1 O give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; For his kindness endureth for ever!
1 Deem graças ao Senhor , porque ele é bom, porque a sua misericórdia dura para sempre.
2 Let Israel now say, His kindness endureth for ever!
2 Diga, pois, Israel: “Sim, a sua misericórdia dura para sempre.”
3 Let the house of Aaron now say, His goodness endureth for ever!
3 Diga, pois, a casa de Arão: “Sim, a sua misericórdia dura para sempre.”
4 Let all who fear the LORD say, His kindness endureth for ever!
4 Digam, pois, os que temem o “Sim, a sua misericórdia dura para sempre.”
5 I called upon the LORD in distress; He heard, and set me in a wide place.
5 Na angústia, invoquei o Senhor ; e o e me pôs a salvo.
6 The LORD is on my side, I will not fear: What can man do to me?
6 O Senhor está comigo; não temerei. O que é que alguém pode me fazer?
7 The LORD is my helper; I shall see my desire upon my enemies.

8 It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in man;

10 All the nations beset me around, But in the name of the LORD I destroyed them.

11 They beset me on every side; But in the name of the LORD I destroyed them.

12 They beset me around like bees; They were quenched like the fire of thorns, For in the name of the LORD I destroyed them.

13 Thou didst assail me with violence to bring me down! But the LORD was my support.
13 Empurraram-me violentamente para me fazer cair, porém o
14 The LORD is my glory and my song; For to him I owe my salvation.
14 O Senhor é a minha força e o meu cântico, porque ele me salvou.
15 The voice of joy and salvation is in the habitations of the righteous: “The right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly;
15 Nas tendas dos justos há voz de júbilo e de salvação; a mão do
16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted; The right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.”

17 I shall not die, but live, And declare the deeds of the LORD.
17 Não morrerei; pelo contrário, viverei e contarei as obras do
18 The LORD hath sorely chastened me, But he hath not given me over to death.
18 O Senhor me castigou severamente, mas não me entregou à morte.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness, That I may go in, and praise the LORD!
19 Abram as portas da justiça para mim; entrarei por elas e darei graças ao
20 This is the gate of the LORD, Through which the righteous enter.
20 Esta é a porta do Senhor ; por ela entrarão os justos.
21 I praise thee that thou hast heard me, And hast been my salvation.
21 Graças te dou porque me escutaste e foste a minha salvação.
22 “The stone which the builders rejected Hath become the chief corner-stone.
22 A pedra que os construtores rejeitaram, essa veio a ser a pedra angular.
23 This is the LORD'S doing; It is marvellous in our eyes!
23 Isto procede do Senhor e é maravilhoso aos nossos olhos.
24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it!
24 Este é o dia que o Senhor fez; exultemos e alegremo-nos nele.
25 Hear, O LORD! and bless us! Hear, O LORD! and send us prosperity!”
25 Oh! Salva-nos, Senhor , nós te pedimos; oh! prosperidade!
26 “Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD! We bless you from the house of the LORD.”
26 Bendito o que vem em nome do Da Casa do nós os abençoamos.
27 “Jehovah is God, he hath shone upon us: Bind the sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar!”
27 O Senhor é Deus, ele é a nossa luz; adornem a festa com ramos até as pontas do altar.
28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee; Thou art my God, and I will exalt thee!
28 Tu és o meu Deus, e eu te louvarei; tu és o meu Deus, eu te exaltarei.
