1 For the Leader. A Song, a Psalm. Shout unto God, all the earth;
1 Aclamem a Deus, todos os habitantes da terra!
2 Sing praises unto the glory of His name; make His praise glorious.
2 Cantem a glória de seu nome, anunciem ao mundo quão glorioso ele é.
3 Say unto God: 'How tremendous is Thy work! Through the greatness of Thy power shall Thine enemies dwindle away before Thee.
3 Digam a Deus: “Como são notáveis os teus feitos! Teus inimigos rastejam diante do teu grande poder.
4 All the earth shall worship Thee, and shall sing praises unto Thee; they shall sing praises to Thy name.' Selah
4 Tudo que há na terra te adorará; cantará louvores a ti e anunciará teu nome em cânticos”. Interlúdio
5 Come, and see the works of God; He is terrible in His doing toward the children of men.
5 Venham e vejam as obras de Deus! Que feitos notáveis ele realiza em favor das pessoas!
6 He turned the sea into dry land; they went through the river on foot; there let us rejoice in Him!
6 Abriu um caminho seco pelo meio do mar, e seu povo atravessou a pé; ali nos alegramos nele.
7 Who ruleth by His might for ever; His eyes keep watch upon the nations; let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah
7 Com seu grande poder, ele governa para sempre e vigia cada movimento das nações; que nenhum rebelde se levante contra ele. Interlúdio
8 Bless our God, ye peoples, and make the voice of His praise to be heard;
8 Que o mundo inteiro celebre nosso Deus e cante louvores a ele em alta voz!
9 Who hath set our soul in life, and suffered not our foot to be moved,
9 Nossa vida está em suas mãos; ele não permite que nossos pés tropecem.
10 For Thou, O God, hast tried us; Thou hast refined us, as silver is refined.
10 Tu nos puseste à prova, ó Deus, e nos purificaste como prata.
11 Thou didst bring us into the hold; Thou didst lay constraint upon our loins.
11 Tu nos prendeste em tua armadilha e colocaste sobre nossas costas o fardo da opressão.
12 Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; but Thou didst bring us out unto abundance.
12 Permitiste que inimigos nos pisoteassem; passamos pelo fogo e pela água, mas tu nos trouxeste a um lugar de grande fartura.
13 I will come into Thy house with burnt-offerings, I will perform unto Thee my vows,
13 Agora venho ao teu templo com holocaustos para cumprir os votos que fiz a ti,
14 Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in distress.
14 sim, os votos sagrados que fiz quando estava em grande aflição.
15 I will offer unto Thee burnt-offerings of fatlings, with the sweet smoke of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah
15 Por isso te apresentarei holocaustos: meus melhores carneiros, como aroma agradável, e um sacrifício de novilhos e cabritos. Interlúdio
16 Come, and hearken, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what He hath done for my soul.
16 Venham e ouçam, todos vocês que temem a Deus, e eu lhes contarei o que ele fez por mim.
17 I cried unto Him with my mouth, and He was extolled with my tongue.
17 Pois a ele clamei por socorro e o louvei enquanto falava.
18 If I had regarded iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not hear;
18 Se eu não tivesse confessado o pecado em meu coração, o Senhor não teria ouvido.
19 But verily God hath heard; He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
19 Mas Deus ouviu! Ele atendeu à minha oração.
20 Blessed be God, who hath not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me.
20 Louvado seja Deus, que não rejeitou minha oração, nem afastou de mim o seu amor.
