas, as mulheres baixaram o rosto para o chão, e os homens lhes disseram: "Por que vocês estão procurando entre os mortos aquele que vive?
6 Remember how he spake unto you while yet he was in Galilee:
6 Ele não está aqui! Ressuscitou! Lembrem-se do que ele lhes disse, quando ainda estava com vocês na Galiléia:
7 Saying, as to the Son of Man, that he must needs be delivered up into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified,and, on the third day, arise.
7 ‘É necessário que o Filho do homem seja entregue nas mãos de homens pecadores, seja crucificado e ressuscite no terceiro dia’ ".
8 And they remembered his sayings;
8 Então se lembraram das suas palavras.
9 and, returning from the tomb , reported all these things unto the eleven, and unto all the rest.
9 Quando voltaram do sepulcro, elas contaram todas estas coisas aos Onze e a todos os outros.
10 Now they were the Magdalene Mary, and Joana, and Mary the mother of James; and, the other women with them, were telling, unto the apostles, these things.
10 As que contaram estas coisas aos apóstolos foram Maria Madalena, Joana e Maria, mãe de Tiago, e as outras que estavam com elas.
11 And these sayings appeared before them, as if idle talk, and they were minded to disbelieve them.
11 Mas eles não acreditaram nas mulheres; as palavras delas lhes pareciam loucura.

12 Pedro, todavia, levantou-se e correu ao sepulcro. Abaixando-se, viu as faixas de linho e mais nada; afastou-se, e voltou admirado com o que acontecera.
13 And lo! two from among them, on the selfsame day, were journeying unto a village, distant sixty furlongs from Jerusalem, the name of which, was Emmaus;
13 Naquele mesmo dia, dois deles estavam indo para um povoado chamado Emaús, a onze quilômetros de Jerusalém.
14 and, they, were conversing one with another, about all these things which had occurred.
14 No caminho, conversavam a respeito de tudo o que havia acontecido.
15 And it came to pass, as they were conversing and reasoning together, that, Jesus himself, drawing near, was journeying with them;
15 Enquanto conversavam e discutiam, o próprio Jesus se aproximou e começou a caminhar com eles;
16 but, their eyes, were held, so as not to know him.
16 mas os olhos deles foram impedidos de reconhecê-lo.
17 And he said unto themWhat are these things which ye are debating one with another, as ye walk along? And they came to a stand, sad in countenance.
17 Ele lhes perguntou: "Sobre o que vocês estão discutindo enquanto caminham? " Eles pararam, com os rostos entristecidos.
18 But one, by name Cleopas, answering, said unto himArt, thou, lodging, alone, in Jerusalem, and knowest not the things which have come to pass therein in these days?
18 Um deles, chamado Cleopas, perguntou-lhe: "Você é o único visitante em Jerusalém que não sabe das coisas que ali aconteceram nestes dias? "
19 And he said unto themWhat things? And, they, said unto himThe things concerning Jesus the Nazarene, who became a prophet, mighty in work and word, before God and all the people:
19 "Que coisas? ", perguntou ele. "O que aconteceu com Jesus de Nazaré", responderam eles. "Ele era um profeta, poderoso em palavras e em obras diante de Deus e de todo o povo.
20 In what way also our High-priests and Rulers delivered him up unto a sentence of death, and crucified him.
20 Os chefes dos sacerdotes e as nossas autoridades o entregaram para ser condenado à morte, e o crucificaram;
21 We, however, were hoping that, he, was the one destined to redeem Israel! But indeed, even with all these things, this brings on, the third, day, since these things happened:
21 e nós esperávamos que era ele que ia trazer a redenção a Israel. E hoje é o terceiro dia desde que tudo isso aconteceu.
22 Nay! certain women also, from amongst us, have made us beside ourselves, in that they went early unto the tomb;
22 Algumas das mulheres entre nós nos deram um susto hoje. Foram de manhã bem cedo ao sepulcro
23 and, not finding his body, came, sayingthat, a vision of messengers, they had seen, who were affirming him to be alive.
23 e não acharam o corpo dele. Voltaram e nos contaram que tinham tido uma visão de anjos, que disseram que ele está vivo.
24 And certain of them who were with us departed unto the tomb,and found so, according as, the women, had said; but, him, they saw not.
24 Alguns dos nossos companheiros foram ao sepulcro e encontraram tudo exatamente como as mulheres tinham dito, mas não o viram".
25 And, he, said unto themO thoughtless ones! and slow in heart to rest your faith upon all things which the prophets have spoken:
25 Ele lhes disse: "Como vocês custam a entender e como demoram a crer em tudo o que os profetas falaram!
26 Was it not needful for the Christ, these very things, to suffer, and to enter into his glory?
26 Não devia o Cristo sofrer estas coisas, para entrar na sua glória? "
27 And, beginning from Moses, and from all the prophets, he thoroughly explained to them, in all the Scriptures, the things concerning himself.
