1 And it came to pass on the eighth day that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;
1 E aconteceu, ao dia oitavo, que Moisés chamou a Arão e seus filhos, e os anciãos de Israel,
2 And he said unto Aaron, Take unto thyself a young calf for a sin–offering, and a ram for a burnt–offering, without blemish, and bring them near before the Lord.
2 E disse a Arão: Toma um bezerro, para expiação do pecado, e um carneiro para holocausto, sem defeito; e traze-os perante o Senhor.
3 And unto the children of Israel shalt thou speak, saying, Take ye a he–goat for a sin–offering; and a calf and a sheep, both of the first year, without blemish, for a burnt–offering;
3 Depois falarás aos filhos de Israel, dizendo: Tomai um bode para expiação do pecado, e um bezerro, e um cordeiro de um ano, sem defeito, para holocausto;
4 Also a bullock and a ram for peace–offerings, to sacrifice before the Lord, and a meat–offering mingled with oil; for this day the Lord will appear unto you.
4 Também um boi e um carneiro por sacrifício pacífico, para sacrificar perante o Senhor, e oferta de alimentos, amassada com azeite; porquanto hoje o Senhor vos aparecerá.
5 And they brought that which Moses had commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the Lord.
5 Então trouxeram o que ordenara Moisés, diante da tenda da congregação, e chegou-se toda a congregação e se pôs perante o Senhor.
6 And Moses said, This thing which the Lord hath commanded shall ye do: and then will the glory of the Lord appear unto you.
6 E disse Moisés: Esta é a coisa que o Senhor ordenou que fizésseis; e a glória do Senhor vos aparecerá.
7 And Moses said unto Aaron, Draw near unto the altar, and prepare thy sin–offering, and thy burnt–offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the people; and prepare the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the Lord hath commanded.
7 E disse Moisés a Arão: Chega-te ao altar, e faze a tua expiação de pecado e o teu holocausto; e faze expiação por ti e pelo povo; depois faze a oferta do povo, e faze expiação por eles, como ordenou o Senhor.
8 And Aaron drew near unto the altar; and he slew the calf of the sin–offering, which was for himself.
8 Então Arão se chegou ao altar, e degolou o bezerro da expiação que era por si mesmo.
9 And the sons of Aaron brought the blood unto him; and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar; and the remaining blood he poured out at the bottom of the altar.
9 E os filhos de Arão trouxeram-lhe o sangue, e molhou o seu dedo no sangue, e o pôs sobre as pontas do altar; e o restante do sangue derramou à base do altar.
10 And the fat, and the kidneys, and the midriff from the liver of the sin–offering, he burnt upon the altar; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
10 Mas a gordura, e os rins, e o redenho do fígado de expiação do pecado, queimou sobre o altar, como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés.
11 And the flesh and the hide he burnt with fire without the camp.
11 Porém a carne e o couro queimou com fogo fora do arraial.
12 And he slew the burnt–offering; and the sons of Aaron presented unto him the blood, and he sprinkled it upon the altar round about.
12 Depois degolou o holocausto, e os filhos de Arão lhe entregaram o sangue, e espargiu-o sobre o altar em redor.
13 And the burnt–offering they presented unto him, in its proper pieces, together with the head: and he burnt them upon the altar.
13 Também lhe entregaram o holocausto nos seus pedaços, com a cabeça; e queimou-o sobre o altar.
14 And he washed the inwards and the legs; and he burnt them upon the burnt–offering on the altar.
14 E lavou a fressura e as pernas, e as queimou sobre o holocausto no altar.
15 And he brought near the people’s offering; and he took the goat of the sin–offering which belonged to the people, and slew it, and made atonement with its blood, as the first.
15 Depois fez chegar a oferta do povo, e tomou o bode da expiação do pecado, que era pelo povo, e o degolou, e o preparou por expiação do pecado, como o primeiro.
16 And he brought near the burnt–offering, and offered it according to the prescribed manner.
16 Fez também chegar o holocausto, e ofereceu-o segundo o rito.
17 And he brought near the meat–offering, and he filled his hand thereof, and burnt it upon the altar, beside the burnt–sacrifice of the morning.
17 E fez chegar a oferta de alimentos, e a sua mão encheu dela, e queimou-a sobre o altar, além do holocausto da manhã.
18 He slew also the bullock and the ram, the sacrifice of peace–offering which belonged to the people: and the sons of Aaron presented unto him the blood, and he sprinkled it upon the altar round about,
18 Depois degolou o boi e o carneiro em sacrifício pacífico, que era pelo povo; e os filhos de Arão entregaram-lhe o sangue, que espargiu sobre o altar em redor.
19 Also the fat of the bullock, and of the ram, the rump, and that which covereth the inwards, and the kidneys, and the midriff of the liver;
19 Como também a gordura do boi e do carneiro, a cauda, e o que cobre a fressura, e os rins, e o redenho do fígado.
20 And they put these pieces of fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat upon the altar;
20 E puseram a gordura sobre os peitos, e queimou a gordura sobre o altar;
21 And with the breasts and the right shoulder Aaron made a waving before the Lord; as Moses had commanded.
21 Mas os peitos e a espádua direita Arão ofereceu por oferta movida perante o Senhor, como Moisés tinha ordenado.
22 And Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people, and blessed them; and came down after he had offered the sin–offering, and the burnt–offering, and peace–offerings.
22 Depois Arão levantou as suas mãos ao povo e o abençoou; e desceu, havendo feito a expiação do pecado, e o holocausto, e a oferta pacífica.
23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came then out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the people.
23 Então entraram Moisés e Arão na tenda da congregação; depois saíram, e abençoaram ao povo; e a glória do Senhor apareceu a todo o povo.
24 And there came forth a fire from before the Lord, and consumed upon the altar the burnt–offering and the fat; and when all the people saw this, they shouted, and fell on their faces.
24 Porque o fogo saiu de diante do Senhor, e consumiu o holocausto e a gordura, sobre o altar; o que vendo todo o povo, jubilaram e caíram sobre as suas faces.
