1 Let him kisse me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy loue is better then wine.
1 Cântico dos cânticos de Salomão. Esposa
2 Because of the sauour of thy good ointments thy name is as an ointment powred out: therefore the virgins loue thee.
2 Beije-me com os beijos de sua boca! Porque o seu amor é melhor do que o vinho.
3 Drawe me: we will runne after thee: the King hath brought me into his chabers: we will reioyce and be glad in thee: we will remember thy loue more then wine: the righteous do loue thee.
3 Suave é o aroma dos seus perfumes; como perfume derramado é o seu nome. Por isso, as donzelas o amam.
4 I am blacke, O daughters of Ierusalem, but comely, as the tentes of Kedar, and as the curtaines of Salomon.
4 Leve-me com você! Vamos depressa! O rei me introduziu nos seus aposentos. Coro Exultaremos e nos alegraremos por sua causa; do seu amor nos lembraremos, mais do que do vinho. Não é sem razão que o amam. Esposa
5 Regard ye me not because I am blacke: for the sunne hath looked vpon mee. The sonnes of my mother were angry against mee: they made me the keeper of ye vines: but I kept not mine owne vine.
5 Eu sou morena e bonita, ó filhas de Jerusalém, como as tendas de Quedar, como as cortinas de Salomão.
6 Shewe me, O thou, whome my soule loueth, where thou feedest, where thou liest at noone: for why should I be as she that turneth aside to the flockes of thy companions?
6 Não olhem para a minha pele morena, porque o sol me queimou. Os filhos de minha mãe se indignaram contra mim e me puseram por guarda das vinhas; mas a minha vinha, que me pertence, não a guardei.
7 If thou knowe not, O thou the fairest among women, get thee foorth by the steps of the flocke, and feede thy kiddes by the tents of the shepheards.
7 Diga-me, ó amado de minha alma: Onde você apascenta o seu rebanho? Onde você o faz repousar ao meio-dia? Diga, para que eu não ande vagando junto ao rebanho dos seus companheiros. Esposo
8 I haue compared thee, O my loue, to the troupe of horses in the charets of Pharaoh.
8 Se você, a mais bela das mulheres, não o sabe, siga as pisadas dos rebanhos e apascente os seus cabritos junto às tendas dos pastores.
9 Thy cheekes are comely with rowes of stones, and thy necke with chaines.

10 We will make thee borders of golde with studdes of siluer.
10 O seu rosto fica lindo com os enfeites, o seu pescoço, com os colares.
11 Whiles the King was at his repast, my spikenard gaue the smelll thereof.

12 My welbeloued is as a bundle of myrrhe vnto me: he shall lie betweene my breasts.
12 Enquanto o rei está assentado à sua mesa, o meu nardo exala o seu perfume.
13 My welbeloued is as a cluster of camphire vnto me in the vines of Engedi.
13 O meu amado é para mim como um sachê de mirra, posto entre os meus seios.
14 My loue, beholde, thou art faire: beholde, thou art faire: thine eyes are like the doues.
14 O meu amado é para mim como um ramalhete de flores de hena nas vinhas de En-Gedi. Esposo
15 My welbeloued, beholde, thou art faire and pleasant: also our bed is greene:
15 Como você é bela, minha querida! Como você é bela! Os seus olhos são como pombas. Esposa
16 The beames of our house are cedars, our rafters are of firre.
16 Como você é belo, meu amado! Como é encantador! O nosso leito é de viçosa relva.
