1 And I, brethren, might not speak to you as to spiritual men, but as to fleshly men; as to little children in Christ,
1 Eu, porém, irmãos, não vos pude falar como a espirituais, e sim como a carnais, como a crianças em Cristo.
2 I gave to you milk to drink, not meat (or solid food); for ye might not yet understand, neither ye may now (or nor can ye now),
2 Leite vos dei a beber, não vos dei alimento sólido; porque ainda não podíeis suportá-lo. Nem ainda agora podeis, porque ainda sois carnais.
3 for yet ye be fleshly. For while envy and strife is among you, whether ye be not fleshly, and ye go after man?
3 Porquanto, havendo entre vós ciúmes e contendas, não é assim que sois carnais e andais segundo o homem?
4 For when some saith, I am of Paul, and another, But I am of Apollos, whether ye be not [fleshly] men?
4 Quando, pois, alguém diz: Eu sou de Paulo, e outro: Eu, de Apolo, não é evidente que andais segundo os homens?
5 What therefore is Apollos, and what Paul? They be ministers (or servants) of him, to whom ye have believed; and to each man as God hath given.
5 Quem é Apolo? E quem é Paulo? Servos por meio de quem crestes, e isto conforme o Senhor concedeu a cada um.
6 I planted, Apollos moisted (or Apollos watered), but God gave increasing.
6 Eu plantei, Apolo regou; mas o crescimento veio de Deus.
7 Therefore neither he that planteth is anything, neither he that moisteth (or nor he who watereth), but God that giveth increasing.
7 De modo que nem o que planta é alguma coisa, nem o que rega, mas Deus, que dá o crescimento.
8 And he that planteth, and he that moisteth, be one; and each shall take his own meed, after his travail. (And he who planteth, and he who watereth, be one; and each shall receive his own reward, according to his labour.)
8 Ora, o que planta e o que rega são um; e cada um receberá o seu galardão, segundo o seu próprio trabalho.
9 For we be the helpers of God; ye be the earth-tilling of God, ye be the building of God.
9 Porque de Deus somos cooperadores; lavoura de Deus, edifício de Deus sois vós.
10 After the grace of God that is given to me, as a wise master carpenter I setted the foundament, (or By the grace of God that is given to me, like a wise master carpenter I set the foundation); and another buildeth above. But each man see, how he buildeth above, [or Soothly each man see, how and what things he buildeth upon].
10 Segundo a graça de Deus que me foi dada, lancei o fundamento como prudente construtor; e outro edifica sobre ele. Porém cada um veja como edifica.
11 For no man may set another foundament, except [or besides] that that is set, which is Christ Jesus. (And no other foundation can be laid by any man, besides that which was laid, which is the Messiah Jesus.)
11 Porque ninguém pode lançar outro fundamento, além do que foi posto, o qual é Jesus Cristo.
12 For if any man buildeth over [or upon] this foundament, (with) gold, silver, precious stones, sticks, hay, or stubble,
12 Contudo, se o que alguém edifica sobre o fundamento é ouro, prata, pedras preciosas, madeira, feno, palha,
13 every man’s work shall be open; for the day of the Lord shall declare (it), for it shall be showed in fire; the fire shall prove the work of each man, what manner work it is.
13 manifesta se tornará a obra de cada um; pois o Dia a demonstrará, porque está sendo revelada pelo fogo; e qual seja a obra de cada um o próprio fogo o provará.
14 If the work of any man dwell still, which he builded above [or upon], he shall receive meed (or he shall receive a reward).
14 Se permanecer a obra de alguém que sobre o fundamento edificou, esse receberá galardão;
15 If any man’s work burn, he shall suffer harm, either impairing; but he shall be safe, so nevertheless as by fire, (or but he shall be saved, as if from a fire).
15 se a obra de alguém se queimar, sofrerá ele dano; mas esse mesmo será salvo, todavia, como que através do fogo.
16 Know ye not, that ye be the temple of God, (or Do ye not know, that ye be God’s temple), and the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
16 Não sabeis que sois santuário de Deus e que o Espírito de Deus habita em vós?
17 And if any [man] defouleth the temple of God, God shall lose him; for the temple of God is holy, which ye be. (And if any man defileth God’s temple, God shall destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which ye be.)
17 Se alguém destruir o santuário de Deus, Deus o destruirá; porque o santuário de Deus, que sois vós, é sagrado.
18 No man deceive himself. If any man among you is seen to be wise in this world, be he made a fool, (so) that he (can truly) be wise.
18 Ninguém se engane a si mesmo: se alguém dentre vós se tem por sábio neste século, faça-se estulto para se tornar sábio.
19 For the wisdom of this world is folly with God (or For this world’s wisdom is foolishness to God); for it is written, I shall catch wise men in their fell wisdom, [or subtle guile];
19 Porque a sabedoria deste mundo é loucura diante de Deus; porquanto está escrito: Ele apanha os sábios na própria astúcia deles.
20 and again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of wise men, for those be vain (or for they be empty and useless).
20 E outra vez: O Senhor conhece os pensamentos dos sábios, que são pensamentos vãos.
21 Therefore no man have glory in men (or And so let no man boast about men). For all things be yours,
21 Portanto, ninguém se glorie nos homens; porque tudo é vosso:
22 either Paul, either Apollos, either Cephas (or Peter), either the world, either life, either death, either things present, either things to coming [or either things to come]; for all things be yours,
22 seja Paulo, seja Apolo, seja Cefas, seja o mundo, seja a vida, seja a morte, sejam as coisas presentes, sejam as futuras, tudo é vosso,
23 and ye be of Christ, and Christ is of God. (and ye \+em (be)\+em* of the Messiah, and the Messiah \+em (is)\+em* of God.)
23 e vós, de Cristo, e Cristo, de Deus.
