1 If it behooveth to have glory, it speedeth not (or It is not expedient to boast); but I shall come to the visions and the revelations of the Lord.
1 Ayu boro ana’ora’ara’at. Baise boro men imaim tanab. Ayu anarabon Regah ana i’inan ai’itah naatu abistan hirererereb ai’itah imaim anao kwananowar.
2 I know a man in Christ that before fourteen years; whether in body, whether out of body, I know not, God knoweth; that such a man was ravished unto the third heaven. (I know a man in the Messiah who fourteen years ago; whether in the body, or out of the body, I do not know, but God knoweth; that man was snatched up into the third heaven.)

3 And I know such a man; whether in body, or out of body, I know not, God knoweth; (And I know that this man, whether in the body, or out of the body, I do not know, but God knoweth;)
3 Ayu aso’ob nati orot, men aso’ob biyan tutufin yen o i anuninawat tabaratait yen. God akisin so’ob.
4 that he was ravished into paradise, and heard privy words, which it is not leaveful to a man to speak. (that he was snatched up into paradise, and heard private or secret words, which it is not lawful for a man to speak or tell out.)
4 I yen in Paradise, naatu nati’imaim tur nonowar i ananowarin ta, men karam boro tanao tanakubuna.
5 For such manner things I shall glory (in); but (as) for me nothing, but in mine infirmities. (About such a man as this, I shall boast; but about myself nothing, except for my frailties and weaknesses.)
5 Imih orot nati na’atube boro isan ana’ora’ara’at, baise men ayu isou ana’ora’ara’at.
6 For if I shall desire to glory (or For if I wish to boast), I shall not be unwise, for I shall say (the) truth; but I spare (thee), lest any man guess me over that thing that he seeth in me, or heareth anything of me.
6 Ayu anakok ana’ora’ara’at na’at, men koko’aw kwanarouw kwanao, anayabin ayu turobe ao. Baise boro men ana’ora’ara’at, anayabin ayu abistan ao kwanonowar naatu kwa’i’itin men akokok o yait ta a not yate’eka inanot wabu inabora’ah.
7 And lest the greatness of (these) revelations enhance me, (or exalt me, or raise me up), in pride, the prick of my flesh, an angel of Satan, is given to me, (so) that he buffet me.
7 Ayu men nati ina’inan gewasih God isou iwa’an irerereb ai’itah isah ao’omih. Baise Satan ana tounamatar iyafar na biyou kokoramaim yi bai’akiru isan.
8 For which thing thrice I prayed the Lord, that it should go away from me.
8 Mar tounu Regah isan ayoyoban iti yare kakafin biyu’une tabosair isan.
9 And he said to me, My grace sufficeth to thee; for virtue is perfectly made in infirmity. Therefore gladly I shall glory in mine infirmities, that the virtue of Christ dwell in me. (And he said to me, My grace sufficeth for thee; for power is made perfect in frailty or weakness. And so I shall gladly boast of my frailties and weaknesses, so that the power of the Messiah can live in me.)
9 Baise ayu isou eo, “Ayu au manaw kabeber o isa i karam, Ayu au fair i iyab teriririm fair ebitih.” Isan imih ayu boro ana’ora’ara’at aniyasisir gagamin na’in ayu ariririm isan, saise Keriso ana fair tafu namara’at.
10 For which thing I am pleased in mine infirmities, in despisings, [or reprovings], in needs, in persecutions, in anguishes, for Christ; for when I am sick, then I am mighty. (And so I am content in my frailties and weaknesses, in despisings, \+em or reproaches\+em*, in needs, in persecutions, in anguishes, for the Messiah; for when I am frail or weak, then I am mighty.)
10 Nati isan Keriso wabinamaim ariririm baise abiyasisir, tur kakafin, bowabow fokarih, yawas o morob, yare ta ta fokarih. Anamaramaim ariririm ayu fair abaib.
11 I am made unwitty (or witless), ye constrained me. For I ought to be commended of you; for I did nothing less than they that be apostles over-measure. Though I am nought, (But I am being foolish, and ye compelled me. For I ought to be commended by you; for I did nothing less than those who be apostles over-measure or who be the greatest apostles. Although I am nothing,)
11 Ayu au sinaf i boun hai not meyemeye na’atube, baise kwa kwa’ora’ahu ayu anasinaf. Kwa karam ayu isou boro baibasit tur kwatao, anayabin ayu i men kafa’imo orot fairu boun iti tounamatar hai fair gagamih na’atube, ayu i yabin en.
