1 And the Pharisees and some of the scribes came from Jerusalem together to him.
1 Os fariseus e alguns dos mestres da lei, vindos de Jerusalém, reuniram-se a Jesus e
2 And when they had seen some of his disciples eat bread with unwashen hands, they blamed [them], (or they rebuked them).
2 viram alguns dos seus discípulos comerem com as mãos "impuras", isto é, por lavar.
3 For the Pharisees and all the Jews eat not, [no] but they wash often their hands, holding the traditions of (the) elder men.
3 ( Os fariseus e todos os judeus não comem sem lavar as mãos cerimonialmente, apegando-se, assim, à tradição dos líderes religiosos.
4 And when they turn again from [the] market (or And when they return from the market), they eat not, [no] but they be washed; and many other things there be, that be taken to them to keep (or to obey), as (the) washing of cups, and of water vessels [or of cruets], and of vessels of brass, and of beds.
4 Quando chegam da rua, não comem sem antes se lavarem. E observam muitas outras tradições, tais como o lavar de copos, jarros e vasilhas de metal. )
5 And (the) Pharisees and (the) scribes asked him, and said, Why go not thy disciples after the tradition(s) of (the) elder men, but with unwashen (or unwashed) hands they eat bread?
5 Então os fariseus e os mestres da lei perguntaram a Jesus: "Por que os seus discípulos não vivem de acordo com a tradição dos líderes religiosos, em vez de comerem o alimento com as mãos ‘impuras’? "
6 And he answered, and said to them, Esaias prophesied well of you, hypocrites, (or Isaiah prophesied well about you, hypocrites), as it is written, This people worshippeth me with (their) lips [or This people honoureth me with \+sls (their)\+sls* lips], but their heart is far from me;
6 Ele respondeu: "Bem profetizou Isaías acerca de vocês, hipócritas; como está escrito: ‘Este povo me honra com os lábios, mas o seu coração está longe de mim.
7 and in vain they worship me, teaching the doctrines and the behests [or the commandments] of men.
7 Em vão me adoram; seus ensinamentos não passam de regras ensinadas por homens’.
8 For ye leave the commandment of God, and hold (fast to) the traditions of men, as [the] washing of water vessels [or of cruets], and of cups; and many other things like these ye do.
8 Vocês negligenciam os mandamentos de Deus e se apegam às tradições dos homens".
9 And he said to them, Well ye have made the commandment of God void (or empty and useless), to keep your tradition.
9 E disse-lhes: "Vocês estão sempre encontrando uma boa maneira para pôr de lado os mandamentos de Deus, a fim de obedecer às suas tradições!
10 For Moses said, Worship thy father and thy mother [or Honour thou thy father and thy mother]; and he that curseth father or mother, die he by death.
10 Pois Moisés disse: ‘Honra teu pai e tua mãe’, e ‘quem amaldiçoar seu pai ou sua mãe terá que ser executado’.
11 But ye say, If a man say to (his) father or mother, Corban, that is, Whatever gift is of me, it shall profit to thee, (or Whatever gift is for me, it shall also profit thee);
11 Mas vocês afirmam que se alguém disser a seu pai ou a sua mãe: ‘Qualquer ajuda que vocês poderiam receber de mim é Corbã’, isto é, uma oferta dedicada a Deus,
12 and over [or further\+sls (more)\+sls*] ye suffer not him [to] do anything to (his) father or mother, (and more than this, ye do not allow him to do anything for his father or mother,)
12 vocês o desobrigam de qualquer dever para com seu pai ou sua mãe.
13 and ye break the word of God by your tradition, that ye have given; and ye do many [other] such things.
13 Assim vocês anulam a palavra de Deus, por meio da tradição que vocês mesmos transmitiram. E fazem muitas coisas como essa".
14 And he again called the people, and said to them, Ye all hear me, and understand.
14 Jesus chamou novamente a multidão para junto de si e disse: "Ouçam-me todos e entendam isto:
15 Nothing that is without a man, that entereth into him, may defoul him (or can defile him); but those things that come forth of a man, those it be that defoul a man.
15 não há nada fora do homem que, nele entrando, possa torná-lo ‘impuro’. Pelo contrário, o que sai do homem é que o torna ‘impuro’.
16 If any man have ears of hearing, hear he. [Forsooth if any man have ears to hear, hear he.]
16 Se alguém tem ouvidos para ouvir, ouça! "
17 And when he was entered into an house, from the people, his disciples asked him (about) the parable.
17 Depois de deixar a multidão e entrar em casa, os discípulos lhe pediram explicação da parábola.
18 And he said to them, Ye be unwise also. Understand ye not, that all thing withoutforth that entereth into a man, may not defoul him? (or Do ye not understand, that everything from outside that entereth into a man, cannot defile him?)
18 "Será que vocês também não conseguem entender? ", perguntou-lhes Jesus. "Não percebem que nada que entre no homem pode torná-lo ‘impuro’?
