Ʉlwitɨkano Ʉlʉpya (NYY) vs VC
1 Po Jesu, alɨnkʉjoba kangɨ na balongosi mfifwanikɨsyo alɨnkʉtɨ,
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 “ɄBʉnyafyale bwa kʉmwanya aabukwisa bo ʉlwa malafyale jʉmo, ʉjʉ aabɨɨkile ʉlʉsekelo lwa bwegi ʉbwa mwanaake ʉndʉmyana.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Alɨnkʉbatʉma ababombeli baake, kʉkʉbakoolela aba aabapaalile ʉkʉtɨ biise kʉ bwegi, looli abeene balɨnkʉkaana ʉkwisa.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 “Po alɨnkʉbatʉma kangɨ ababombeli abangɨ, alɨnkʉtɨ, ‘Mubabʉʉle aba mbapaalile ʉkʉtɨ, “Ndendekiisye ɨfindʉ fyosa ɨfya bwegi. Mboolile ɨngʼombe syangʉ ɨsi situpile fiijo, namwisege kʉ bwegi!” ’
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Looli abeene balɨnkʉsita kʉpaasya. Balɨnkʉsookapo, bamo balɨnkʉbʉʉka mmigʉnda gyabo, abangɨ mu mbombo syabo.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Bamo balɨnkʉbakola ababombeli baake bala, balɨnkʉbakoma fiijo nʉ kʉbagoga.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Ʉmalafyale jʉla alɨnkʉkalala fiijo, alɨnkʉbatʉma abasikali baake, balɨnkʉbʉʉka kʉkʉbagoga abagogi bala, nʉ kʉkosya akaaja kaabo.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Po ʉmalafyale alɨnkʉbabʉʉla ababombeli abangɨ alɨnkʉtɨ, ‘Ɨfindʉ ɨfya lʉsekelo ʉlwa bwegi fitendekesiigwe, looli aba naabapaalile bakaabagiisye.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Po ʉlʉ namubʉʉke moosa nkaaja, boosa aba mukwakʉbaaga mukabakoolele kʉ bwegi.’
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Ababombeli bala balɨnkʉbʉʉka nkaaja moosa. Balɨnkʉbabʉngaania abandʉ boosa aba babaagile, abanunu na babiibi. Po abaheesya balɨnkwisʉla mu nyumba jaa bwegi.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “Leelo ʉmalafyale bo ingiile nnyumba nkʉbakeeta abaheesya, alɨnkʉmmbona ʉmundʉ jʉmo ʉjʉ akaafwele ʉmwenda ʉgwa bwegi.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Alɨnkʉnndaalʉʉsya alɨnkʉtɨ, ‘Mmanyaani, gwingiile bʉleebʉle muno, bo ʉkafwala ʉmwenda ʉgʉ gʉbagiisye pa bwegi?’ Leelo ʉmundʉ jʉla alɨnkʉtoligwa ɨsya kʉjoba.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Po ʉmalafyale alɨnkʉbabʉʉla ababombeli baake alɨnkʉtɨ, ‘Mumpinye amalʉndɨ na maboko, muntaage panja mu ngiisi. Abandʉ aba ʉko bikwakʉlɨlaga nʉ kʉsyegetula amiino kʉnongwa jaa ndaamyo.’
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Ababɨlɨkɨligwa bingi, looli abasʉngʉligwa banandɨ itolo.”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Po aBafalisai balɨnkʉsookapo pala, balɨnkʉntegelela Jesu ʉkʉtɨ bankole mmasyʉ gaake.

16 Po balɨnkʉbatʉma kwa Jesu abafundigwa baabo, pamopeene na babombeli abaa malafyale Heloti, balɨnkʉnndaalʉʉsya balɨnkʉtɨ, “Gwe Mmanyisi, tʉmeenye ʉkʉtɨ ʉgwe ʉlɨ ngolofu, kʉmanyisya ɨsya Kyala kʉ bwanalooli kɨsita kʉpaasya ʉbʉsisya bwa bandʉ. Kangɨ ʉtikʉpaasya ɨsi bikwinogona abandʉ.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Po tʉbʉʉle muno kʉkeetela. Bʉle, ɨndagɨlo sya Moose sikʉtwitɨkɨsya ʉkʉsonga ɨsongo kʉ malafyale gwa Balooma pamo mma?”
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Looli Jesu alɨnkʉsyagania ɨnyiinogono syabo ɨmbiibi, alɨnkʉbaamula alɨnkʉtɨ, “Mwe basyobi ʉmwe, fiki mukʉʉngela?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Namuunangɨsye ɨndalama ɨsi mukʉhombela ɨsongo.” Boope balɨnkʉntwalɨla ʉlʉtalama lʉmo.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Po Jesu alɨnkʉbalaalʉʉsya alɨnkʉtɨ, “Ɨkɨfwani ɨkɨ kyani, nɨ ngamu ɨjɨ jaani?”
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Balɨnkʉmmwamula balɨnkʉtɨ, “Fya malafyale gwa Balooma.” Po Jesu alɨnkʉbabʉʉla alɨnkʉtɨ, “Po ɨfya malafyale gwa Balooma mumpege ʉmalafyale gwa Balooma, nɨ fya Kyala mumpege Kyala.”
