1 Now, these, are their ancestral heads, and their genealogical register,even of those who came up with me, in the reign of Artaxerxes the king, out of Babylon:
1 Estes são, os chefes dos seus pais, e esta é a genealogia daqueles que subiram comigo de Babilônia, no reinado do rei Artaxerxes.
2 Of the sons of Phinehas, Gershom, of the sons of Ithamar, Daniel,of the sons of David, Hattush;
2 Dos filhos de Fineias: Gérson; dos filhos de Itamar: Daniel; dos filhos de Davi: Hatus.
3 Of the sons of Shecaniah, of the sons of Parosh, Zechariah,and, with himby genealogical registry of males, a hundred and fifty:
3 Dos filhos de Secanias e dos filhos de Parós, Zacarias, e com ele foram considerados pelas genealogias dos homens, cento e cinquenta.
4 Of the sons of Pahath-moab, Eliehoenai, son of Zerahiah,and, with him, two hundred males;
4 Dos filhos de Paate-Moabe: Elioenai, filho de Zeraías, e com ele, duzentos homens.
5 Of the sons of Zattu, Shecaniah, the son of Jehaziel,and, with him, three hundred males;
5 Dos filhos de Secanias: o filho de Jaaziel, e com ele trezentos homens.
6 And, of the sons of Adin, Ebed, son of Jonathan,and, with him, fifty males;
6 Dos filhos de Adim: Ebede, o filho de Jônatas, e com ele cinquenta homens.
7 And, of the sons of Elam, Jeshaiah, son of Athaliah,and, with him, seventy males;
7 E dos filhos de Elão: Jesaías, o filho de Atalias, e com ele setenta homens.
8 And, of the sons of Shephatiah, Zebadiah, son of Michael,and, with him, eighty males;
8 E dos filhos de Sefatias: Zebadias, o filho de Micael, e com ele oitenta homens.
9 Of the sons of Joab, Obadiah, son of Jehiel, and, with him, two hundred and eighteen males;
9 Dos filhos de Joabe: Obadias, filho de Jeiel, e com ele duzentos e dezoito homens.
10 And, of the sons of Bani, Shelomith, son of Josiphiah,and, with him, a hundred and sixty males;
10 E dos filhos de Selomite: o filho de Josifias, e com ele cento e sessenta homens.
11 And, of the sons of Bebai, Zechariah, son of Bebai, and, with him, twenty-eight males;
11 E dos filhos de Bebai: Zacarias, o filho de Bebai, e com ele vinte e oito homens.
12 And, of the sons of Azgad, Johanan, son of Hakkatan,and, with him, a hundred and ten males;
12 E dos filhos de Azgade: Joanã, o filho de Hacatã, e com ele cento e dez homens.
13 And, of the later sons of Adonikam, these being their names, Eliphelet, Jeuel, and Shemaiah,and, with them, sixty males;
13 E dos últimos filhos de Adonicão, cujos nomes são estes: Elifelete, Jeiel e Semaías, e com eles sessenta homens.
14 And, of the sons of Bigvai, Uthai and Zabbud,and, with him, seventy males.
14 Dos filhos também de Bigvai: Utai e Zabude, e com eles setenta homens.
15 And I gathered them together, unto the river that cometh into Ahava, and we encamped there three days,and I informed myself among the people and the priests, and, of the sons of Levi, found I none there.
15 E eu reuni a todos junto ao rio que corre para Aava; e ali nós permanecemos três dias em tendas; e eu vi o povo, e os sacerdotes, e ali não encontrei nenhum dos filhos de Levi.
16 So I sent for Eliezer, for Ariel, for Shemaiah, and for Elnathan, and for Jarib, and for Elnathan, and for Nathan, and for Zechariah, and for Meshullam, chief men,also for Joiarib and for Elnathan, teachers.
16 Então eu mandei chamar a Eliézer, a Ariel, a Semaías, e a Elnatã, e a Jaribe, e a Elnatã, e a Natã, e a Zacarias, e a Mesulão, homens principais; também a Joiaribe, e a Elnatã, homens de entendimento.
17 And I sent them forth unto Iddo the chief, at the place Casiphia,and I put into their mouth words, to speak unto Iddo and his brethren the Nethinim, at the place Casiphia, to bring unto us attendants for the house of our God.
17 E eu os enviei com mandamento para Ido, o chefe no lugar chamado Casifia, e eu lhes disse o que eles deveriam dizer para Ido, e para os seus irmãos, os netineus, no lugar chamado Casifia, para que eles nos trouxessem ministros para a casa do nosso Deus.
18 So they brought unto us, according to the good hand of our God upon us, a man of discretion, of the sons of Mahli, son of Levi, son of Israel,and Sherebiah, and his sons and his brethren, eighteen;
18 E pela boa mão do nosso Deus sobre nós eles nos trouxeram um homem de entendimento, dos filhos de Mali, o filho de Levi, o filho de Israel; e Serebias, com os seus filhos e os seus irmãos, dezoito;
19 and Hashabiah, and, with him, Jeshaiah, of the sons of Merari,his brethren and their sons, twenty;
19 e Hasabias e com ele Jesaías, dos filhos de Merari, os seus irmãos e os seus filhos, vinte;
20 and, of the Nethinim whom David and the rulers had given for the service of the Levites, Nethinim, two hundred and twenty,all of them, expressed by name.
20 também dos netineus, aos quais Davi e os príncipes haviam indicado para o serviço dos levitas, duzentos e vinte netineus; todos eles foram designados por nome.
