New Simplified Bible (NSB) vs NVI
1 Great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised, in the city of our God, his sacred mountain.
1 Grande é o Senhor, e digno de todo louvor na cidade do nosso Deus.
2 His situation if beautiful. Mount Zion is the joy of the whole earth. The city of the great King is in the far reaches of the north.
2 Seu santo monte, belo e majestoso, é a alegria da terra toda. Como as alturas do Zafom é o monte Sião, a cidade do grande Rei.
3 God is in his citadel. He has made himself known.
3 Nas suas cidadelas Deus se revela como sua proteção.
4 Behold, the kings have assembled. And they passed by together.
4 Vejam! Os reis somaram forças, e juntos avançaram contra ela.
5 They saw and then they were amazed. They were terrified and they fled in fear.
5 Quando a viram, ficaram atônitos, fugiram aterrorizados.
6 Panic seized them there, Anguish, like a woman in childbirth.
6 Ali mesmo o pavor os dominou; contorceram-se como a mulher no parto.
7 You break the ships of Tarshish using the east wind.
7 Foste como o vento oriental quando destruiu os navios de Társis.
8 In the city of Jehovah of Hosts we have seen as we have heard. God will establish the city of God forever.
8 Como já temos ouvido, agora também temos visto na cidade do Senhor dos Exércitos, na cidade de nosso Deus: Deus a preserva firme para sempre. Pausa
9 We have thought about consideredcompared your loving-kindness, O God, in the midst of your Temple.
9 No teu templo, ó Deus, meditamos em teu amor leal.
10 Like according to your name, O God, your praise reaches to the ends of the earth. Your right hand is filled with righteousness.
10 Como o teu nome, ó Deus, o teu louvor alcança os confins da terra; a tua mão direita está cheia de justiça.
11 May Mount Zion be glad and the cities of Judah rejoice because of your judgments.
11 O monte Sião se alegra, as cidades de Judá exultam por causa das tuas decisões justas.
12 Walk around Zion. Go around it. Count its towers.
12 Percorram Sião, contornando-a, contem as suas torres,
13 Examine its embankments. Inspect its watchtowers. Then you can tell the next generation,
13 observem bem as suas muralhas, examinem as suas cidadelas, para que vocês falem à próxima geração
14 This God is our God forever and ever. He will lead us until death.
14 que este Deus é o nosso Deus para todo o sempre; ele será o nosso guia até o fim.
