GOD'S WORD (ENGGW) vs NTLH
1 David and the army commanders appointed the sons of Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun to serve as prophets with lyres, harps, and cymbals. This is the list of the men who performed this service:
1 O rei Davi e os líderes dos levitas escolheram os seguintes grupos de famílias de levitas para dirigirem os cultos de adoração: Asafe, Hemã e Jedutum. Eles deviam anunciar as mensagens de Deus, acompanhados por música de harpas , liras e pratos. Esta é a lista dos homens escolhidos para este serviço:
2 From the sons of Asaph were Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asharelah. (They were directed by Asaph, who served as a prophet under the king’s direction.)
2 Os quatro filhos de Asafe: Zacur, José, Netanias e Asarela. Quem os dirigia era Asafe, que anunciava as mensagens de Deus quando o rei mandava.
3 From the sons of Jeduthun were Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, Mattithiah. (The six brothers were directed by their father, the prophet Jeduthun. They thanked and praised the Lord as they played lyres.)
3 Os seis filhos de Jedutum: Gedalias, Zeri, Jesaías, Simei, Hasabias e Matitias. Dirigidos pelo seu pai, eles anunciavam a mensagem de Deus, acompanhados por música de liras, e cantavam louvores e agradecimentos a Deus, o Senhor .
4 From the sons of Heman were Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.
4 Os catorze filhos de Hemã: Buquias, Matanias, Uziel, Sebuel, Jerimote, Hananias, Hanani, Eliata, Gidalti, Romanti-Ézer, Josbecasa, Maloti, Hotir e Maaziote.
5 (All of them were the sons of the king’s seer Heman. They were given to him to make him prominent, as God had promised. So God gave Heman 14 sons and 3 daughters.)
5 Deus deu a Hemã, o profeta do rei, esses catorze filhos e também três filhas, conforme havia prometido, a fim de dar poder a Hemã.
6 All these ⌞Levites⌟ sang at the Lord’s temple under the direction of their fathers Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman. They played cymbals, lyres, and harps for worship in God’s temple under the direction of the king.
6 Todos os seus filhos cantavam nos serviços religiosos do Templo, tocando pratos, liras e harpas. Quem os dirigia era o pai. Asafe, Jedutum e Hemã estavam debaixo das ordens do rei.
7 They, along with their relatives, were trained, skilled musicians for the Lord. There were 288 of them.
7 Os músicos treinados para tocar instrumentos e cantar louvores a Deus, o Senhor , eram duzentos e oitenta e oito ao todo.
8 They drew lots for their assignment of duties, the youngest as well as the oldest, the skilled ⌞musicians⌟ along with the students.
8 Para organizar os turnos de serviço, todos eles tiraram sortes, tanto os jovens como os velhos, os já treinados e os principiantes.
9 The first lot drawn chose Joseph, the son of Asaph.
