AAI TUR GEWASIN O BAIBASIT BOUBUN
1 Be ye my followers, as I am of Christ. (Be followers of me, like I \+em am\+em* of the Messiah.)
1 Ayu Keriso abi’u’ur na’atube kwa ayu kwani’u’uru.
2 And, brethren, I praise you, that by all things ye be mindful of me; and as I betook to you my commandments, ye hold (onto them), [or ye keep \+sls (them)\+sls*]. (And, brothers, I praise you, because ye always remember me; and as I delivered to you my teachings, ye follow and obey them.)
2 Ayu sawar ta ta’amaim mar etei kwanunuhu isan naatu bai’obaiyen abit kwabukikin kwama’am isan, a merar ayi abobora’ara’ahi.
3 But I will that ye know, that Christ is [the] head of each man; but the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. (But I desire that ye know, that the Messiah is the head of every man; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of the Messiah \+em is\+em* God.)
3 Baise boun ayu akokok kwa etei kwanaso’ob gewas. Keriso i orot ana ukwarin, Babin ana ukwarin i orot naatu Keriso ana ukwarin i God.
4 Each man praying, or prophesying, when his head is covered, defouleth his head (or defileth his head).
4 Orot yait aribun sumasum auman eyoyoyoban, o tur God biyanane baib eo’orereb Keriso biya’ohow ebitin.
5 But each woman praying, or prophesying, when her head is not covered, defouleth her head (or defileth her head); for it is one (or for it is such), as if she were polled, [or if she were made bald, or clipped].
5 Naatu babin yait aribun ana sumasum bosair eyoyoyoban, o tur God biyanane bai eo’orereb, aawan biya’ohow ebitin, ana itinin i babin aribun himafuribe.
6 And if a woman be not covered [or veiled], be she polled; and if it is (a) foul thing to a woman to be polled, or to be made bald, (or and if it is a foul thing for a woman to be clipped, or to be cropped, or to be made bald), cover she her head.
6 Babin yait aribun men nasumisum, gewasin aribun hina’afuw. Baise babin aribun afuwin o mafurin isan biyan nao’ohow na’at gewasin aribun nasum.
7 But a man shall not cover his head, for he is the image and (the) glory of God; but a woman is the glory of man.
7 Orot aribun men nasum, anayabin orot i God ana itinin naatu ana fair, baise babin i orot ana fair.
8 For a man is not of the woman, but the woman of the man.
8 Anayabin orot i men babinane namih, baise babin i orotone na.
9 And the man is not made for the woman, but the woman for the man.
9 Na’atube orot i men babin isan God eo matar, baise babin i orot isan matar.
10 Therefore the woman shall have a covering on her head, (and) also (out of regard) for (the) angels. (And so the woman shall have a covering upon her head, out of respect for the angels.)
10 Ana’anaban iti isan, tounamatar matahimaim babin aribun nasum, saise nati sumasumamaim ebi’obaiyit, babin i orot ana fair babanamaim ema’am.
11 Nevertheless neither the man is without the woman, neither the woman is without [the] man, in the Lord.
11 Regah ana yawasamaim tama’am babin men orot nihamiy akisin nabin ana fairamaim nama, na’atube orot men babin nihamiy akisin nabin ana fairamaim nama.
12 For why as the woman is of the man, so the man is by the woman; but all things be of God.
12 Anayabin babin orotone na, na’atube babin biyanane taub orot yai. Baise sawar etei i Godane hina.
13 Deem ye yourselves (or You yourselves judge); beseemeth it [or becometh it](for) a woman not covered on the head to pray to God?
13 Taiyuw kwanibatiy kwana’itin, babin aribun ana sumasum nabosair, bebeyanamaim nayoyoyoban i gewasin ai en?
14 Neither the kind itself teacheth us [that](or Neither nature itself teacheth us \+em that\+em*), for if a man nourish long hair, it is (a) shame to him;
14 It ata so’ob i sawar biyatamaim temamatar imaim ebi’obaiyit, orot aribun ituw manin ere’er i boro biyan na’ohow.
15 but if a woman nourish long hair, it is (a) glory to her, for hairs be given to her for covering.
15 Baise babin aribun ituw manin ere’ere i ana itinin ebigewasin. Anayabin aribun manin re’ere i yumatan ana sumasum na’atube.
16 But if any man is seen to be full of strife (or And if anyone is seen to be always arguing), we have none such custom, neither (hath) the church of God.
16 Baise orot yait ayu ao isan inagamigam, anao inanowar. Kwafiren isan ata ef men ta ema’am boro imaim tani’ufunun o God ana ekaleisia wanawanan kwafiren ana ef men ta ema’am boro i tani’a’ait.
17 But this thing I command, not praising, that ye come together not into the better, but into the worse.
17 Roube’aten tur iti anao kwananowar. Ayu kwa boro men merarayow anitimih. Anayabin kwaru’ay a kou’ay kwabaib wanawanan kakafin i erara’at naatu ana gewasin i en.
18 First for when ye come together into the church, I hear that dissensions, either partings, be, and in part I believe (it).
18 Ayu tur anowar kwa ekaleisia tutufin etei kwana kwabita’imon akwafiren wanawan i kouseb ema’am, naatu ayu abitumatum iti i tur anababatun.