19 for it hath not entered into his heart, but into the womb, and beneath it goeth out, purging all meats (or cleaning out all the food).
19 Porque não entra em seu coração, mas em seu estômago, sendo depois eliminado". Ao dizer isto, Jesus declarou "puros" todos os alimentos.
20 But he said, The things that go out of a man, those defoul a man (or these defile a person).
20 E continuou: "O que sai do homem é que o torna ‘impuro’.
21 For from within, of the heart of men come forth evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, manslayings,
21 Pois do interior do coração dos homens vêm os maus pensamentos, as imoralidades sexuais, os roubos, os homicídios, os adultérios,
22 thefts, avarices, [or covetousness, or over-hard keeping of goods], wickednesses, guile, unchastity, evil eye, blasphemies, pride, folly (or foolishness).
22 as cobiças, as maldades, o engano, a devassidão, a inveja, a calúnia, a arrogância e a insensatez.
23 All these evils come forth from within, and defoul a man (or and defile a person).
23 Todos esses males vêm de dentro e tornam o homem ‘impuro’ ".
24 And Jesus rose up from thence, and went into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon. And he went into an house, and would that no man knew; and he might not be hid. (And Jesus left there, and went to the coasts of Tyre and Sidon. And he went into a house, and wanted that no one knew that he was there; but he could not stay hidden.)
24 Jesus saiu daquele lugar e foi para os arredores de Tiro e de Sidom. Entrou numa casa e não queria que ninguém o soubesse; contudo, não conseguiu manter em segredo a sua presença.
25 For a woman, anon as she heard of him (or as soon as she heard about him), whose daughter had an unclean spirit, entered, and fell down at his feet.
25 De fato, logo que ouviu falar dele, certa mulher, cuja filha estava com um espírito imundo, veio e lançou-se aos seus pés.
26 And the woman was (a) heathen, of the generation of Syrophenician. And she prayed him, that he would cast out a devil from her daughter, (or And she beseeched him, that he would throw a demon out of her daughter).
26 A mulher era grega, siro-fenícia de origem, e rogava a Jesus que expulsasse de sua filha o demônio.
27 And he said to her, Suffer thou (or Allow) that the children be fulfilled first [or Suffer thou that the sons be filled first]; for it is not good to take the bread of children, and give [it] to hounds.
27 Ele lhe disse: "Deixe que primeiro os filhos comam até se fartar; pois não é correto tirar o pão dos filhos e lançá-lo aos cachorrinhos".
28 And she answered, and said to him, Yes, Lord; for little whelps eat under the board of the crumbs of (the) children. (And she answered him, Yes, Lord; but even little pups can eat the crumbs of the children under the table.)
28 Ela respondeu: "Sim, Senhor, mas até os cachorrinhos, debaixo da mesa, comem das migalhas das crianças".
29 And Jesus said to her, Go thou, for this word the fiend (or the demon) went out of thy daughter.
29 Então ele lhe disse: "Por causa desta resposta, você pode ir; o demônio já saiu da sua filha".
30 And when she was gone into her house home [or And when she had gone home/And when she had gone into her house], she found the damsel lying on the bed, and the devil gone out from her. (And when she went home, she found the young girl lying on the bed, and the demon had gone out of her.)
30 Ela foi para casa e encontrou sua filha deitada na cama, e o demônio já a tinha deixado.
31 And again Jesus went out from the coasts of Tyre, and came through Sidon to the sea of Galilee, between the middle of the coasts of Decapolis.
31 A seguir Jesus saiu dos arredores de Tiro e atravessou Sidom, até o mar da Galiléia e a região de Decápolis.
32 And they bring to him a man deaf and dumb, and prayed him to lay his hand/s on him.
32 Ali algumas pessoas lhe trouxeram um homem que era surdo e mal podia falar, suplicando que lhe impusesse as mãos.
33 And he took him aside from the people, and put his fingers into his ears; and he spat, and touched his tongue.
33 Depois de levá-lo à parte, longe da multidão, Jesus colocou os dedos nos ouvidos dele. Em seguida, cuspiu e tocou na língua do homem.
34 And he beheld into heaven, and sorrowed within, and said [to him], Ephphatha, that is, Be thou opened.
34 Então voltou os olhos para os céus e, com um profundo suspiro, disse-lhe: "Efatá! ", que significa: Abra-se.
35 And anon (or at once) his ears were opened, and the band of his tongue was unbound, and he spake rightly.
35 Com isso, os ouvidos do homem se abriram, sua língua ficou livre e ele começou a falar corretamente.
36 And he commanded to them, that they should say to no man; but how much he commanded to them, so much the more they preached,
36 Jesus ordenou-lhes que não o contassem a ninguém. Contudo, quanto mais ele os proibia, mais eles falavam.
37 and by so much the more they wondered, and said, He did well all things, both he hath made deaf men to hear, and dumb men to speak.
37 O povo ficava simplesmente maravilhado e dizia: "Ele faz tudo muito bem. Faz até o surdo ouvir e o mudo falar".
