1 Therefore, my brethren most dearworthy and most desired, my joy and my crown, so stand ye in the Lord, most dear brethren.
1 Portanto, meus amados irmãos, permaneçam firmes no Senhor. Amo vocês e anseio vê-los, pois são minha alegria e minha coroa de recompensa.
2 I pray Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, to understand the same thing in the Lord.
2 Agora, suplico a Evódia e a Síntique: tendo em vista que estão no Senhor, resolvam seu desentendimento.
3 Also I pray and thee, germane fellow, help thou those women that travailed with me in the gospel, (or help those \+em women\+em* who laboured with me in the Gospel or the Good News), with Clement and other mine helpers, whose names be in the book of life.
3 E peço a você, meu fiel colaborador, que ajude essas duas mulheres, pois elas trabalharam arduamente comigo na propagação das boas-novas, e também com Clemente e com meus outros colaboradores, cujos nomes estão escritos no livro da vida.
4 Joy ye in the Lord (for)evermore; again I say, joy ye. (Always have joy in the Lord; again I say, have joy!)
4 Alegrem-se sempre no Senhor. Repito: alegrem-se!
5 Be your patience [or your temperance] known to all men; the Lord is nigh (or the Lord is near).
5 Que todos vejam que vocês são amáveis em tudo que fazem. Lembrem-se de que o Senhor virá em breve.
6 Be ye nothing busy, but in all prayer and beseeching, with doing of thankings, (or with the giving of thanks, or with thanksgiving), be your askings known at God.
6 Não vivam preocupados com coisa alguma; em vez disso, orem a Deus pedindo aquilo de que precisam e agradecendo-lhe por tudo que ele já fez.
7 And the peace of God, that passeth all wit, keep your hearts and understandings in Christ Jesus. (And the peace of God, which passeth all reasoning or all understanding, keep your hearts and understandings in the Messiah Jesus.)
7 Então vocês experimentarão a paz de Deus, que excede todo entendimento e que guardará seu coração e sua mente em Cristo Jesus.
8 From henceforth, brethren, whatever things be sooth (or whatever things be true), whatever things chaste (or pure), whatever things just, whatever things holy, whatever things able to be loved, [or amiable, or lovable], whatever things of good fame, if any virtue, if any praising of discipline, think ye (on) these things,
8 Por fim, irmãos, quero lhes dizer só mais uma coisa. Concentrem-se em tudo que é verdadeiro, tudo que é nobre, tudo que é correto, tudo que é puro, tudo que é amável e tudo que é admirável. Pensem no que é excelente e digno de louvor.
9 that also ye have learned, and taken, and heard, and seen in me. Do ye these things, and (the) God of peace shall be with you.
9 Continuem a praticar tudo que aprenderam e receberam de mim, tudo que ouviram de mim e me viram fazer. Então o Deus da paz estará com vocês.
10 But I joyed greatly in the Lord, that sometime afterward ye flowered again to feel for me, as also ye feeled (before). But ye were occupied,
10 Como eu me alegro no Senhor por vocês terem voltado a se preocupar comigo! Sei que sempre se preocuparam comigo, mas não tinham oportunidade de me ajudar.
11 I say not as for need, for I have learned to be sufficient in which things I am.
11 Não digo isso por estar necessitado, pois aprendi a ficar satisfeito com o que tenho.
12 And I know also how to be lowed, [or how to be bowed, or meeked], I know also how to have plenty [or how to abound], (And I know how to be humbled, and I know how to abound). Everywhere and in all things I am taught to be [full-]filled, and to hunger, and to abound, and to suffer mis-ease (or need).
12 Sei viver na necessidade e também na fartura. Aprendi o segredo de viver em qualquer situação, de estômago cheio ou vazio, com pouco ou muito.
13 I may all things in him that comforteth me. (I can do all things through him who strengtheneth me.)
13 Posso todas as coisas por meio de Cristo, que me dá forças.
14 Nevertheless ye have done well, communing to my tribulation.
14 Mesmo assim, vocês fizeram bem em me ajudar na dificuldade pela qual estou passando.
15 For ye, Philippians, know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I went forth from Macedonia, no church communed with me in reason, of thing given and taken, (or no other church shared things given and received with me), but ye alone.
15 Como sabem, filipenses, vocês foram os únicos que me ajudaram financeiramente quando lhes anunciei as boas-novas pela primeira vez e depois segui viagem saindo da Macedônia. Nenhuma outra igreja o fez.
16 Which sent to Thessalonica once and twice also into use to me. (Ye who sent sustenance to Thessalonica not once but twice for my use.)
16 Até quando eu estava em Tessalônica, vocês enviaram ajuda em mais de uma ocasião.
17 Not for I seek (a) gift, but I require, [or \+sls (I)\+sls* seek again], fruit abounding in your reason.
17 Não digo isso porque quero receber uma oferta de vocês. Pelo contrário, desejo que sejam recompensados por sua bondade.
18 For I have all things, and abound; I am [full-]filled [or replete] with those things taken of Epaphroditus (or with those things received from Epaphroditus), which ye sent into the odour of sweetness, a covenable (or a suitable) sacrifice, pleasing to God.
18 No momento, tenho tudo de que preciso, e mais. Minhas necessidades foram plenamente supridas pelas contribuições que vocês enviaram por Epafrodito. Elas são um sacrifício de aroma suave, uma oferta aceitável e agradável a Deus.
19 And my God [ful] fill all your desire(s), by his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (And my God shall fulfill all your desires, or shall fill all of your desires full, with his riches in glory through the Messiah Jesus.)
19 E esse mesmo Deus que cuida de mim lhes suprirá todas as necessidades por meio das riquezas gloriosas que nos foram dadas em Cristo Jesus.
20 But to God and our Father be glory into worlds of worlds. Amen. (But to God and our Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.)
20 Agora, toda a glória seja a Deus, nosso Pai, para todo o sempre! Amém.
21 Greet ye well every holy man in Christ Jesus. Those brethren that be with me, greet you well. (Give hearty greetings to every saint, or to all of God’s people, in the Messiah Jesus. Those brothers who be with me, send you hearty greetings.)
21 Transmitam minhas saudações a cada um do povo santo em Cristo Jesus. Os irmãos que estão comigo também mandam lembranças.
22 All holy men greet you well, most soothly they that be of the emperor’s [or of Caesar’s] house. (All the saints, or all of God’s people, send hearty greetings to you, most particularly those who be in the household of the Emperor.)
22 Todo o povo santo daqui lhes envia saudações, especialmente os que pertencem à casa de César.
23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
23 Que a graça do Senhor Jesus Cristo seja com o espírito de vocês.