19 For it behooveth heresies to be, (so) that they that be (ap)proved, be openly known in you.
19 Men kwanakasiy, wanawananamaim kouseb iti na’atube emamatar, saise orot iyab sinaf gewasin tisisinaf boro bebeyan hinatit kwana’itih.
20 Therefore when ye come together into one, now it is not to eat the Lord’s supper;
20 Kwaruru’ay ana veya kwa i men Regah ana Bay Aafufun kwa’aau’umih.
21 for why each man before taketh his supper to eat, and one is (still) hungry, and another is (now) drunken.
21 Anayabin bay aa ana veya orot afa timatkabikabiy te’aa harew fokarih tetom tibikoko’aw, naatu sabuw afa i tibi’aamoromorob.
22 Whether ye have not houses to eat and (to) drink (in), or ye (so) despise the church of God, and confound, [or shame], them that have none [or them that have not]? What shall I say to you? I praise you, but herein I praise you not, [or in this thing I praise you not].
22 Kwa a bar tema’am boro imaim kwataa kwatatom ai en? Aisim iti na’atube kwasinaf God ana ekaleisia kwabi’afiy, naatu yababan wairafih biya’ohow kwabitih. Kwanotanot boro abisa anao kwananowar, a merar anay nati kwasisinaf isan? Boro men kafa’imo a merar anayimih.
23 For I have taken of the Lord that thing, which I have betaken to you, (or For I have received from the Lord, that which I have delivered to you). For the Lord Jesus, in what night he was betrayed, took bread,
23 Anayabin ayu Regah biyanane abisa abaib i kwa ai’obaiyi. Ata Regah gugumin hiyayanuw ana maramaim rafiy bai
24 and did thankings [or graces], and brake (it), and said, Take ye, and eat ye; this is my body, which shall be betrayed for you; do ye this thing into my mind (or do this in remembrance of me).
24 God ana merar yi imasib itih eo, “Iti i ayu biyau kwa abit, kwanab kwana’ani’aan ana maramaim ayu kwananuhu.”
25 Also [he took] the cup, after that he had supped, and said, This cup is the new testament in my blood; do ye this thing, as oft as ye shall drink [it], into my mind. (And \+em (he took)\+em* the cup, after that he had supped, and said, This cup is the New Covenant sealed by my blood; do this, as often as ye shall drink \+em (it)\+em*, in remembrance of me.)
25 Ef ta’imon kerowas isan na’atube sinaf, bay hi’aa ufunamaim kerowas wine hisuwai batabat bai, God ana merar yi, iuwih eo, “Iti kerowas i God ana Obaibasit Boubun ayu au rara’amaim ebubusuruf. Imih mar etei iti na’atube kwanasinaf, kwanatomatom ana maramaim ayu kwanuhu.”
26 For as oft as ye shall eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye shall tell the death of the Lord, till that he come, [or ye shall show the death of the Lord, till he come].
26 Mar etei iti rafiy kwana’aan, kerowasamaim wine kwanatom, naatu Regah momorob isan kwanabinan kwananan i namatabir maiye nan natit.
27 Therefore whoever eateth the bread, or drinketh the cup of the Lord unworthily, he shall be guilty of the body and of the blood of the Lord.
27 Isan imih orot yait erebosa rafiy nab na’aan naatu Regah ana kerowasamaim natomatom, nati orot i bowabow kakafin maiyow Regah biyan naatu ana rara isan esisinaf kakaf.
28 But prove a man himself, and so eat he of that bread, and drink he of the cup.
28 Imih wantoro’ot orot taiyuwin ana yawas nanutitiy na’itin gewas, imaibo rafiy nab na’aan naatu kerowas nab natom.
29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh doom, [or damnation], (or judgement), (un)to him[self], not wisely deeming the body of the Lord.
29 Anayabin orot yait Regah biyan naatu ana rara hai buriburih men naso’ob gewas, rafiy nab na’aan naatu kerowasamaim wine natomatom, i taiyuwin ana baibatiyen bai enan.
30 Therefore among you many be sick and feeble [or unstrong], and many sleep, [or die]. (And so among you there be many who be frail and weak, and many who have died.)
30 Ana’an iti isan kwa moumur na’in biyah hiririm naatu kwabisasawuw naatu afa i himoroboka.
31 And if we deemed wisely us-selves, we should not be deemed; (And if we wisely judged ourselves, then we would not be judged or come under God’s judgement;)
31 Baise it taiyuwit anababatun tanabibatiyit gewas, boro men tanan God nibatiyitamih.
32 but while we be deemed of the Lord (or but when we be judged by the Lord), we be chastised, (so) that we be not condemned with this world.
32 Baise Regah nabibatiyit ana veya baikwatutunen boro nitit, naatu God tafaram baimakiy nabitin it boro men auman nititamih.
33 Therefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, abide ye together. (And so, my brothers, when ye come together to eat, wait for one another.)
33 Isan imih taituwau, Regah ana Bay Aafufun isan kwanaruru’ay taituwa kwanakaifih.
34 If any man hungereth, eat he at home, that ye come not together into doom (or so that ye do not come together under judgement). And I shall dispose other things, when I come.
34 Naatu orot yait aa momorob gewasin ana baremaim bay naa, saise a kou’ay kwanabaib ana maramaim boro men God ana baibatiyen wanawanan narun. Naatu sawar afa i boro ayu anan anatitabo anayabuna.