12 nevertheless the signs of mine apostlehood be made on you, in all patience, and signs (or miracles), and great wonders, and virtues (or works of power).
12 Anamaramaim ayu bairit tama’am, ayu yataunub naatu ina’inan, men tisinaf emamatar asinaf himatar naatu baifofofor fairih maiyow kwa wanawanamaim asinaf himatar, iti ebiturobe ayu i kwa a turabarayan.
13 And what is it, that ye had less than (the) other churches, [no] but that I myself grieved you not, [betaking \+sls (nothing)\+sls* of you]? (\+em or taking\+em* nothing \+em from you\+em*?) Forgive ye to me this wrong.
13 Ayu au sinaf mi’itube isa asisinaf i na’atube ekalesia sabuw etei isah a sisinaf. Ana veya ta ayu men kafa’imo ubar aitimih kabay yai’in ayu baibaisu isan. Abistan kakafin asisinaf kwaninatbuhuruwu.
14 Lo! this third time I am ready to come to you, and I shall not be grievous to you; for I seek not those things that be yours, but you. For neither sons owe to [make] treasure to father and mother (or For sons ought not to give treasure to their father and mother), but the father and mother to the sons.
14 Iti boun i mar baitounin ayu abobogaigiwas anan kwa aninanawani. Ayu au naa isan boro men aniwa’an nafokar anayabin ayu men akokok kwa a sawar, ayu akokok i kwa. Kek i men karam hinah tamah hinakaifih baise hinah tamah i karam kek hinakaifih
15 For I shall give most willfully (or For I shall give most willingly or out of my free will), and I myself shall be given over for your souls; though I more love you, and be less loved.
15 Ayu i abiyasisir gagamin na’in, ayu au sawar etei kwa isa abi’asrouwen naatu au fair etei anit kwa a baibais isan. Kwa isa ayu abi yabow kwanekwan, naatu aisimamih ayu isou men kwabiyabow gewas?
16 But (so) be it; I grieved not you, but when I was subtle [or wily], I took you with guile.

17 Whether I deceived you by any of them, which I sent to you?
17 Ayu oro’orot aiyunih hinanamaim ayu kwa abainuwi?
18 I prayed Titus, and I sent with him a brother. Whether Titus beguiled you? whether we went not in the same spirit? whether not in the same steps?
18 Ayu Titus aifefeyan i boro tuwat ta hairi hinan kwa hininanawani.
19 Sometime ye ween (or ye guess), that we shall excuse us with you. Before God in Christ we speak (or In the presence of God, we speak in the Messiah); and, most dear brethren, all things for your edifying.
19 Kwa a not iti na’atube kwanotanot, aki mar etei asisinaftobon aki kwa anarufafari. Aiyabin! Keriso bibinanube aki abibinan, i aki awaimaim eo re God nanamaim aki tur ao’orerereb. Are au ofonah, sawar etei asisinaf, i kwa nibaisi isan.
20 But I dread, lest when I come, I shall not find you such as I will, and I shall be found of you such as ye will not, (or But I fear, that when I come there, I shall not find you such as I want, or as I desire, and that I shall be found by you such as ye do not want, or as ye do not desire); lest peradventure strivings, envies, indignations, dissensions and detractions, privy speeches of discord, swellings by pride, debates be among you;
20 Ayu abirubir ana maramaim anan kwa anabinanawani, kwa a itinin i men ayu anotanot na’atube ana itimih naatu ayu kwana i’itu men kwa kwanotanot na’atube kwana itu. Ayu biyau ekakameyaw anayabin nati’imaim gamin ema’am, bobowen, yaso’ar etit erara’iy, kabat, bai’i’iyab, rarikasar, naatu hai ma men gewasih.
21 and lest again when I come, God make me low [or make me humble] with you, and I bewail many of them, that before sinned, and did not penance on the uncleanness (or and who did not repent for the uncleanness), and fornication, and unchastity, that they have done.
21 Ayu abirubir anamaramaim anan biya ana titit maiye, kwa namaim ayu au God boro au yawas nayara’iy naham, naatu sabuw moumurih marasika kakafih hisisinaf isan boro anarererey. Anayabin kwa i dogoroh kato men kwainatbuhuruwen, naatu baiwa’an ana bainikinik. I boro’ika kwama kwabi’a’it.
