1 Jehovah spoke to Moses:
1 O S enhor disse a Moisés:
2 »Command the Israelites to bring you pure, virgin olive oil for the lamp stand so that the lamps will not go out.
2 “Ordene aos israelitas que tragam óleo puro de azeitonas prensadas para a iluminação do candelabro, a fim de manter as lâmpadas sempre acesas.
3 »Aaron must keep the lamps lit in the Tent of Meeting from evening until morning. This is outside the canopy where the words of my covenant are in Jehovahs presence. It is a long lasting law for generations to come.
3 É o candelabro que fica na tenda do encontro, em frente à cortina interna que protege a arca da aliança. Arão manterá as lâmpadas acesas na presença do S enhor a noite toda. Essa é uma lei permanente para vocês e deve ser cumprida de geração em geração.
4 »Aaron must keep the lamps on the pure gold lamp stand lit in Jehovahs presence.
4 Arão e os sacerdotes manterão sempre em ordem, na presença do S enhor , as lâmpadas do candelabro de ouro puro.
5 »Take flour and bake twelve rings of bread. Each ring will contain four quarts of flour.
5 “Asse doze pães de farinha da melhor qualidade usando quatro litros de farinha para cada pão.
6 »Put them in two stacks of six each on the gold table in Jehovahs presence.
6 Coloque os pães diante do S enhor sobre a mesa de ouro puro e arrume-os em duas fileiras, com seis pães em cada fileira.
7 »Place pure incense on top of each stack. The incense on the bread will be a reminder, an offering by fire to Jehovah.
7 Coloque um pouco de incenso sobre cada fileira como oferta memorial, uma oferta especial apresentada ao S enhor .
8 »Every day of worship sabbath day a priest must arrange the bread in Jehovahs presence. It is a long lasting reminder of my promise to the Israelites.
8 A cada sábado, coloque regularmente diante do S enhor esses pães como oferta da parte dos israelitas; é uma expressão contínua da aliança sem fim.
9 »The bread will belong to Aaron and his sons. They will eat it in a holy place. It is very holy, set apart from Jehovahs offering by fire. This is a long lasting law.«
9 Os pães pertencerão a Arão e seus descendentes, que os comerão num lugar sagrado, pois são santíssimos. Os sacerdotes terão direito permanente a essa porção das ofertas especiais apresentadas ao S enhor ”. A pena para quem blasfemar
10 A man, whose mother was Shelomith daughter of Dibri, from the tribe of Dan in Israel and whose father was from Egypt, got into a quarrel with an Israelite in the camp.
10 Certo dia, um homem, filho de uma israelita e de um egípcio, saiu de sua tenda e se envolveu numa briga com um dos israelitas.
11 The Israelite woman's son began cursing Jehovahs name and treating it with contempt. So they brought him to Moses.
11 Durante a briga, o filho da israelita blasfemou o Nome com uma maldição. Por isso, foi levado a Moisés para ser julgado. A mãe dele se chamava Selomite, filha de Dibri, da tribo de Dã.
12 They held him in custody until Jehovah told them what to do.
12 O homem foi mantido preso até ficar clara a vontade do S enhor a respeito de sua situação.
13 Jehovah spoke to Moses:
13 Então o S enhor disse a Moisés:
14 »The man who cursed my name must be taken outside the camp. All who heard him curse my name must lay their hands on his head. Then the whole congregation must stone him to death.
14 “Leve o blasfemador para fora do acampamento e diga a todos que ouviram a maldição que coloquem as mãos sobre a cabeça dele. Depois, a comunidade toda o executará por apedrejamento.
15 »Inform the Israelites: Those who treat their God with contempt will be punished for their sin.
15 Diga ao povo de Israel: Quem amaldiçoar o seu Deus será castigado por causa do seu pecado.
16 »However those who curse Jehovahs name must be put to death. The whole congregation must stone them to death. It makes no difference whether they are Israelites or foreigners. Whoever curses abuses Jehovahs name must die.
16 Quem blasfemar o nome do S enhor será morto por apedrejamento por toda a comunidade de Israel. Qualquer israelita de nascimento ou estrangeiro entre vocês que blasfemar o Nome será morto.
17 »Whoever kills another person must be put to death.
17 “Quem tirar a vida de outra pessoa será morto.
18 »Whoever kills an animal must replace it, life for life.
18 “Quem matar um animal pertencente a outra pessoa a indenizará com um animal vivo.
19 »Should any of you injure another person, whatever you have done shall be done to you.
19 “Quem ferir outra pessoa será tratado de acordo com o ferimento que causou:
20 »If you break a bone, one of your bones must be broken. If you put out an eye, one of your eyes must be put out. Should you knock out a tooth, one of your teeth shall be knocked out. Whatever injury you cause another person must be done to you in return.
20 fratura por fratura, olho por olho, dente por dente. O dano que alguém fizer a outra pessoa, será feito a ele.
21 »Whoever kills an animal shall replace it, but whoever kills a human being shall be put to death.
21 “Quem matar um animal indenizará seu dono totalmente, mas quem matar uma pessoa será morto.
22 »This law applies to all of you. It applies to Israelites and to foreigners living among you. I am Jehovah your God.«
22 “A mesma lei se aplica tanto aos israelitas de nascimento como aos estrangeiros que vivem entre vocês. Eu sou o S enhor , seu Deus”.
23 When Moses had said this to the people of Israel, they took the man outside the camp and stoned him to death. The people of Israel did what Jehovah commanded Moses.
23 Depois que Moisés transmitiu todas essas instruções aos israelitas, eles levaram o blasfemador para fora do acampamento e o executaram por apedrejamento. Os israelitas fizeram exatamente conforme o S enhor havia ordenado a Moisés.
