¹ Now, the sons of Aaron, had their courses,the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar;

¹ E, quanto aos filhos de Arão, estas foram as suas divisões; os filhos de Arão foram Nadabe, e Abiú, e Eleazar, e Itamar.

² but Nadab and Abihu, died, before their father, and sons, had they none,but Eleazar and Ithamar became priests;

² E morreram Nadabe e Abiú antes de seu pai e não tiveram filhos; e Eleazar e Itamar administravam o sacerdócio.

³ and David apportioned to them courses, both to Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and to Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar,by their appointed place in their service.

³ E Davi os repartiu, como também a Zadoque, dos filhos de Eleazar, e a Aimeleque, dos filhos de Itamar, segundo o seu ofício no seu ministério.

⁴ But the sons of Eleazar were found to be more numerous, by the chiefs of their able men, than were the sons of Ithamar, so they divided them,the sons of Eleazar, had chiefs, of the ancestral house, sixteen, whereas, the sons of Ithamar, had of their ancestral house, eight.

⁴ E achou-se que eram muitos mais os filhos de Eleazar entre os chefes de famílias do que os filhos de Itamar, quando os repartiram; dos filhos de Eleazar, dezesseis chefes das casas dos pais, mas dos filhos de Itamar, segundo as casas de seus pais, oito.

⁵ They divided them, therefore, by lots, these with those,for there were princes of the sanctuary, and princes of God, from among the sons of Eleazar, and among the sons of Ithamar.

⁵ E os repartiram por sortes, uns com os outros; porque houve maiorais do santuário e maiorais da Casa de Deus, assim dentre os filhos de Eleazar, como dentre os filhos de Itamar.

⁶ And Shemaiah son of Nethanel the scribe from among the Levites, wrote them down, before the king and the rulers and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech son of Abiathar, and the ancestral chiefs, pertaining to the priests and to the Levites,one ancestral house, was taken for Eleazar, and, was equally taken, for Ithamar.

⁶ E os registrou Semaías, filho de Natanael, o escrivão dentre os levitas, perante o rei, e os príncipes, e Zadoque, o sacerdote, e Aimeleque, filho de Abiatar, e os chefes dos pais entre os sacerdotes e entre os levitas; uma dentre as casas dos pais se tomou para Eleazar, e se tomou outra para Itamar.

⁷ So then the first lot came forth for Jehoiarib, for Jedaiah, the second;

⁷ E saiu a primeira sorte a Jeoiaribe, a segunda, a Jedaías;

⁸ for Harim, the third, for Seorim, the fourth;

⁸ a terceira, a Harim; a quarta, a Seorim;

⁹ for Malchijah, the fifth, for Mijamin, the sixth;

⁹ a quinta, a Malquias; a sexta, a Miamim;

¹⁰ for Hakkoz, the seventh, for Abijah, the eighth;

¹⁰ a sétima, a Hacoz; a oitava, a Abias;

¹¹ for Jeshua, the ninth, for Shecaniah, the tenth;

¹¹ a nona, a Jesua; a décima, a Secanias;

¹² for Eliashib, the eleventh, for Jakim, the twelfth;

¹² a undécima, a Eliasibe; a duodécima, a Jaquim;

¹³ for Huppah, the thirteenth, for Jeshebeab, the fourteenth;

¹³ a décima terceira, a Hupá; a décima quarta, a Jesebeabe;

¹⁴ for Bilgah, the fifteenth, for Immer, the sixteenth;

¹⁴ a décima quinta, a Bilga; a décima sexta, a Imer;

¹⁵ for Hezir, the seventeenth, for Happizzez, the eighteenth;

¹⁵ a décima sétima a Hezir; a décima oitava, a Hapises;

¹⁶ for Pethahiah, the nineteenth, for Jehezkel, the twentieth;

¹⁶ a décima nona, a Petaías; a vigésima, a Jeezquel;

¹⁷ for Jachin, the twenty-first, for Gamul, the twenty-second;

¹⁷ a vigésima primeira, a Jaquim; a vigésima segunda, a Gamul;

¹⁸ for Delaiah, the twenty-third, for Maaziah, the twenty-fourth.

¹⁸ a vigésima terceira, a Delaías; a vigésima quarta, a Maazias.

¹⁹ These, were their appointed places for their service, for entering the house of Yahweh, according to the regulation of them, by the hand of Aaron their father,just as Yahweh God of Israel, commanded him.

¹⁹ O ofício destes, no seu ministério, era entrar na Casa do Senhor , segundo lhes fora ordenado por Arão, seu pai, como o Senhor , Deus de Israel, lhe tinha ordenado.

²⁰ Now, as for the sons of Levi who remained, of the sons of Amram, Shubael, of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.

²⁰ E do resto dos filhos de Levi: dos filhos de Anrão, Subael; dos filhos de Subael, Jedias;

²¹ Of Rehabiah, of the sons of Rehabiah, the chief Isshiah;

²¹ dos filhos de Reabias: Issias era o chefe;

²² of the Izharites, Shelomoth,of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath;

²² dos isaritas, Selomite; dos filhos de Selomite, Jaate;

²³ and, the sons , Jeriah,Amariah, the second, Jehaziel, the third, Jekameam, the fourth;

²³ dos filhos de Hebrom, Jerias, o primeiro, Amarias, o segundo, Jaaziel, o terceiro, Jecameão, o quarto;

²⁴ the sons of Uzziel, Micah, of the sons of Micah, Shamir;

²⁴ dos filhos de Uziel, Mica; dos filhos de Mica, Samir;

²⁵ the brother of Micah, Isshiah, of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.

²⁵ o irmão de Mica, Issias; dos filhos de Issias, Zacarias;

²⁶ The sons of Merari, Mahli and Mushi,the sons of Jaaziah, Beno;

²⁶ dos filhos de Merari, Mali e Musi; dos filhos de Jaazias, Beno;

²⁷ the sons of Merari, of Jaaziah, Beno, and Shoham and Zaccur and Ibri:

²⁷ dos filhos de Merari, da parte de Jaazias, Beno, e Soão, e Zacur, e Ibri;

²⁸ of Mahli, Eleazar, who had no sons;

²⁸ de Mali, Eleazar; este não teve filhos;

²⁹ of Kishthe sons of Kish, Jerameel;

²⁹ dos filhos de Quis, Jerameel;

³⁰ and, the sons of Mushi, Mahli and Eder and Jerimoth. These, were the sons of the Levites, belonging to their ancestral house.

³⁰ dos filhos de Musi, Mali, e Éder, e Jerimote; estes foram os filhos dos levitas, segundo as suas casas paternas.

³¹ Moreover, they also, cast lots along with their brethren the sons of Aaron, before David the king and Zadok and Ahimelech, and the ancestral chiefs, pertaining to the priests and to the Levites, the ancestral chief along with his younger brethren.

³¹ E o chefe da casa dos pais e bem assim como um de seus irmãos menores lançaram sortes igualmente como seus irmãos, os filhos de Arão, perante o rei Davi, e Zadoque, e Aimeleque, e os chefes dos pais entre os sacerdotes e entre os levitas.