27 E começando por Moisés e todos os profetas, explicou-lhes o que constava a respeito dele em todas as Escrituras.
28 And they drew near unto the village, whither they were journeying; and, he, made for journeying, further.
28 Ao se aproximarem do povoado para o qual estavam indo, Jesus fez como quem ia mais adiante.
29 And they constrained him, sayingAbide with us; because it is, towards evening, and the day hath already declined. And he went in to abide with them.
29 Mas eles insistiram muito com ele: "Fique conosco, pois a noite já vem; o dia já está quase findando". Então, ele entrou para ficar com eles.
30 And it came to pass, when he reclined with them, taking the loaf, he blessed, and, breaking it, went on to give unto them.
30 Quando estava à mesa com eles, tomou o pão, deu graças, partiu-o e o deu a eles.
31 And, their, eyes were opened, and they knew him; and, he, vanished from them.
31 Então os olhos deles foram abertos e o reconheceram, e ele desapareceu da vista deles.
32 And they said one to anotherWas not, our heart, burning, as he was speaking to us in the way, as he was opening to us the Scriptures?
32 Perguntaram-se um ao outro: "Não estavam ardendo os nossos corações dentro de nós, enquanto ele nos falava no caminho e nos expunha as Escrituras? "
33 And, arising in that very hour, they returned unto Jerusalem,and found, gathered together, the eleven, and them who were with them,
33 Levantaram-se e voltaram imediatamente para Jesuralém. Ali encontraram os Onze e os que estavam com eles reunidos,
34 sayingIn truth, the Lord hath arisen, and hath appeared unto Simon!
34 que diziam: "É verdade! O Senhor ressuscitou e apareceu a Simão! "
35 And, they, went on to relate the things,
35 Então os dois contaram o que tinha acontecido no caminho, e como Jesus fora reconhecido por eles quando partia o pão.
36 Now, as, these very things, they were telling, he himself, stood in their midst
36 Enquanto falavam sobre isso, o próprio Jesus apresentou-se entre eles e lhes disse: "Paz seja com vocês! "
37 But, being agitated and becoming, afraid, they began to imagine, that, upon a spirit, they were looking.
37 Eles ficaram assustados e com medo, pensando que estavam vendo um espírito.
38 And he said unto themWhy are ye troubled? and for what cause do reasonings arise in your hearts?
38 Ele lhes disse: "Por que vocês estão perturbados e por que se levantam dúvidas em seus corações?
39 See my hands, and my feet,that it is, I, myself: Handle me, and see! because, a spirit, hath not, flesh and bones, as ye perceive, I, have.
39 Vejam as minhas mãos e os meus pés. Sou eu mesmo! Toquem-me e vejam; um espírito não tem carne nem ossos, como vocês estão vendo que eu tenho".
40 fehlt
40 Tendo dito isso, mostrou-lhes as mãos e os pés.
41 Now, while yet they believed not for the joy, and were marvelling, he said unto themHave ye anything to eat, here?
41 E por não crerem ainda, tão cheios estavam de alegria e de espanto, ele lhes perguntou: "Vocês têm aqui algo para comer? "
42 And they gave unto him a piece of boiled fish;
42 Deram-lhe um pedaço de peixe assado,
43 and, taking it before them, he did eat.
43 e ele o comeu na presença deles.
44 And he said unto themThese, are my words, which I spake unto you yet being with you: That all the things that are written in the law of Moses and the Prophets and Psalms, concerning me, must needs be fulfilled.
44 E disse-lhes: "Foi isso que eu lhes falei enquanto ainda estava com vocês: Era necessário que se cumprisse tudo o que a meu respeito estava escrito na Lei de Moisés, nos Profetas e nos Salmos".
45 Then, opened he their mind, to understand the Scriptures;
45 Então lhes abriu o entendimento, para que pudessem compreender as Escrituras.
46 and said unto themThus, it is written, That the Christ, should suffer, and arise from among the dead on the third day;
46 E lhes disse: "Está escrito que o Cristo haveria de sofrer e ressuscitar dos mortos no terceiro dia,
47 And that repentance for remission of sins should be proclaimed upon his name unto all the nations,beginning from Jerusalem.
47 e que em seu nome seria pregado o arrependimento para perdão de pecados a todas as nações, começando por Jerusalém.
48 Ye, are witnesses of these things.
48 Vocês são testemunhas destas coisas.
49 And lo! I, am sending forth the promise of my Father upon you; but tarry, ye, in the city, until ye be clothed, from on high, with power.
49 Eu lhes envio a promessa de meu Pai; mas fiquem na cidade até serem revestidos do poder do alto".
50 And he led them forth as far as unto Bethany; and, uplifting his hands, he blessed them.
50 Tendo-os levado até as proximidades de Betânia, Jesus levantou as mãos e os abençoou.
51 And it came to pass, while he was blessing them, he parted from them
51 Estando ainda a abençoá-los, ele os deixou e foi elevado ao céu.
52 And, they, returned unto Jerusalem, with great joy;
52 Então eles o adoraram e voltaram para Jerusalém com grande alegria.
53 and were continually in the temple, blessing God.
53 E permaneciam constantemente no templo, louvando a Deus.
