1 Let him kisse me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy loue is better then wine.
1 Este é o cântico dos cânticos de Salomão. A Amada
2 Because of the sauour of thy good ointments thy name is as an ointment powred out: therefore the virgins loue thee.
2 Beije-me, beije-me mais uma vez, pois seu amor é mais doce que o vinho.
3 Drawe me: we will runne after thee: the King hath brought me into his chabers: we will reioyce and be glad in thee: we will remember thy loue more then wine: the righteous do loue thee.
3 Como é agradável seu perfume; seu nome é como a fragrância que se espalha. Não é de admirar que todas as moças o amem!
4 I am blacke, O daughters of Ierusalem, but comely, as the tentes of Kedar, and as the curtaines of Salomon.
4 Leve-me com você; venha, vamos depressa! O rei me trouxe ao quarto dele. As mulheres de Jerusalém Ó rei, estamos alegres e felizes por sua causa! Celebraremos seu amor mais que o vinho. A Amada Com razão elas o amam.
5 Regard ye me not because I am blacke: for the sunne hath looked vpon mee. The sonnes of my mother were angry against mee: they made me the keeper of ye vines: but I kept not mine owne vine.
5 Sou morena e bela, ó mulheres de Jerusalém; morena como as tendas de Quedar, bela como as cortinas de Salomão.
6 Shewe me, O thou, whome my soule loueth, where thou feedest, where thou liest at noone: for why should I be as she that turneth aside to the flockes of thy companions?
6 Não me olhem assim porque sou morena; o sol me escureceu a pele. Meus irmãos se zangaram comigo e me obrigaram a cuidar de seus vinhedos; de mim mesma, de minha videira, não pude cuidar.
7 If thou knowe not, O thou the fairest among women, get thee foorth by the steps of the flocke, and feede thy kiddes by the tents of the shepheards.
7 Diga-me, meu amor, aonde levará seu rebanho hoje? Onde fará suas ovelhas descansarem ao meio-dia? Por que eu andaria sem rumo, como uma prostituta, entre seus amigos e os rebanhos deles? O Amado
8 I haue compared thee, O my loue, to the troupe of horses in the charets of Pharaoh.
8 Se você não sabe, mais bela de todas as mulheres, siga a trilha de meu rebanho e leve seus cabritos para pastar junto às tendas dos pastores.
9 Thy cheekes are comely with rowes of stones, and thy necke with chaines.
9 Você é cativante, minha querida, como uma égua entre os cavalos do faraó.
10 We will make thee borders of golde with studdes of siluer.
10 Como são belas suas faces; seus brincos realçam sua beleza! Como é lindo seu pescoço, enfeitado com um colar de joias!
11 Whiles the King was at his repast, my spikenard gaue the smelll thereof.
11 Faremos para você brincos de ouro com enfeites de prata. A Amada
12 My welbeloued is as a bundle of myrrhe vnto me: he shall lie betweene my breasts.
12 O rei está deitado em seu sofá, encantado com a fragrância de meu perfume.
13 My welbeloued is as a cluster of camphire vnto me in the vines of Engedi.
13 Meu amado é como uma delicada bolsa de mirra que repousa entre meus seios.
14 My loue, beholde, thou art faire: beholde, thou art faire: thine eyes are like the doues.
14 É como um ramo de flores de hena dos vinhedos de En-Gedi. O Amado
15 My welbeloued, beholde, thou art faire and pleasant: also our bed is greene:
15 Como você é linda, minha querida, como você é linda! Seus olhos são como pombas. A Amada
16 The beames of our house are cedars, our rafters are of firre.
16 Como você é belo, meu amor, como você é encantador! A grama macia é nosso leito;

17 os ramos perfumados do cedro são as vigas de nossa casa, e os pinheiros aromáticos, os caibros do telhado.
