1 The men carrying the ark set it inside the tent David had put up for it. They presented burnt offerings and fellowship offerings in Gods presence.
1 Fizeram entrar a arca do Senhor e colocaram-na no meio do pavilhão que para ela Davi tinha levantado, e ofereceram a Deus holocaustos e sacrifícios pacíficos.
2 When David finished sacrificing burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Jehovah.
2 Depois desse oferecimento de holocaustos e sacrifícios pacíficos, Davi abençoou o povo em nome do Senhor.
3 He also distributed to every person in Israel, both men and women, a loaf of bread, a date cake, and a raisin cake.
3 Em seguida, distribuiu a todos os israelitas, homens e mulheres, a cada um, um pão, um pedaço de carne, e um bolo de uvas secas.
4 David appointed some Levites to serve in front of Jehovahs Ark by offering prayers, thanks, and praise to Jehovah the God of Israel.

5 Asaph was the head. Zechariah was second, then Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed Edom, and Jeiel with harps and lyres. Asaph played the cymbals.

7 For the first time David entrusted Asaph and his relatives with the task of singing songs of thanks to Jehovah:

8 Give thanks to Jehovah. Call on his name. Make known among the nations what he has done.

9 Sing to him. Make music to praise him. Meditate on all the miracles he has done.
9 Cantai-lhe hinos e cânticos, anunciai todas as suas maravilhas.
10 Praise his holy name. Let the hearts of those who seek Jehovah rejoice.
10 Gloriai-vos do seu santo nome, rejubile o coração dos que procuram o Senhor.
11 Search for Jehovah and his strength. Always seek his presence.
11 Recorrei ao Senhor e ao seu poder, procurai continuamente sua face.
12 Remember the miracles he performed. And remember the amazing things he did and the judgments he pronounced.
12 Recordai as maravilhas que operou, seus prodígios e os julgamentos por seus lábios proferidos,
13 You are descendants of Israel, his servant. You are descendants of Jacob, his chosen ones.
13 ó descendência de Israel, seu servo, ó filhos de Jacó, seus escolhidos!
14 HE IS JEHOVAH OUR GOD. His judgments are pronounced throughout the earth.
14 É ele o Senhor, nosso Deus; suas sentenças comandam a terra inteira.
15 Remember his promise for a very long time, the word that he commanded for a thousand generations!
15 Recordai sem cessar suas alianças, a palavra que empenhou a mil gerações,
16 Remember the covenant that he made to Abraham, and his sworn promise to Isaac.
16 que garantiu a Abraão e jurou a Isaac,
17 He confirmed it as a law for Jacob, as a long lasting covenant to Israel.

18 He said: »I will give you Canaan. It is your share of the inheritance.«

19 While they were few in number a small group of foreigners lived in that land.
19 Quando não passavam de um reduzido número, minoria insignificante e estrangeiros na terra,
20 They wandered from nation to nation and from one kingdom to another.
20 e andavam errantes de nação em nação, de reino em reino,
21 He did not permit anyone to oppress them. He warned kings about them:
21 não permitiu que ninguém os oprimisse e castigou os reis por causa deles:
22 »Do not touch my anointed ones or harm my prophets.«

23 Sing to Jehovah, all the earth! Day after day announce that Jehovah saves his people.

24 Tell people about his glory! Tell all the nations about his miracles.
24 Proclamai às nações a sua glória, a todos os povos as suas maravilhas.
25 JEHOVAH IS GREAT! He should be highly praised. He should be reverenced held in awerespected more than all other gods.
25 Porque o Senhor é grande e digno de todo o louvor, o único temível de todos os deuses,
26 This is because all the gods of the nations are useless idols while Jehovah created the heavens.
26 Porque os deuses dos povos, sejam quais forem, não passam de ídolos; mas foi o Senhor quem criou os céus.
27 Splendor and majesty are in his presence. Strength and joy are where he is.
27 Em seu semblante, a majestade e a beleza, em sua Morada, o poder e a felicidade.
28 Appreciate Jehovahs glory and power you families of the nations. Ascribe to Jehovah glory and strength.
28 Tributai ao Senhor, famílias dos povos, tributai ao Senhor a glória e a honra,
29 Ascribe to Jehovah the glory his name deserves. Bring an offering, and come to him. Worship Jehovah in his holy splendor.
29 tributai ao Senhor a glória devida ao seu nome. Trazei oferendas e chegai à sua presença, adorai o Senhor com ornamentos sagrados.
30 Tremble in his presence, all the earth! The earth stands firm. It cannot be moved.
30 Diante dele estremece a terra inteira e não vacila, porque ele a sustém.
31 Let the heavens rejoice and the earth be glad. Say to the nations: »JEHOVAH RULES AS KING!«
31 Alegrem-se os céus e exulte a terra, e confessem as nações: O Senhor é rei.
32 Let the sea and everything in it roar like thunder. Let the fields and everything in them rejoice.
32 Retumbe o oceano e o que ele contém, regozijem-se os campos e tudo o que existe neles.
33 Then the trees in the forest will sing with joy in the presence of Jehovah when he comes to judge the earth.
33 Jubilem as árvores da floresta com a presença do Senhor, pois ele vem para governar a terra.
34 Give thanks to Jehovah because he is good, because his mercy endures forever!
34 Louvai o Senhor, porque ele é bom, porque a sua misericórdia é eterna.
35 Say: »Rescue us, O God our Salvation. Gather us and save us from the nations that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise.«
35 Dizei: Salvai-nos ó Deus de nossa salvação, e recolhei-nos e salvai-nos de entre as nações: para que possamos celebrar o vosso santo nome e ter a satisfação de vos louvar.
36 Thanks be to Jehovah, God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Then all the people said »amen« and praised Jehovah.
36 Bendito seja o Senhor, Deus de Israel, pelos séculos dos séculos! E todo o povo disse: Amém! e Louvai o Senhor!
37 David left Asaph and his relatives to serve continually in front of the Ark of Jehovahs Covenant, as the daily work required.
37 Davi deixou ali, diante da arca da aliança do Senhor, Asaf e seus irmãos para fazerem continuamente o serviço diante da arca, segundo o seu dever de cada dia;
38 David also left Obed Edom and sixty-eight of his relatives to serve there. Obed Edom Jeduthuns son and Hosah were to be gatekeepers.

39 David left Zadok and his priestly relatives to serve in Jehovahs Tent at the place of worship in Gibeon.

40 They were ordered to sacrifice burnt offerings to Jehovah. This happened on the altar of burnt offerings continually, morning and evening, as written in the Law of Jehovah that he gave Israel.
40 para oferecer holocaustos ao Senhor, dia a dia, pela manhã e pela tarde, sobre o altar dos holocaustos, e para cumprir tudo que está escrito na lei que o Senhor deu a Israel.
41 With Zadok and his relatives were Heman, Jeduthun, and the rest of the Levites who had been selected. They were chosen by name, to give thanks to Jehovah by singing, because His mercy endures forever.
41 Com eles estavam Hemã, Iditum e os outros que tinham sido escolhidos e designados nominalmente para louvar o Senhor, porque sua misericórdia é eterna.
42 Also, Heman and Jeduthun played trumpets, cymbals, and the other musical instruments that accompany sacred songs. Jeduthuns sons were stationed at the gate.

43 Then all the people went home. David went back to bless his family.
43 Depois, todo o povo retornou para suas casas; e Davi voltou para abençoar sua casa.
