1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Sacuatjin rë ngu quihndinda xi meje rë suvá lechi ne, cuatjin catamameje nuju cjua rë Nina, cojo sa xi nguyëjë rë xi tivisehen nuju cjua jan ne, tuxaha sa cjuatacun nuju hisca xi cuetjuntjun.
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 Cuatjin nihñu, sa xi ha camachaya nuju xi Nai naja ne, jercu ndaja me.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 Nihñutiñu tsëhë me ta me vëhë ne, quicun me. Me vëhë ne, sacuaha ngu ndyojo xi handasa catsitjungui xuta ne, peru xi cuma rë Nina ne, hatuxa catuxijin rë hacuaha jercu vengui chjí rë.

5 Hacuaha ngayujun ni ne, sacuaha ndyojo xi quicun ne, tuhun cahndë́ xi cjuaha nuju Nina, cojo sa xi cuma ngayun sacuaha ngu yungun hiscan xi nechunxun, hane satëxa nuju nihñu xa rë Nina sacuaha nahmi, xi tuhun cjuandaja nuju xcun Nina. Hane yëjë ni cjuandaja vëhë ne, chuya rë Nina ngatsë rë Jesucristu.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Xcun xujun rë Nina ne, cuitjin camahindu cjua xi cachja Nina:
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Hane xi cuma nuju ngayujun ni xi mangutacun cojo Jesucristu jan ne, jercu vengui chjí rë me. Peru xi cuma rë xuta xi manguaaincacun me ne, cuetjucaa cjua xi camahindu xcun xujun rë Nina xi cuitjin chja:
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Hacuaha cuetjucaa cjua vihi:
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Ngayujun ni ne, ngu tjë xi cavaxijin Nina ngayun, sacuaha nahmi xi fahacuenda yëjë ni xi tsëhë Nina ngayun, xuta xi hatuxa siuxin rë Nina ngayun, hacuaha xuta xi hatuxa tsëhë Nina ngayun. Cuatjin cun ngayujun ni, cojo sa xi ninguitsujun cjuandajyihi xi chja tsëhë yëjë ni cjuandaja xi casahmi Nina, me xi cajindaya nuju xi cavetjunxun tsëhë ngajñi jñu, xi cuisuhun ngajñi hasen ndajyihi rë me.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Hatsëë ne, hisca hacuiin xuta rë Nina ngayun, peru quihndë ne, xuta rë Nina camá ngayun. Hatsëë ne, hisca tsajin camayuma rë Nina ngayun, peru quihndë ne, camayuma rë me ngayun.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Ngayujun ni xi sacuaha xuta ngu nangui xi nechunyun ndiya nguehe ngasunhndë vihi ne, vinchangë nuju xi nechunxun tsëhë yëjë ni cjuatsehen xi fehya rë xahasen naja, tsëhë xi sacuaha ngayaan xi vixcaan cojo xingueen ne, cuatjin rë yëjë ni cjuatsehen vëhë cojo hasen naja.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Ndaja nihñu ngajñi rë xuta xi hvíin me Nina, cojo sa xi me xi cuacun vë ne, handasa choho cuichja me tsujun quihndë sacuaha xi ngayun xuta tsehen má yun ne, peru scuëë me yëjë ni cjuandaja xi tinihñu, sehe sahmi jyë sahmi hnga me Nina nixtin hya xi cjuahataha Nina jyë́ rë xingu xingu me.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Ngatsë rë Nai naja ne, tinuhyun tsëhë yëjë ni xutaxa rë ngasunhndë vihi, há xi me xi matitjun camahani,

14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Cuatjin nihñu ta, tsëhë xi Nina ne, meje rë me xi cjuandaja xi ngayun nihñu ne, sahmi xi xuta xi hvíin ne, cumaji choho cuichja me tsujun.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Tángun cojo ngasunhndë nuju sacuaha xuta xi tsajin camahani mé xi tjin tsavi xi cuma rë me, peru hacuiin ngatsë rë vëhë xi nihñu ngu xcusun cjuatsehen ta, xi meje rë ne, tángun cojo ngasunhndë nuju sacuaha xi mosu hndixahan rë Nina má ngayujun ni.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Chjuhunrcun ni yëjë xuta. Nihmu tacún yëjë ni xi hacuaha ladu rë Jesucristu me, meje rë xi rcún Nina, hacuaha chjuhunrcun me xi matitjun camahani.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Ngayujun ni mosu hndixahan ne, tinuhyun tsëhë nai nuju, hacuaha chjuhunrcun me, hacuiin suvá me xi xuta ndaja cojo me xi jeya ta cojo me xi hngacacun.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Cuatjin nihñu ta jercu chuya rë Nina sacuatjin rë ngu me xi caa rë cojo ngu cjuañihi ngatsë rë xi vihndë me tsëhë Nina, handasa tsajin jyë́ rë me xi cuatjin vatju me má.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Sa xi ngayun choho nihñu hane má yun castigu ne, ¿yo ndaja cuichja tsujun xi scaa nuju castigu jan? Peru sa xi ngayun ndaja nihñu hane má ngayun castigu ne, jercu chuya rë Nina sa xi ngayun scaa nuju.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Nina ne, cajindaya me ngayun xi cuatjin cuatjun cuma. Cristu ne, cavatju me cjuañihi camá ngatsë nuju, hane cuatjin cavejña me ntsacu, cojo sa xi ngayun nihñu sacuatjin casahmi me.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Me vëhë ne, hisca ngu cjuatsehen casahmii me, hacuaha hisca ngu cjuandacha ne, cavetjiin cachja me.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Hya xi xuta choho cachja cojo rë me ne, me vëhë ne, hacuiin choho catsicuya me tsëhë xuta jan. Hya xi cavatju me cjuañihi ne, hacuiin cavincharcun me xuta jan ta cavetahacacun me Nina, me xi tsichuva rë xuta cojo cjuatacun rë me cojo cjuaquixi.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Suvá Cristu jan ne, cavaha me yëjë cjuatsehen naja ngajñi yojo rë me, ngajan xcun cru, cojo sa xi cuma cuetjunxen tsëhë cjuatsehen, hane cuma cuangentjenguen ndiya rë cjuaquixi. Ngayun ne, cavetjuntjun ngatsë rë cjuahmu xi me vëhë cavatju me camá.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Titjun ne, sacuaha chu tsánga xi cachaja tjin nuju ngayun, peru quihndë ne, cavuyun nga ladu rë Cristu, me xi fahacuenda nuju sacuaha ngu xuta xi fahacuenda rë chu tsánga, cuatjin sahmi nuju me cuidadu.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
