GOD'S WORD (ENGGW) vs ARIB
1 David and the army commanders appointed the sons of Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun to serve as prophets with lyres, harps, and cymbals. This is the list of the men who performed this service:
1 Também Davi juntamente com os capitães do exército, separou para o serviço alguns dos filhos de Asafe, e de Hemã, e de Jedútum para profetizarem com harpas, com alaúdes, e com címbalos. Este foi o número dos homens que fizeram a obra: segundo o seu serviço:
2 From the sons of Asaph were Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asharelah. (They were directed by Asaph, who served as a prophet under the king’s direction.)
2 dos filhos de Asafe: Zacur, José, Netanias e Asarela, filhos de Asafe, a cargo de Asafe, que profetizava sob as ordens do rei.
3 From the sons of Jeduthun were Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, Mattithiah. (The six brothers were directed by their father, the prophet Jeduthun. They thanked and praised the Lord as they played lyres.)
3 De Jedútum os filhos de Jedútun: Gedalias, e Zeri, Jesaías, Hasabias e Matitias, seis, a cargo de seu pai, Jedútum que profetizava com a harpa, louvando ao Senhor e dando-lhe graças.
4 From the sons of Heman were Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.
4 De Hemã, os filhos de Hemã: Buquias, Matanias, Uziel, Sebuel, Jerimote, Hananias, Hanâni, Eliatá, Gidálti, e Românti-Ezer, Josbecasa, Malóti, Hotir e Maaziote.
5 (All of them were the sons of the king’s seer Heman. They were given to him to make him prominent, as God had promised. So God gave Heman 14 sons and 3 daughters.)
5 Todos estes foram filhos de Hemã, o vidente do rei, segundo a promessa de Deus de exaltá-lo. Deus dera a Hemã catorze filhos e três filhas.
6 All these ⌞Levites⌟ sang at the Lord’s temple under the direction of their fathers Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman. They played cymbals, lyres, and harps for worship in God’s temple under the direction of the king.
6 Todos estes estavam sob a direção de seu pai para a música na casa do Senhor, com címbalos, alaúdes e harpas para o serviço da casa de Deus. E Asafe, Jedútun e Hemã estavam sob as ordens do rei.
7 They, along with their relatives, were trained, skilled musicians for the Lord. There were 288 of them.
7 Era o número deles, juntamente com seus irmãos instruídos em cantar ao Senhor, todos eles mestres, duzentos e oitenta e oito.
8 They drew lots for their assignment of duties, the youngest as well as the oldest, the skilled ⌞musicians⌟ along with the students.
8 E determinaram os seus cargos por sortes, todos igualmente, tanto o pequeno como o grande, assim o mestre como o discípulo.
9 The first lot drawn chose Joseph, the son of Asaph.
9 A primeira sorte, que era de Asafe, saiu a José; a segunda a Gedalias, que com seus irmãos e filhos eram doze;
10 The third chose Zaccur, his sons, and his relatives—12 men.
10 a terceira a Zacur, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;
11 The fourth chose Izri, his sons, and his relatives—12 men.
11 a quarta a Izri, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;
12 The fifth chose Nethaniah, his sons, and his relatives—12 men.
12 a quinta a Netanias, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;
13 The sixth chose Bukkiah, his sons, and his relatives—12 men.
13 a sexta a Buquias, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;
14 The seventh chose Jesarelah, his sons, and his relatives—12 men.
14 a sétima a Jesarela, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;
15 The eighth chose Jeshaiah, his sons, and his relatives—12 men.
15 a oitava a Jesaías, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;
16 The ninth chose Mattaniah, his sons, and his relatives—12 men.
16 a nona a Matanias, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;
17 The tenth chose Shimei, his sons, and his relatives—12 men.
17 a décima a Simei, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;
18 The eleventh chose Azarel, his sons, and his relatives—12 men.
18 a undécima a Azarel, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;
19 The twelfth chose Hashabiah, his sons, and his relatives—12 men.
19 a duodécima a Hasabias, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;
20 The thirteenth chose Shubael, his sons, and his relatives—12 men.
20 a décima terceira a Subael, seus filhos: e irmãos, doze;
21 The fourteenth chose Mattithiah, his sons, and his relatives—12 men.
21 a décima quarta a Matitias, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;
22 The fifteenth chose Jeremoth, his sons, and his relatives—12 men.
22 a décima quinta a Jerimote, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;
23 The sixteenth chose Hananiah, his sons, and his relatives—12 men.
23 a décima sexta a Hananias, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;
24 The seventeenth chose Joshbekashah, his sons, and his relatives—12 men.
24 a décima sétima a Josbecasa, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;
25 The eighteenth chose Hanani, his sons, and his relatives—12 men.
25 a décima oitava a Hanâni, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;
26 The nineteenth chose Mallothi, his sons, and his relatives—12 men.
26 a décima nona a Malóti, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;
27 The twentieth chose Eliathah, his sons, and his relatives—12 men.
27 a vigésima a Eliatá, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;
28 The twenty-first chose Hothir, his sons, and his relatives—12 men.
28 a vigésima primeira a Hotir, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;
29 The twenty-second chose Giddalti, his sons, and his relatives—12 men.
29 a vigésima segunda a Gidálti, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;
30 The twenty-third chose Mahazioth, his sons, and his relatives—12 men.
30 a vigésima terceira a Maaziote, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;
31 The twenty-fourth chose Romamti Ezer, his sons, and his relatives—12 men.
31 a vigésima quarta a Românti-Ezer, seus filhos e irmãos, doze.
