1 Therefore, my brethren most dearworthy and most desired, my joy and my crown, so stand ye in the Lord, most dear brethren.
1 Meus queridos irmãos, sinto muitas saudades de vocês. Vocês me fazem tão feliz, e eu me orgulho muito de vocês! Portanto, continuem todos firmes, vivendo unidos com o Senhor.
2 I pray Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, to understand the same thing in the Lord.
2 Evódia e Síntique, peço, por favor, que procurem viver bem uma com a outra, como irmãs na fé.
3 Also I pray and thee, germane fellow, help thou those women that travailed with me in the gospel, (or help those \+em women\+em* who laboured with me in the Gospel or the Good News), with Clement and other mine helpers, whose names be in the book of life.
3 E a você, meu fiel companheiro de trabalho, peço que ajude essas duas irmãs. Pois elas, junto com Clemente e todos os outros meus companheiros, trabalharam muito para espalhar o evangelho . Os nomes deles estão no Livro da Vida , que pertence a Deus.
4 Joy ye in the Lord (for)evermore; again I say, joy ye. (Always have joy in the Lord; again I say, have joy!)

5 Be your patience [or your temperance] known to all men; the Lord is nigh (or the Lord is near).
5 Sejam amáveis com todos. O Senhor virá logo.
6 Be ye nothing busy, but in all prayer and beseeching, with doing of thankings, (or with the giving of thanks, or with thanksgiving), be your askings known at God.
6 Não se preocupem com nada, mas em todas as orações peçam a Deus o que vocês precisam e orem sempre com o coração agradecido.
7 And the peace of God, that passeth all wit, keep your hearts and understandings in Christ Jesus. (And the peace of God, which passeth all reasoning or all understanding, keep your hearts and understandings in the Messiah Jesus.)
7 E a paz de Deus, que ninguém consegue entender, guardará o coração e a mente de vocês, pois vocês estão unidos com Cristo Jesus.
8 From henceforth, brethren, whatever things be sooth (or whatever things be true), whatever things chaste (or pure), whatever things just, whatever things holy, whatever things able to be loved, [or amiable, or lovable], whatever things of good fame, if any virtue, if any praising of discipline, think ye (on) these things,
8 Por último, meus irmãos, encham a mente de vocês com tudo o que é bom e merece elogios, isto é, tudo o que é verdadeiro, digno, correto, puro, agradável e decente.
9 that also ye have learned, and taken, and heard, and seen in me. Do ye these things, and (the) God of peace shall be with you.
9 Ponham em prática o que vocês receberam e aprenderam de mim, tanto com as minhas palavras como com as minhas ações. E o Deus que nos dá a paz estará com vocês.
10 But I joyed greatly in the Lord, that sometime afterward ye flowered again to feel for me, as also ye feeled (before). But ye were occupied,
10 Na minha vida em união com o Senhor, fiquei muito alegre porque vocês mostraram de novo o cuidado que têm por mim. Não quero dizer que vocês tivessem deixado de cuidar de mim; é que não tiveram oportunidade de mostrar esse cuidado.
11 I say not as for need, for I have learned to be sufficient in which things I am.
11 Não estou dizendo isso por me sentir abandonado, pois aprendi a estar satisfeito com o que tenho.
12 And I know also how to be lowed, [or how to be bowed, or meeked], I know also how to have plenty [or how to abound], (And I know how to be humbled, and I know how to abound). Everywhere and in all things I am taught to be [full-]filled, and to hunger, and to abound, and to suffer mis-ease (or need).
12 Sei o que é estar necessitado e sei também o que é ter mais do que é preciso. Aprendi o segredo de me sentir contente em todo lugar e em qualquer situação, quer esteja alimentado ou com fome, quer tenha muito ou tenha pouco.
13 I may all things in him that comforteth me. (I can do all things through him who strengtheneth me.)
13 Com a força que Cristo me dá, posso enfrentar qualquer situação.
14 Nevertheless ye have done well, communing to my tribulation.
14 Mesmo assim vocês fizeram bem em me ajudar nas minhas aflições.
15 For ye, Philippians, know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I went forth from Macedonia, no church communed with me in reason, of thing given and taken, (or no other church shared things given and received with me), but ye alone.
15 Vocês, filipenses, sabem muito bem que, quando eu saí da província da Macedônia, nos primeiros tempos em que anunciei o evangelho , a igreja de vocês foi a única que me ajudou. Vocês foram os únicos que participaram dos meus lucros e dos meus prejuízos.
16 Which sent to Thessalonica once and twice also into use to me. (Ye who sent sustenance to Thessalonica not once but twice for my use.)

17 Not for I seek (a) gift, but I require, [or \+sls (I)\+sls* seek again], fruit abounding in your reason.
17 Não é que eu só pense em receber ajuda. Pelo contrário, quero ver mais lucros acrescentados à conta de vocês.
18 For I have all things, and abound; I am [full-]filled [or replete] with those things taken of Epaphroditus (or with those things received from Epaphroditus), which ye sent into the odour of sweetness, a covenable (or a suitable) sacrifice, pleasing to God.
18 Aqui está o meu recibo de tudo o que vocês me enviaram e que foi mais do que o necessário. Tenho tudo o que preciso, especialmente agora que Epafrodito me trouxe as coisas que vocês mandaram, as quais são como um perfume suave oferecido a Deus, um sacrifício que ele aceita e que lhe agrada.
19 And my God [ful] fill all your desire(s), by his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (And my God shall fulfill all your desires, or shall fill all of your desires full, with his riches in glory through the Messiah Jesus.)
19 E o meu Deus, de acordo com as gloriosas riquezas que ele tem para oferecer por meio de Cristo Jesus, lhes dará tudo o que vocês precisam.
20 But to God and our Father be glory into worlds of worlds. Amen. (But to God and our Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.)
20 Ao Deus e Pai seja dada glória para todo o sempre! Amém !
21 Greet ye well every holy man in Christ Jesus. Those brethren that be with me, greet you well. (Give hearty greetings to every saint, or to all of God’s people, in the Messiah Jesus. Those brothers who be with me, send you hearty greetings.)
21 Saudações a todo o povo de Deus que pertence a Cristo Jesus. Os irmãos que estão aqui comigo mandam saudações para vocês.
22 All holy men greet you well, most soothly they that be of the emperor’s [or of Caesar’s] house. (All the saints, or all of God’s people, send hearty greetings to you, most particularly those who be in the household of the Emperor.)
22 Todo o povo de Deus daqui manda saudações, especialmente os do palácio do Imperador .
23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
23 Que a graça do Senhor Jesus Cristo esteja com todos vocês!
