GOD'S WORD (ENGGW) vs ARC
1 The Lord said to Moses,
1 Falou mais o Senhor a Moisés, dizendo:
2 “Make two trumpets out of hammered silver. Use them to call the community together and as a signal to break camp.
2 Faze duas trombetas de prata; de obra batida as farás; e te serão para a convocação da congregação e para a partida dos arraiais.
3 When you blow both trumpets, the whole community will meet with you at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
3 E, quando as tocarem ambas, então, toda a congregação se congregará a ti à porta da tenda da congregação.
4 If only one trumpet blows, the leaders, the heads of the divisions of Israel, will meet with you.
4 Mas, quando tocar uma só, então, a ti se congregarão os príncipes, os cabeças dos milhares de Israel.
5 When they hear the trumpet fanfare, the tribes that are camped on the east side will break camp first.
5 Quando, retinindo, as tocardes, então, partirão os arraiais que alojados estão da banda do oriente.
6 When the trumpets sound a second fanfare, the tribes that are camped on the south will break camp. The fanfare is the signal to break camp.
6 Mas, quando a segunda vez, retinindo, as tocardes, então, partirão os arraiais que se alojam da banda do sul; retinindo, as tocarão para as suas partidas.
7 But when you gather the assembly, the trumpets will blow without sounding a fanfare.
7 Porém, ajuntando a congregação, as tocareis, mas sem retinir.
8 The sons of Aaron, the priests, will blow the trumpets. This will be a permanent law for you and your descendants.
8 E os filhos de Arão, sacerdotes, tocarão as trombetas; e a vós serão por estatuto perpétuo nas vossas gerações.
9 “When you go to war in your own country against an enemy who is oppressing you, the trumpets will sound a fanfare. Then the Lord your God will remember you and rescue you from your enemies.
9 E, quando na vossa terra sairdes a pelejar contra o inimigo, que vos aperta, também tocareis as trombetas retinindo, e perante o Senhor , vosso Deus, haverá lembrança de vós, e sereis salvos de vossos inimigos.
10 Also, on your festival days and on the first day of the month, blow the trumpets when you sacrifice your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. The trumpets will be a reminder for you in God’s presence. I am the Lord your God.”
10 Semelhantemente, no dia da vossa alegria, e nas vossas solenidades, e nos princípios dos vossos meses, também tocareis as trombetas sobre os vossos holocaustos, sobre os vossos sacrifícios pacíficos, e vos serão por lembrança perante vosso Deus. Eu sou o Senhor , vosso Deus.
11 On the twentieth day of the second month of the second year, the ⌞column of⌟ smoke left the tent of the words of God’s promise.
11 E aconteceu, no segundo ano, no segundo mês, aos vinte do mês, que a nuvem se alçou de sobre o tabernáculo da congregação.
12 So the Israelites moved from the Desert of Sinai and traveled from place to place until the ⌞column of⌟ smoke stopped in the Desert of Paran.
12 E os filhos de Israel partiram, segundo as suas jornadas do deserto do Sinai; e a nuvem parou no deserto de Parã.
13 This was the first time they moved, following the command that the Lord had given through Moses.
13 Assim, partiram pela primeira vez, segundo o dito do Senhor , pela mão de Moisés.
14 With their flag in front, the armies led by Judah’s descendants broke camp first. Nahshon, son of Amminadab, was in command.
14 Porque, primeiramente, partiu a bandeira do arraial dos filhos de Judá, segundo os seus exércitos; e sobre o seu exército estava Naassom, filho de Aminadabe.
15 Nethanel, son of Zuar, commanded the army of Issachar.
15 E sobre o exército da tribo dos filhos de Issacar, Natanael, filho de Zuar.
16 Eliab, son of Helon, commanded the army of Zebulun.
16 E sobre o exército da tribo dos filhos de Zebulom, Eliabe, filho de Helom.
17 Then the tent ⌞of meeting⌟ was taken down, and the Gershonites and Merarites, who carried it, broke camp.
17 Então, desarmaram o tabernáculo, e os filhos de Gérson e os filhos de Merari partiram, levando o tabernáculo.
18 With their flag in front, the armies led by Reuben’s descendants broke camp next. Elizur, son of Shedeur, was in command.