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Bo bapɨliike ɨsyo, balɨnkʉswiga, po balɨnkʉnndeka, balɨnkʉsookapo pala.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Iisikʉ lɨlalɨla, aBasatukai bamo balɨnkʉbʉʉka kwa Jesu. Abeene baamanyisyaga ʉkʉtɨ abandʉ bakabagɨla ʉkʉsyʉka ʉkʉfuma mbafwe. Po balɨnkʉnndaalʉʉsya balɨnkʉtɨ,

24 “Gwe Mmanyisi, Moose aatile, ‘Lɨnga ʉmundʉ ikʉfwa kɨsita kʉpaapa ʉmwana najʉmo, ʉgwamyabo ammwingɨlengepo ɨkɨlɨngo ʉnkiikʉlʉ ʉmfwɨle jʉla, ʉkʉtɨ ampaapɨle abaana ʉjʉ afwile.’
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Kʉmyɨtʉ, baaliko abanyamundʉ bahaano na babɨlɨ. Ʉgwa kwanda alɨnkwega ʉnkiikʉlʉ, alɨnkʉfwa kɨsita kʉpaapa ʉmwana najʉmo. Alɨnkʉnndekela ʉgwamyabo ʉnkasi.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Bʉbʉʉbo ʉgwa bʉbɨlɨ, nʉ gwa bʉtatʉ, mpaka boosa bahaano na babɨlɨ balɨnkʉfwa kɨsita kʉpaapa nagwe.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Kʉmmalɨɨkɨsyo ʉnkiikʉlʉ jʉla joope alɨnkʉfwa.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Abandʉ boosa bo basyʉkile, ʉnkiikʉlʉ jʉla ikwisa kʉjaga nkasi gwani mbanyambala abo? Paapo boosa bahaano na babɨlɨ baalɨmmwegilemo!”
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Jesu alɨnkʉbaamula alɨnkʉtɨ, “Ʉmwe mukʉsoba paapo mukasyagania ɨsi sisimbiigwe mwa Kalata ʉMwikemo, kangɨ mukagamanya amaka gaa Kyala muno gajɨɨliile.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Paapo abafwe bo basyʉkile, bikʉjaga bo ʉlwa bandʉmi aba balɨ kʉmwanya, aba batikwega nʉ kwegigwa.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Looli ɨsya kʉsyʉka abafwe, Kyala aababʉʉlile ʉmwe mwa Kalata ʉMwikemo ʉkʉtɨ,
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 ‘Ʉne ne Kyala gwa Abulahamu, Kyala gwa Isaka na Kyala gwa Jaakobo.’ Bʉle, mukabalamo ɨsyo? Po Kyala akaja jo Kyala gwa bafwe, looli gwa bʉʉmi!”
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 Ɨkɨlʉndɨlo ɨkya bandʉ bo bapɨliike ɨsyo, baasiswigile fiijo ɨmanyisyo syake.
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 ABafalisai bo bapɨliike ʉkʉtɨ Jesu abatolile aBasatukai mbʉjobi, balɨnkʉbʉngaana pamopeene.
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 Jʉmo mBafalisai bala, ʉmmanyisi gwa ndagɨlo sya Moose, alɨnkʉgela ʉkʉntega Jesu, alɨnkʉnndaalʉʉsya alɨnkʉtɨ,
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 “Gwe Mmanyisi, lo lʉlagɨlo lʉlɨkʉ ʉlʉkʉlʉmba kʉlɨ syosa?”
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Jesu alɨnkʉmmwamula alɨnkʉtɨ, “Ʉnnganege ʉNtwa Kyala gwako nɨ ndumbula jaako joosa, nɨ mbepo jaako joosa, na mahala gaako goosa.
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Ʉlʉlagɨlo ʉlo, lo lʉkʉlʉmba ʉkʉkɨnda ɨndagɨlo ɨsingi syosa.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Kangɨ lʉlipo ʉlʉlagɨlo ʉlwa bʉbɨlɨ ʉlʉkʉlʉmba bo ʉlo, lo ʉlʉ lukʉtɨ, ‘Ʉbaganege abanino bo ʉlʉ gwijiiganile ʉgwe.’
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 Mu ndagɨlo ɨsyo ibɨlɨ, silimo syosa ɨsya mwa baakalata abaa Moose na baa bakunguluka.”
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 ABafalisai bala bo bakaalɨ babʉngeene pamopeene, Jesu alɨnkʉbalaalʉʉsya alɨnkʉtɨ,
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 “Mukwinogona bʉleebʉle ɨsya Meesija? Bʉle, mwana gwani?” Balɨnkʉmmwamula balɨnkʉtɨ, “Mwana gwa malafyale Ndaabɨti.”
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Jesu alɨnkʉbalaalʉʉsya alɨnkʉtɨ, “Po silɨ bʉleebʉle apa Ndaabɨti bo ikʉlongosigwa na Mbepo Mwikemo, ikʉnkoolela ʉkʉtɨ Ntwa? Paapo aatile,
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 ‘ɄNtwa Kyala aalɨmmbʉʉlile ʉNtwa gwangʉ,
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 “Lɨnga Ndaabɨti ikʉnkoolela Meesija ʉkʉtɨ Ntwa, Meesija ikʉjaga mwanaake bʉleebʉle?”
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 Akajako ʉmundʉ ʉjʉ aalɨmmwamwile Jesu. Kangɨ ʉkʉfuma iisikʉ ɨlyo, akaagelilepo ʉmundʉ najʉmo ʉkʉnndaalʉʉsya kangɨ Jesu.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