21 Then proclaimed I there a fast, by the river Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God,to seek of him a smooth way, for us and for our little ones, and for all our substance.
21 Então, eu proclamei ali um jejum, junto ao rio de Aava, para que nós pudéssemos nos humilhar diante de Deus, para buscar dele um caminho reto para nós, e para os nossos pequenos, e para toda a nossa fazenda.
22 For I was ashamed to ask of the king, a band of soldiers and horsemen, to help us against the enemy in the way, because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God, is upon all who seek him, for good, But, his power and his anger, are against all who forsake him.
22 Pois eu estava envergonhado em requerer do rei uma tropa de soldados e cavaleiros para nos ajudar contra o inimigo pelo caminho; porque nós havíamos falado ao rei, dizendo: A mão do nosso Deus está sobre todos os que o buscam para o bem; mas o seu poder e a sua ira estão contra todos aqueles que o desprezam.
23 So we fasted and sought of our God, concerning this,and he suffered himself to be entreated by us.
23 Assim, jejuamos e buscamos o nosso Deus por isto; e ele moveu-se por nós.
24 Then I separated, from among the rulers of the priests, twelve,even Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and, with them, from among their brethren, ten;
24 Então, eu separei doze dos chefes dos sacerdotes, Serebias, Hasabias e com eles dez de seus irmãos,
25 and weighed unto them, the silver and the gold, and the utensils,the heave-offering for the house of our God, which the king and his counselors and his rulers and all Israel who were present, had offered:
25 e pesei-lhes a prata, e o ouro, e os vasos, a saber a oferta para a casa do nosso Deus, a qual tinham oferecido o rei, e os seus conselheiros, e os seus senhores, e todo o Israel presente ali.
26 I even weighed unto their hand, of silver, six hundred and fifty talents, and, of utensils of silver, a hundred talents,of gold, a hundred talents;
26 Eu até pesei em suas mãos seiscentos e cinquenta talentos de prata, e em vasos de prata cem talentos, e cem talentos de ouro,
27 and, bowls of gold, twenty, of a thousand drams,and, utensils of fine bright bronze, two, precious as gold.
27 também vinte bacias de ouro de mil dracmas, e dois vasos de fino cobre, preciosos como ouro.
28 Then said I unto them, Ye, are hallowed unto Yahweh, and, the utensils, are hallowed,and, the silver and the gold, are a freewill offering, unto Yahweh, God of your fathers:
28 E eu disse-lhes: Vós sois santos para o SENHOR; os vasos também são santos; e a prata e o ouro são uma oferta voluntária ao SENHOR Deus dos vossos pais.
29 Watch and guard, until ye weigh before the rulers of the priests and the Levites and the ancestral rulers of Israel, in Jerusalem,in the chambers of the house of Yahweh.
29 Atentai, e guardai-os, até que os peseis diante dos chefes dos sacerdotes e dos levitas, e dos chefes dos pais de Israel, em Jerusalém, nas câmaras da casa do SENHOR.
30 So the priests and the Levites accepted the weight of the silver and the gold, and the utensils,to bring to Jerusalem, unto the house of our God.
30 Assim, receberam os sacerdotes e os levitas o peso da prata, e do ouro, e os vasos, para trazê-los a Jerusalém, até a casa do nosso Deus.
31 Then brake we up from the river of Ahava, on the twelfth of the first month, to journey unto Jerusalem,and, the hand of our God, was upon us, and he delivered us from the grasp of the enemy and of the lier in wait, by the way.
31 Então, nós partimos do rio de Aava, no décimo segundo dia do primeiro mês, para irmos a Jerusalém; e a mão do nosso Deus estava sobre nós, e ele nos livrou da mão do inimigo, e dos que nos armavam ciladas pelo caminho.
32 So we came to Jerusalem,and we rested there, three days.
32 E chegamos a Jerusalém, e permanecemos ali três dias.
33 And, on the fourth day, was weighedthe silver and the gold and the utensils, in the house of our God, unto the hand of Meremoth son of Uriah, the priest, and, with him, was Eleazar son of Phinehas,and, with them, were Jozabad son of Jeshua and Noadiah son of Binnui, Levites:
33 Ora, no quarto dia se pesou a prata e o ouro e os vasos na casa do nosso Deus pela mão de Meremote, o filho de Urias, o sacerdote; e com ele estava Eleazar, o filho de Fineias, e com eles estavam Jozabade, o filho de Jesuá, e Noadias, o filho de Binui, levitas;
34 by the number and by the weight of the whole,and all the weight, was written down, at that time.
34 por número e por peso de cada um; e todo o peso foi escrito naquele momento.
35 They who came in out of the captivity, Sons of the Exile, offered as ascending-sacrifices unto the God of Israelbullocks twelve for all Israel, rams ninety-six, young sheep seventy-seven, he-goats for bearing sin, twelve,the whole, as an ascending-sacrifice unto Yahweh.
35 Os filhos do cativeiro que tinham voltado do exílio, ofereceram ofertas queimadas ao Deus de Israel, doze novilhos por todo o Israel, noventa e seis carneiros, setenta e sete cordeiros, doze bodes como uma oferta pelo pecado; tudo isso foi uma oferta queimada ao SENHOR.
36 Then delivered they the decrees of the king, unto the satraps of the king, and the pashas Beyond the River,and they upheld the people and the house of God.
36 E entregaram os decretos do rei aos tenentes do rei, e aos governadores deste lado do rio; e eles apoiaram o povo, e a casa de Deus.