18 Depois, partiu a bandeira do arraial de Rúben, segundo os seus exércitos; e sobre o seu exército estava Elizur, filho de Sedeur.
19 Shelumiel, son of Zurishaddai, commanded the army of Simeon.
19 E sobre o exército da tribo dos filhos de Simeão, Selumiel, filho de Zurisadai.
20 Eliasaph, son of Deuel, commanded the army of Gad.
20 E sobre o exército da tribo dos filhos de Gade, Eliasafe, filho de Deuel.
21 Then the Kohathites, who carried the holy things, broke camp. By the time they arrived, the tent ⌞of meeting⌟ would already be set up.
21 Então, partiram os coatitas, levando o santuário; e os outros levantaram o tabernáculo, enquanto estes vinham.
22 With their flag in front, the armies led by Ephraim’s descendants broke camp next. Elisha, son of Ammihud, was in command.
22 Depois, partiu a bandeira do arraial dos filhos de Efraim, segundo os seus exércitos; e sobre o seu exército estava Elisama, filho de Amiúde.
23 Gamaliel, son of Pedahzur, commanded the army of Manasseh.
23 E sobre o exército da tribo dos filhos de Manassés, Gamaliel, filho de Pedazur.
24 Abidan, son of Gideoni, commanded the army of Benjamin.
24 E sobre o exército da tribo dos filhos de Benjamim, Abidã, filho de Gideoni.
25 As a rear guard for the whole camp, the armies led by Dan’s descendants broke camp last with their flag in front. Ahiezer, son of Ammishaddai, was in command.
25 Então, partiu a bandeira do arraial dos filhos de Dã, fechando todos os arraiais, segundo os seus exércitos; e sobre o seu exército estava Aiezer, filho de Amisadai.
26 Pagiel, son of Ochran, commanded the army of Asher.
26 E sobre o exército da tribo dos filhos de Aser, Pagiel, filho de Ocrã.
27 Ahira, son of Enan, commanded the army of Naphtali.
27 E sobre o exército da tribo dos filhos de Naftali, Aira, filho de Enã.
28 This was the order in which the Israelite armies broke camp when they went from place to place.
28 Estas eram as partidas dos filhos de Israel, segundo os seus exércitos, quando partiam.
29 Moses said to his brother-in-law Hobab, son of Reuel the Midianite, “We are going to the place the Lord promised to give us. Come with us. We will be good to you, because the Lord has promised good things to Israel.”
29 Disse, então, Moisés a Hobabe, filho de Reuel, o midianita, sogro de Moisés: Nós caminhamos para aquele lugar de que o Senhor disse: Vo-lo darei; vai conosco, e te faremos bem; porque o Senhor falou bem sobre Israel.
30 Hobab answered, “No, I won’t go. I want to go back to my own country where my relatives are.”
30 Porém ele lhe disse: Não irei; antes, irei à minha terra e à minha parentela.
31 But Moses said, “Please don’t leave us. You know where we can set up camp in the desert, and you could be our guide.
31 E ele disse: Ora, não nos deixes; porque tu sabes que nós nos alojamos no deserto; de olhos nos servirás.
32 If you come with us, we will share with you all the good things the Lord gives us.”
32 E será que, vindo tu conosco, e sucedendo o bem que o Senhor nos fizer, também nós te faremos bem.
33 So they left the mountain of the Lord and traveled for three days. The ark of the Lord’s promise went ahead of them a distance of three days’ journey to find them a place to rest.
33 Assim, partiram do monte do Senhor caminho de três dias; e a arca do concerto do Senhor caminhou diante deles caminho de três dias, para lhes buscar lugar de descanso.
34 The Lord’s ⌞column of⌟ smoke was over them by day when they moved the camp.
34 E a nuvem do Senhor ia sobre eles de dia, quando partiam do arraial.
35 Whenever the ark started to move, Moses would say,
35 Era, pois, que, partindo a arca, Moisés dizia: Levanta-te, Senhor , e dissipados sejam os teus inimigos, e fujam diante de ti os aborrecedores.
36 And whenever it stopped, he would say,
36 E, pousando ela, dizia: Volta, ó Senhor , para os muitos milhares de Israel.
