GOD'S WORD (ENGGW) vs NAA
1 Jesus called his twelve disciples and gave them authority to force evil spirits out of people and to cure every disease and sickness.
1 Tendo Jesus chamado os seus doze discípulos, deu-lhes autoridade sobre espíritos imundos para os expulsar e para curar todo tipo de doenças e enfermidades.
2 These are the names of the twelve apostles: first and foremost, Simon (who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew; James and his brother John, the sons of Zebedee;
2 Ora, os nomes dos doze apóstolos são estes: primeiro, Simão, chamado Pedro, e André, seu irmão; Tiago, filho de Zebedeu, e João, seu irmão;
3 Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James (son of Alphaeus), and Thaddaeus;
3 Filipe e Bartolomeu; Tomé e Mateus, o publicano; Tiago, filho de Alfeu, e Tadeu;
4 Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who later betrayed Jesus.
4 Simão, o Zelote, e Judas Iscariotes, que foi quem o traiu.
5 Jesus sent these twelve out with the following instructions: “Don’t go among people who are not Jewish or into any Samaritan city.
5 Jesus enviou esses doze, dando-lhes as seguintes instruções:
6 Instead, go to the lost sheep of the nation of Israel.
6 mas, de preferência, procurem as ovelhas perdidas da casa de Israel.
7 As you go, spread this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’
7 Pelo caminho, preguem que está próximo o Reino dos Céus.
8 Cure the sick, bring the dead back to life, cleanse those with skin diseases, and force demons out of people. Give these things without charging, since you received them without paying.
8 Curem enfermos, ressuscitem mortos, purifiquem leprosos, expulsem demônios. Vocês receberam de graça; portanto, deem de graça.
9 “Don’t take any gold, silver, or even copper coins in your pockets.
9 Não levem ouro, nem prata, nem cobre em seus cintos;
10 Don’t take a traveling bag for the trip, a change of clothes, sandals, or a walking stick. After all, the worker deserves to have his needs met.
10 nem sacola para o caminho, nem duas túnicas, nem sandálias, nem bordão; porque o trabalhador é digno do seu alimento.
11 “When you go into a city or village, look for people who will listen to you there. Stay with them until you leave ⌞that place⌟.
11 — E, em qualquer cidade ou aldeia em que vocês entrarem, perguntem quem nelas é digno; e fiquem ali até saírem daquele lugar.
12 When you go into a house, greet the family.
12 Ao entrarem na casa, saúdem-na.
13 If it is a family that listens to you, allow your greeting to stand. But if it is not receptive, take back your greeting.
13 Se a casa for digna, que a paz de vocês venha sobre ela; se, porém, não for digna, a paz voltará para vocês.
14 If anyone doesn’t welcome you or listen to what you say, leave that house or city, and shake its dust off your feet.
14 Se alguém não quiser recebê-los nem ouvir as palavras de vocês, ao saírem daquela casa ou daquela cidade, sacudam o pó dos pés.
15 I can guarantee this truth: Judgment day will be better for Sodom and Gomorrah than for that city.
15 Em verdade lhes digo que haverá menos rigor para Sodoma e Gomorra, no Dia do Juízo, do que para aquela cidade.
16 “I’m sending you out like sheep among wolves. So be as cunning as snakes but as innocent as doves.
16 — Eis que eu os envio como ovelhas para o meio de lobos. Portanto, sejam prudentes como as serpentes e simples como as pombas.
17 Watch out for people who will hand you over to the Jewish courts and whip you in their synagogues.
17 Tenham cuidado com os homens, porque eles os entregarão aos tribunais e os açoitarão nas suas sinagogas.
18 Because of me you will even be brought in front of governors and kings to testify to them and to everyone in the world.
18 Por minha causa vocês serão levados à presença de governadores e de reis, para lhes servir de testemunho, a eles e aos gentios.
19 When they hand you over ⌞to the authorities⌟, don’t worry about what to say or how to say it. When the time comes, you will be given what to say.
19 E, quando entregarem vocês, não se preocupem quanto a como ou o que irão falar, porque, naquela hora, lhes será concedido o que vocês dirão.
20 Indeed, you’re not the ones who will be speaking. The Spirit of your Father will be speaking through you.
20 Afinal, não são vocês que estão falando, mas o Espírito do Pai de vocês é quem fala por meio de vocês.
21 “Brother will hand over brother to death; a father will hand over his child. Children will rebel against their parents and kill them.
21 — Um irmão entregará à morte outro irmão, e o pai entregará o filho. Haverá filhos que se levantarão contra os seus pais e os matarão.
