1 And the divisions of the sons of Aaron were: The sons of Aaron were Nadab, and Abihu, El’azar, and Ithamar.
1 Quanto aos filhos de Arão, foram eles divididos por seus turnos. Filhos de Arão: Nadabe, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.
2 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and they had no children: and El’azar and Ithamar became priests.
2 Nadabe e Abiú morreram antes de seu pai e não tiveram filhos; Eleazar e Itamar oficiavam como sacerdotes.
3 And David divided them off with Zadok of the sons of El’azar’, and Achimelech of the sons of Ithamar, to their office in their service.
3 Davi, com Zadoque, dos filhos de Eleazar, e com Aimeleque, dos filhos de Itamar, os dividiu segundo os seus deveres no seu ministério.
4 And the sons of El’azar were found more numerous in the chiefs of males than the sons of Ithamar; and they divided them accordingly. Of the sons of El’azar there were sixteen chiefs of the family divisions, and of the sons of Ithamar, eight for their family divisions.
4 E achou-se que eram mais os filhos de Eleazar entre os chefes de famílias do que os filhos de Itamar, quando os dividiram; dos filhos de Eleazar, dezesseis chefes de famílias; dos filhos de Itamar, oito.
5 And they divided them off by lot, both the first and the last; for the governors of the sanctuary, and governors of the house of God, were from the sons of El’azar, and from the sons of Ithamar.
5 Repartiram-nos por sortes, uns como os outros; porque havia príncipes do santuário e príncipes de Deus, tanto dos filhos de Eleazar como dos filhos de Itamar.
6 And Shema’yah the son of Nethanel the scribe, one of the Levites, wrote them down before the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Achimelech the son of Ebyathar, and the chiefs of the families of the priests and Levites: one family division being drawn of El’azar, and one being equally drawn of Ithamar.
6 Semaías, escrivão, filho de Natanael, levita, registrou-os na presença do rei, dos príncipes, do sacerdote Zadoque, de Aimeleque, filho de Abiatar, e dos cabeças das famílias dos sacerdotes e dos levitas; sendo escolhidas as famílias, por sorte, alternadamente, para Eleazar e para Itamar.
7 And there came out the first lot for Jehoyarib, for Jeda’yah the second,
7 Saiu a primeira sorte a Jeoiaribe; a segunda, a Jedaías;
8 For Charim the third, for Se’orim the fourth,
8 a terceira, a Harim; a quarta, a Seorim;
9 For Malkiyah the fifth, for Miyamin the sixth.
9 a quinta, a Malquias; a sexta, a Miamim;
10 For Hakkoz the seventh, for Abiyah the eighth,
10 a sétima, a Hacoz; a oitava, a Abias;
11 For Jeshua’ the ninth, for Shechanyahu the tenth,
11 a nona, a Jesua; a décima, a Secanias;
12 For Elyashib the eleventh, for Jakim the twelfth,
12 a undécima, a Eliasibe; a duodécima, a Jaquim;
13 For Chuppah the thirteenth, for Jeshehah the fourteenth,
13 a décima terceira, a Hupá; a décima quarta, a Jesebeabe;
14 For Bilgah the fifteenth, for Immer the sixteenth,
14 a décima quinta, a Bilga; a décima sexta, a Imer;
15 For Chezir the seventeenth, for Happizzez the eighteenth,
15 a décima sétima, a Hezir; a décima oitava, a Hapises;
16 For Pethachyah the nineteenth, for Ezekiel the twentieth.
16 a décima nona, a Petaías; a vigésima, a Jeezquel;
17 For Jachin the one and twentieth, for Gamul the two and twentieth,
17 a vigésima primeira, a Jaquim; a vigésima segunda, a Gamul;
18 For Delayahu the three and twentieth, for Ma’azyahu the four and twentieth.
18 a vigésima terceira, a Delaías; a vigésima quarta, a Maazias.
19 This was their office in their service to come into the house of the Lord, according to the manner prescribed to them, under the supervision of Aaron their father, as the Lord the God of Israel had commanded him.
19 O ofício destes no seu ministério era entrar na Casa do Senhor , segundo a maneira estabelecida por Arão, seu pai, como o Senhor , Deus de Israel, lhe ordenara.
20 And of the rest of the sons of Levi there were, of the sons of ‘Amram: Shubael. Of the sons of Shubael: Jechdeyahu.
20 Eis os chefes do restante dos filhos de Levi: dos filhos de Anrão, Subael; dos filhos de Subael, Jedias;
21 Concerning Rechabyahu, of the sons of Rechabyahu the chief was Yishiyah.
21 dos filhos de Reabias, Issias, o chefe;
22 Of the Yisharites was Shelomoth: of the sons of Shelomoth was Jachath.
22 dos isaritas, Selomite; dos filhos de Selomite, Jaate;
23 And the sons of Hebron: Jeriyah, Amaryahu the second, Jachaziel the third, Jekam’am the fourth.
23 dos filhos de Hebrom, Jerias, o primeiro, Amarias, o segundo, Jaaziel, o terceiro, Jecameão, o quarto;
24 Of the sons of ‘Uzziel, Michah: of the sons of Michah, Shamir.
24 dos filhos de Uziel, Mica; dos filhos de Mica, Samir;
25 The brother of Michah was Yishiyah; of the sons of Yishiyah, Zecharyahu.
25 o irmão de Mica, Issias; dos filhos de Issias, Zacarias;
26 The sons of Merari were Machli and Mushi: the sons of Ja’aziyahu, Beno.
26 dos filhos de Merari, Mali e Musi; dos filhos de Jaazias, Beno;
27 The sons of Merari by Ja’aziyahu: Beno, and Shoham, and Zaccur, and ‘Ibri.
27 dos filhos de Merari, da parte de Jaazias: Beno, Soão, Zacur e Ibri;
28 Of Machli: El’azar, who had no sons.
28 de Mali, Eleazar, que não teve filhos;
29 Of Kish: The son of Kish was Jerachmeel.
29 dos filhos de Quis, Jerameel;
30 And the sons of Mushi were Machli, and ‘Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites after their family divisions.
30 dos filhos de Musi, Mali, Éder e Jerimote. Foram estes os filhos dos levitas, segundo as suas famílias.
31 These likewise cast lots in the same manner as their brethren the sons of Aaron in the presence of king David, and Zadok, and Achimelech, and the chiefs of the families of the priests and Levites, even the principal of the families equally with his youngest brother.
31 Também estes, tanto os chefes das famílias como os seus irmãos menores, como fizeram os outros seus irmãos, filhos de Arão, lançaram sortes na presença do rei Davi, de Zadoque, de Aimeleque e dos cabeças das famílias dos sacerdotes e dos levitas.
