AAI TUR GEWASIN O BAIBASIT BOUBUN
1 Therefore be ye followers of God, as most dearworthy sons;
1 A bowabowamaim kwabowabow kwanasinaftobon God kwaniu’ur, anayabin kwa i God natunatun anababatun.
2 and walk ye in love, as Christ loved us (or as the Messiah loved us), and gave himself for us (as) an offering and a sacrifice to God, into the odour of sweetness.
2 A yawas wanawanan taituwa isah i yabowamaim nabonawiyi kwaniyabuwih. Keriso iyabuwit taiyuwin biyan it ata bowabow kakafih isan sisibor na’atube. Naatu nati sibor yamurin i igewasin kwanekwan, imih God iyasisir gagamin maiyow.
3 And fornication, and all uncleanness, or avarice (or greed), be not named among you, as it becometh holy men;
3 Kwa i God ana sabuw, imih men in baisesebar kwanekwan, o sinaf kwanekwan hai gubagub, o kabat wanawananamaim tama wab hitasu’ub hitao.
4 either filth, or folly speech, or buffoonery [or harlotry], that pertaineth not to profit, but more rather doing of thankings. (or filth, or foolish speaking, or buffoonery, all that pertaineth not to profit, but more \+em rather\+em* the giving of thanks or thanksgiving.)
4 Binanakwar kakafih, baifufuwen tur, bai’iyab kwanekwan, tur kakafih i men awamaim tama, nati sawar efanih kwa i God merarayow kwatitin.
5 For know ye this, and understand, that each lecher [or each fornicator], or unclean man, or covetous [man], that serveth to maumets [or to idols], hath not heritage in the kingdom of Christ and of God (or hath not an inheritance in the Kingdom of the Messiah and of God).
5 Sawar etei isah i kwa kwaso’ob, orot yait ebisesebar kwanekwan, kakafih hai gubagub auman ema’am, o ebikabat, nati orot boro men Keriso naatu God ana aiwob nowanamih nab. Anayabin orot kabat mowan i turobe umataratar ana bowayan naatu iti tafaram hai sawar ekwakwafiren.
6 No man deceive you by vain words (or Let no one deceive you with empty and useless words); for why for these things the wrath of God came upon the sons of unbelief.
6 Men yait ta baifuwen turamaim kwa nifufuwimih, anayabin sawar iti isan sabuw iyab tibifanasair God ana yaso’ar boro tafahimaim nare.
7 Therefore do not ye be made partners of them.
7 Isan imih sabuw iti na’atube tisisinaf men bairi kwanita’ayomih.
8 For ye were sometime darknesses, (or For before ye were in darkness, or For before ye were darkness), but now ye be light in the Lord. Walk ye as the sons of light.
8 Marasika kwa ayawas i nati na’atube guguminamaim kwama’am, baise boun kwa i kwana Regah ana sabuw kwamatar marakawamaim kwama’am. Imih sabuw iyab marakawamaim tema’am na’atube kwanama.
9 For the fruit of light is in all goodness, and rightwiseness, and truth.
9 Anayabin iti marakaw kwa wanawananamaim ema’am ana ro’on i boro gewasin nakutait. Ef mutufurin nakutait, naatu turobe nakutait.
10 And prove ye what thing is well pleasing to God.
10 Kwanasinaftobon sawar abisa Regah isan ebiyasisir i kwananuwih.
11 And do not ye commune to unfruiteous works of darknesses; but more rather reprove ye [them]. (And do not share, or take part in, unfruitful works of darkness, but rather, rebuke \+em them\+em*.)
11 Naatu gugumin hai ro’on kakafih men kwanabow, baise kwanasinaftobon nati ro’oh kakafih i kwanabow hinatit hinirerereb.
12 For what things be done of them in privy, it is foul, yea, to speak.
12 Anayabin abisa wa’iwa’iramaim hisisinaf bain tit rererebamaim o isan i biya’ohow gagamin maiyow.
13 And all things that be reproved of the light, be openly showed [or be made open]; for all thing that is showed, is light. (And everything that is reproved is first brought into the light, so that it can be openly shown, or made open; for everything that is shown, is light.)
13 Baise sawar iti etei hinan marakawamaim hinatitit ana veya, boro bebeyan ni’obaiyi iti sawar i anababatun kakafih.
14 For which thing he saith, Rise thou that sleepest, and rise up from death, and Christ shall lighten thee. [For which thing he saith, Rise thou that sleepest, and rise up from \+sls (the)\+sls* dead, and Christ shall illumine thee.](For which thing he saith, Rise thou who sleepest, yea, rise up from the dead, and the Messiah shall shine upon thee.)
14 Anayabin marakawamaim sawar etei bow hina hirerereb. Ana’an nati isan tur iti eo, “Inuyan kumisir, morobone kumisir! Naatu Keriso tafamaim nakusisiar.”
15 Therefore, brethren (or brothers), see ye, how warily ye shall go; not as unwise men, but as wise men, (And so, people, see how prudently you should go; not as unwise people, but as wise people,)
15 Mata toniwa’an anot hinarerekab, kwanakaifi gewas kwanama, men koko’aw hai ma kwanama’amih,
16 again-buying the time (or redeeming the time), for the days be evil.