22 Everyone will hate you because you are committed to me. But the person who patiently endures to the end will be saved.
22 Todos odiarão vocês por causa do meu nome; aquele, porém, que ficar firme até o fim, esse será salvo.
23 So when they persecute you in one city, flee to another. I can guarantee this truth: Before you have gone through every city in Israel, the Son of Man will come.
23 Quando, porém, perseguirem vocês numa cidade, fujam para outra. Porque em verdade lhes digo que não terão percorrido as cidades de Israel, até que venha o Filho do Homem.
24 “A student is not better than his teacher. Nor is a slave better than his owner.
24 — O discípulo não está acima do seu mestre, nem o servo está acima do seu senhor.
25 It is enough for a student to become like his teacher and a slave like his owner. If they have called the owner of the house Beelzebul, they will certainly call the family members the same name.
25 Basta ao discípulo ser como o seu mestre, e ao servo ser como o seu senhor. Se chamaram o dono da casa de Belzebu, quanto mais os membros da sua casa!
26 So don’t be afraid of them. Nothing has been covered that will not be exposed. Whatever is secret will be made known.
26 — Portanto, não tenham medo deles. Pois não há nada encoberto que não venha a ser revelado, nem oculto que não venha a ser conhecido.
27 Tell in the daylight what I say to you in the dark. Shout from the housetops what you hear whispered.
27 O que lhes digo às escuras, repitam a plena luz; e o que é dito para vocês ao pé do ouvido, proclamem dos telhados.
28 Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Instead, fear the one who can destroy both body and soul in hell.
28 Não temam os que matam o corpo, mas não podem matar a alma; pelo contrário, temam aquele que pode fazer perecer no inferno tanto a alma como o corpo.
29 “Aren’t two sparrows sold for a penny? Not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father’s permission.
29 — Não se vendem dois pardais por uma moedinha? Entretanto, nenhum deles cairá no chão sem o consentimento do Pai de vocês.
30 Every hair on your head has been counted.
30 E, quanto a vocês, até os cabelos da cabeça de vocês estão todos contados.
31 Don’t be afraid! You are worth more than many sparrows.
31 Portanto, não temam! Vocês valem bem mais do que muitos pardais.
32 “So I will acknowledge in front of my Father in heaven that person who acknowledges me in front of others.
32 — Portanto, todo aquele que me confessar diante dos outros, também eu o confessarei diante de meu Pai, que está nos céus;
33 But I will tell my Father in heaven that I don’t know the person who tells others that he doesn’t know me.
33 mas aquele que me negar diante das pessoas, também eu o negarei diante de meu Pai, que está nos céus.
34 “Don’t think that I came to bring peace to earth. I didn’t come to bring peace but conflict.
34 — Não pensem que eu vim trazer paz à terra; não vim trazer paz, mas espada.
35 I came to turn a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
35 Pois vim causar divisão entre o homem e o seu pai; entre a filha e a sua mãe e entre a nora e a sua sogra.
36 A person’s enemies will be the members of his own family.
36 Assim, os inimigos de uma pessoa serão os da sua própria casa.
37 “The person who loves his father or mother more than me does not deserve to be my disciple. The person who loves a son or daughter more than me does not deserve to be my disciple.
37 — Quem ama o seu pai ou a sua mãe mais do que a mim não é digno de mim; quem ama o seu filho ou a sua filha mais do que a mim não é digno de mim;
38 Whoever doesn’t take up his cross and follow me doesn’t deserve to be my disciple.
38 e quem não toma a sua cruz e vem após mim não é digno de mim.
39 The person who tries to preserve his life will lose it, but the person who loses his life for me will preserve it.
39 Quem acha a sua vida a perderá; e quem perde a vida por minha causa, esse a achará.
40 “The person who welcomes you welcomes me, and the person who welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me.
40 — Quem recebe vocês é a mim que recebe; e quem recebe a mim recebe aquele que me enviou.
41 The person who welcomes a prophet as such will receive a prophet’s reward. The person who welcomes a godly person as such will receive a godly person’s reward.
41 Quem recebe um profeta, no caráter de profeta, receberá a recompensa de profeta; quem recebe um justo, no caráter de justo, receberá a recompensa de justo.
42 I can guarantee this truth: Whoever gives any of my humble followers a cup of cold water because that person is my disciple will certainly never lose his reward.”
42 E quem der de beber, ainda que seja um copo de água fria, a um destes pequeninos, por ser este meu discípulo, em verdade lhes digo que de modo nenhum perderá a sua recompensa.
