10 Porque Abraão aguardava a cidade que tem fundamentos, da qual Deus é o arquiteto e construtor.

38 O mundo não era digno deles. Andaram errantes pelos desertos, pelos montes, pelas covas, pelos antros da terra.

39 Todos estes, mesmo tendo obtido bom testemunho por meio da fé, não obtiveram a concretização da promessa,
40 of{the God} about of{us}, what more-mastering/controlling[adjective] of{view[ing]-self-ahead}, in-which-place not apart-from of{us} they-may-be-accomplished,
40 porque Deus tinha previsto algo melhor para nós, para que eles, sem nós, não fossem aperfeiçoados.
