1 And Benjamin begot Bela his first-born, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third;
1 Benjamim foi pai de cinco filhos. São estes os seus nomes, por ordem de idade: Belá, Asbel, Aará,

3 And Bela had sons, Addar, and Gera, and Abihud;

6 And these are the sons of Ehud--these are the heads of fathers' houses of the inhabitants of Geba, and they were carried captive to Manahath;

21 and Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath, were the sons of Shimei.

22 And Ishpan, and Ebed, and Eliel;

23 and Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan;

24 and Hananiah, and Elam, and Anthothiah;
24 Hananias, Elão, Antotias,
25 and Iphdeiah, and Penuel, were the sons of Shashak.

26 And Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah;
26 Entre os descendentes de Jeroão estavam: Sanserai, Searias, Atalias,
27 and Jaareshiah, and Elijah, and Zichri, were the sons of Jeroham.
27 Jaaresias, Elias e Zicri.
28 These were heads of fathers' houses throughout their generations, chief men; these dwelt in Jerusalem.
28 Estes foram os primeiros chefes de famílias que moraram em Jerusalém e os seus principais descendentes.
29 And in Gibeon there dwelt the father of Gibeon ,Jeiel , whose wife's name was Maacah;
29 Jeiel fundou a cidade de Gibeão e ficou morando ali. A sua mulher se chamava Maacá,
30 and his first-born son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab;
30 e o seu filho mais velho, Abdom. Os seus outros filhos foram: Zur, Quis, Baal, Ner, Nadabe,
31 and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zecher.

32 And Mikloth begot Shimeah. And they also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, over against their brethren.
32 e Miclote, o pai de Simeia. Os seus descendentes moravam em Jerusalém, perto das outras famílias do seu grupo de famílias.
33 And Ner begot Kish; and Kish begot Saul; and Saul begot Jonathan, and Malchi-shua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal.
33 Ner foi pai de Quis, e Quis foi pai do rei Saul. Saul foi pai de quatro filhos: Jônatas, Malquisua, Abinadabe e Esbaal .
34 And the son of Jonathan was Merib-baal; and Merib-baal begot Micah.
34 Jônatas foi pai de Meribe-Baal , que foi pai de Mica.
35 And the sons of Micah; Pithon, and Melech, and Taarea, and Ahaz.
35 Mica foi pai de quatro filhos: Pitom, Meleque, Tareia e Acaz.
36 And Ahaz begot Jehoaddah; and Jehoaddah begot Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begot Moza;
36 Acaz foi pai de Jeoada, e Jeoada foi pai de três filhos: Alemete, Azmavete e Zinri. Zinri foi pai de Mosa,
37 and Moza begot Binea; Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
37 Mosa foi pai de Bineá, Bineá foi pai de Rafa, Rafa foi pai de Eleasa, e Eleasa foi pai de Azel.
38 And Azel had six sons, whose names are these: Azrikam, Bocru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.
38 Azel foi pai de seis filhos: Azricã, Bocru, Ismael, Searias, Obadias e Hanã.
39 And the sons of Eshek his brother: Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
39 Eseque, o irmão de Azel, foi pai de três filhos: Ulão, Jeús e Elifelete.
40 And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valour, archers; and had many sons, and sons' sons, a hundred and fifty. All these were of the sons of Benjamin.
40 Os filhos de Ulão foram famosos soldados e atiradores de flechas. Ulão teve cento e cinquenta filhos e netos. Todos estes foram membros da tribo de Benjamim.