16 men yait ta a veya inafafuw kwaniyimih, anayabin mar iti boun i kakafin ana veya.
17 Therefore do not ye be made unwise, but understanding which is the will of God [or of the Lord]. (And so do not be made unwise, but rather seek understanding of what is God’s will.)
17 Isan imih kwa men kwanikoko’aw, baise Regah ana kok abisa sinafumih ekokok i kwanaso’ob kwanasinaf.
18 And do not ye be drunk of wine, in which is lechery [or in which is luxury], but be ye filled with the Holy Ghost; (And do not be drunk with wine, which leadeth to lechery, and to self-indulgence, but be filled with the Holy Spirit;)
18 Wine men gagamin na’in kwanatom, anayabin nati sawar i yawas bai’afiyenayan, baise nati efanin Anun kakafiyin niwani ayawas nabonawiy gewas.
19 and speak ye to yourselves in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and saying psalm(s) in your hearts to the Lord;
19 Naatu nati’imaim ew kwanatabor, naatu ewamaim kwanatabor taituwa hai tur kwana’owen, dinab ewamaim sika wanawanan na’in natawiniwin dogoromaim Regah kwanarutabur.
20 (for)evermore doing thankings for all things (or always giving thanks for everything), in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God and to the Father.
20 Ata Regah Jesu Keriso wabinamaim sawar tutufin etei isah mar etei Tamat God merarayow kwanitin.
21 Be ye subject together in the dread of Christ. (\+em Be\+em* subject to one another out of reverence for the Messiah.)
21 O taiyuw a’of babanamaim inayara’iyi, anayabin nati i o akakaf Keriso isan.
22 Women, be they subject to their husbands, as to the Lord,
22 Baibin kwanayara’iyi a’aaw babahimaim kwanama, Regah isan kwayara’iyi babanamaim kwama’am na’atube.
23 for the man is (the) head of the woman, as Christ is head of the church (or as the Messiah is the head of the church); he is(the) Saviour of his body.
23 Anayabin orot i babin isan ebi’ukwarin, Keriso ekaleisia isan ebi’ukwarin na’atube. Naatu Keriso biyan i ekaleisia ana baiyawasenayan.
24 But as the church is subject to Christ (or And just as the church is subject to the Messiah), so (let) women (be subject) to their husbands in all things.
24 Ekaleisia yara’iy Keriso babanamaim ema’ama na’atube, kwa baibin kwanayariyi biya tutufin etei orot kwanitin.
25 Men, love ye your wives, as Christ loved the church (or as the Messiah loved the church), and gave himself for it,
25 Kwa orot, a’aaw baibin kwaniyabuwih gewas, anayabin Keriso ekaleisia iyabuw ana yawas i’inuw isan morob,
26 to make it holy; and cleansed it with the washing of water, in the word of life,
26 saise ekaleisia taya’asair harewamaim tikifuw kakafiyin tamatar. Naatu ana turamaim takusouw
27 to give the church glorious to himself, that it had no wem, [or spot], nor rivelling [or wrinkle], or any such thing, but that it be holy and undefouled. (to give the church glorious to himself, so that it had no blemish, \+em or spot\+em*, or wrinkle, or any such thing, but that it be holy and undefiled.)
27 biyan itinin gewasin, mamarin sa’er bitan aurin kato en, naatu butukutukuwan itinin ta ta men tama. Baise kakafiyin naatu uhew bitan nanamaim tima’an nowan tamatar tama.
28 So and men shall love their wives, as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife, loveth himself;
28 Ef nati na’atube kwa orot a’aaw baibin kwaniyabuwih, kwa taiyuw biya kwabiyabuw na’atube, orot yait aawan ebiyabuw i taiyuwin isan ebiyabow.
29 for no man hated ever his own flesh, but nourisheth and fostereth it, as Christ doeth the church (or as the Messiah nourisheth and fostereth the church).
29 Orot babin yait men ta taiyuwin biyan ebifa’ifa’imih, baise biyan ebituw naatu ekakaif gewas. Keriso ana ekaleisia isan isisinaf na’atube.
30 And we be (the) members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
30 Anayabin it i Keriso biyan ana kou’ay turin.
31 For this thing a man shall forsake his father and mother (or a man shall leave his father and his mother), and he shall draw [or he shall cleave] to his wife; and they shall be twain in one flesh.
31 “Ana’an iti isan orot boro hinah tamah nihamiyih aawan hairi hinita’imon, naatu biyah rou’ab baise hinan biyah ta’imon namatar.”
32 This sacrament is great; yea, I say in Christ, and in the church. (In this is a great mystery or a great secret; yes, I speak here about the Messiah, and about the church.)
32 Iti tur i buriburin anababatun, baise tur iti’imaim ayai ao saise Keriso naatu ekaleisia hairi hai bowabow kwataso’ob.
33 Nevertheless ye all, each man love his wife as himself; and the wife dread her husband (or and the wife revere her husband).
33 Imih iban ao maiye, kwa oro’orot a’aaw baibin kwaniyabuwih, kwa taiyuw isa kwabiyabow na’atube, naatu kwa baibin a’aaw oro’orot kwanakakafiyih.
