¹ Now, the sons of Aaron, had their courses,the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar;

¹ Quanto aos filhos de Arão, foram eles divididos por seus turnos. Filhos de Arão: Nadabe, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.

² but Nadab and Abihu, died, before their father, and sons, had they none,but Eleazar and Ithamar became priests;

² Nadabe e Abiú morreram antes de seu pai e não tiveram filhos; Eleazar e Itamar oficiavam como sacerdotes.

³ and David apportioned to them courses, both to Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and to Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar,by their appointed place in their service.

³ Davi, com Zadoque, dos filhos de Eleazar, e com Aimeleque, dos filhos de Itamar, os dividiu segundo os seus deveres no seu ministério.

⁴ But the sons of Eleazar were found to be more numerous, by the chiefs of their able men, than were the sons of Ithamar, so they divided them,the sons of Eleazar, had chiefs, of the ancestral house, sixteen, whereas, the sons of Ithamar, had of their ancestral house, eight.

⁴ E achou-se que eram mais os filhos de Eleazar entre os chefes de famílias do que os filhos de Itamar, quando os dividiram; dos filhos de Eleazar, dezesseis chefes de famílias; dos filhos de Itamar, oito.

⁵ They divided them, therefore, by lots, these with those,for there were princes of the sanctuary, and princes of God, from among the sons of Eleazar, and among the sons of Ithamar.

⁵ Repartiram-nos por sortes, uns como os outros; porque havia príncipes do santuário e príncipes de Deus, tanto dos filhos de Eleazar como dos filhos de Itamar.

⁶ And Shemaiah son of Nethanel the scribe from among the Levites, wrote them down, before the king and the rulers and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech son of Abiathar, and the ancestral chiefs, pertaining to the priests and to the Levites,one ancestral house, was taken for Eleazar, and, was equally taken, for Ithamar.

⁶ Semaías, escrivão, filho de Natanael, levita, registrou-os na presença do rei, dos príncipes, do sacerdote Zadoque, de Aimeleque, filho de Abiatar, e dos cabeças das famílias dos sacerdotes e dos levitas; sendo escolhidas as famílias, por sorte, alternadamente, para Eleazar e para Itamar.

⁷ So then the first lot came forth for Jehoiarib, for Jedaiah, the second;

⁷ Saiu a primeira sorte a Jeoiaribe; a segunda, a Jedaías;

⁸ for Harim, the third, for Seorim, the fourth;

⁸ a terceira, a Harim; a quarta, a Seorim;

⁹ for Malchijah, the fifth, for Mijamin, the sixth;

⁹ a quinta, a Malquias; a sexta, a Miamim;

¹⁰ for Hakkoz, the seventh, for Abijah, the eighth;

¹⁰ a sétima, a Hacoz; a oitava, a Abias;

¹¹ for Jeshua, the ninth, for Shecaniah, the tenth;

¹¹ a nona, a Jesua; a décima, a Secanias;

¹² for Eliashib, the eleventh, for Jakim, the twelfth;

¹² a undécima, a Eliasibe; a duodécima, a Jaquim;

¹³ for Huppah, the thirteenth, for Jeshebeab, the fourteenth;

¹³ a décima terceira, a Hupá; a décima quarta, a Jesebeabe;

¹⁴ for Bilgah, the fifteenth, for Immer, the sixteenth;

¹⁴ a décima quinta, a Bilga; a décima sexta, a Imer;

¹⁵ for Hezir, the seventeenth, for Happizzez, the eighteenth;

¹⁵ a décima sétima, a Hezir; a décima oitava, a Hapises;

¹⁶ for Pethahiah, the nineteenth, for Jehezkel, the twentieth;

¹⁶ a décima nona, a Petaías; a vigésima, a Jeezquel;

¹⁷ for Jachin, the twenty-first, for Gamul, the twenty-second;

¹⁷ a vigésima primeira, a Jaquim; a vigésima segunda, a Gamul;

¹⁸ for Delaiah, the twenty-third, for Maaziah, the twenty-fourth.

¹⁸ a vigésima terceira, a Delaías; a vigésima quarta, a Maazias.

¹⁹ These, were their appointed places for their service, for entering the house of Yahweh, according to the regulation of them, by the hand of Aaron their father,just as Yahweh God of Israel, commanded him.

¹⁹ O ofício destes no seu ministério era entrar na Casa do Senhor , segundo a maneira estabelecida por Arão, seu pai, como o Senhor , Deus de Israel, lhe ordenara.

²⁰ Now, as for the sons of Levi who remained, of the sons of Amram, Shubael, of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.

²⁰ Eis os chefes do restante dos filhos de Levi: dos filhos de Anrão, Subael; dos filhos de Subael, Jedias;

²¹ Of Rehabiah, of the sons of Rehabiah, the chief Isshiah;

²¹ dos filhos de Reabias, Issias, o chefe;

²² of the Izharites, Shelomoth,of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath;

²² dos isaritas, Selomite; dos filhos de Selomite, Jaate;

²³ and, the sons , Jeriah,Amariah, the second, Jehaziel, the third, Jekameam, the fourth;

²³ dos filhos de Hebrom, Jerias, o primeiro, Amarias, o segundo, Jaaziel, o terceiro, Jecameão, o quarto;

²⁴ the sons of Uzziel, Micah, of the sons of Micah, Shamir;

²⁴ dos filhos de Uziel, Mica; dos filhos de Mica, Samir;

²⁵ the brother of Micah, Isshiah, of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.

²⁵ o irmão de Mica, Issias; dos filhos de Issias, Zacarias;

²⁶ The sons of Merari, Mahli and Mushi,the sons of Jaaziah, Beno;

²⁶ dos filhos de Merari, Mali e Musi; dos filhos de Jaazias, Beno;

²⁷ the sons of Merari, of Jaaziah, Beno, and Shoham and Zaccur and Ibri:

²⁷ dos filhos de Merari, da parte de Jaazias: Beno, Soão, Zacur e Ibri;

²⁸ of Mahli, Eleazar, who had no sons;

²⁸ de Mali, Eleazar, que não teve filhos;

²⁹ of Kishthe sons of Kish, Jerameel;

²⁹ dos filhos de Quis, Jerameel;

³⁰ and, the sons of Mushi, Mahli and Eder and Jerimoth. These, were the sons of the Levites, belonging to their ancestral house.

³⁰ dos filhos de Musi, Mali, Éder e Jerimote. Foram estes os filhos dos levitas, segundo as suas famílias.

³¹ Moreover, they also, cast lots along with their brethren the sons of Aaron, before David the king and Zadok and Ahimelech, and the ancestral chiefs, pertaining to the priests and to the Levites, the ancestral chief along with his younger brethren.

³¹ Também estes, tanto os chefes das famílias como os seus irmãos menores, como fizeram os outros seus irmãos, filhos de Arão, lançaram sortes na presença do rei Davi, de Zadoque, de Aimeleque e dos cabeças das famílias dos sacerdotes e dos levitas.
