2 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635"; I was jealous|strong="H7065" for Zion|strong="H6726" with great|strong="H1419" jealousy|strong="H7068", and I was jealous|strong="H7065" for her with great|strong="H1419" fury|strong="H2534".
2 “Assim diz o S enhor dos Exércitos: Tenho muito ciúme do monte Sião e sou consumido de zelo por ele!
3 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; I am returned|strong="H7725" unto Zion|strong="H6726", and will dwell|strong="H7931" in the midst|strong="H8432" of Jerusalem|strong="H3389": and Jerusalem|strong="H3389" shall be called|strong="H7121" a city|strong="H5892" of truth|strong="H0571"; and the mountain|strong="H2022" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635" the holy|strong="H6944" mountain|strong="H2022".
3 “Assim diz o S enhor : Voltarei para o monte Sião e habitarei em Jerusalém. Então Jerusalém será chamada Cidade Fiel, e o monte do S enhor dos Exércitos será chamado Monte Santo.
4 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635"; There shall yet old men|strong="H2205" and old women|strong="H2205" dwell|strong="H3427" in the streets|strong="H7339" of Jerusalem|strong="H3389", and every man|strong="H0376" with his staff|strong="H4938" in his hand|strong="H3027" for very|strong="H7230" age|strong="H3117".
4 “Assim diz o S enhor dos Exércitos: Homens e mulheres idosos voltarão a caminhar apoiados em suas bengalas nas ruas de Jerusalém e se sentarão juntos nas praças,
5 And the streets|strong="H7339" of the city|strong="H5892" shall be full|strong="H4390" of boys|strong="H3206" and girls|strong="H3207" playing|strong="H7832" in the streets|strong="H7339" thereof.
5 e as ruas da cidade ficarão cheias de meninos e meninas brincando.
6 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635"; If it be marvellous|strong="H6381" in the eyes|strong="H5869" of the remnant|strong="H7611" of this people|strong="H5971" in these days|strong="H3117", should it also be marvellous|strong="H6381" in mine eyes|strong="H5869"? saith|strong="H5002" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635".
6 “Assim diz o S enhor dos Exércitos: No momento, isso pode lhes parecer impossível, ó remanescente do povo. Mas acaso é impossível para mim?, diz o S enhor dos Exércitos.
7 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635"; Behold, I will save|strong="H3467" my people|strong="H5971" from the east|strong="H4217" country|strong="H0776", and from the west|strong="H3996" country|strong="H0776";
7 “Assim diz o S enhor dos Exércitos: Podem ter certeza de que resgatarei meu povo dos lugares para onde foram levados no leste e no oeste.
8 And I will bring|strong="H0935" them, and they shall dwell|strong="H7931" in the midst|strong="H8432" of Jerusalem|strong="H3389": and they shall be my people|strong="H5971", and I will be their God|strong="H0430", in truth|strong="H0571" and in righteousness|strong="H6666".
8 Eu os trarei de volta para que habitem em Jerusalém. Eles serão o meu povo, e eu serei o seu Deus fiel e justo.
9 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635"; Let your hands|strong="H3027" be strong|strong="H2388", ye that hear|strong="H8085" in these days|strong="H3117" these words|strong="H1697" by the mouth|strong="H6310" of the prophets|strong="H5030", which were in the day|strong="H3117" that the foundation|strong="H3245" of the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635" was laid|strong="H3245", that the temple|strong="H1964" might be built|strong="H1129".
9 “Assim diz o S enhor dos Exércitos: Sejam fortes e completem a tarefa! Desde que lançaram os alicerces do templo do S enhor dos Exércitos, vocês têm ouvido o que os profetas dizem a respeito de terminar a obra.
10 For before|strong="H6440" these days|strong="H3117" there was|strong="H1961" no hire|strong="H7939" for man|strong="H0120", nor any hire|strong="H7939" for beast|strong="H0929"; neither was there any peace|strong="H7965" to him that went out|strong="H3318" or came in|strong="H0935" because of the affliction|strong="H6862": for I set|strong="H7971" all men|strong="H0120" every one|strong="H0376" against his neighbour|strong="H7453".
10 Antes de iniciarem os trabalhos do templo, não havia dinheiro para contratar pessoas ou pagar por animais. Nenhum viajante estava seguro, pois havia inimigos por toda parte. Eu os havia incitado uns contra os outros.
11 But now I will not be unto the residue|strong="H7611" of this people|strong="H5971" as in the former|strong="H7223" days|strong="H3117", saith|strong="H5002" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635".
11 “Agora, porém, não tratarei mais o remanescente de meu povo como o tratei no passado, diz o S enhor dos Exércitos.
12 For the seed|strong="H2233" shall be prosperous|strong="H7965"; the vine|strong="H1612" shall give|strong="H5414" her fruit|strong="H6529", and the ground|strong="H0776" shall give|strong="H5414" her increase|strong="H2981", and the heavens|strong="H8064" shall give|strong="H5414" their dew|strong="H2919"; and I will cause the remnant|strong="H7611" of this people|strong="H5971" to possess|strong="H5157" all these things.
12 Pois, agora, plantarão as sementes em paz. As videiras ficarão carregadas de uvas, a terra produzirá suas colheitas, e os céus derramarão o orvalho. Darei essas bênçãos como herança ao remanescente deste povo.
13 And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse|strong="H7045" among the heathen|strong="H1471", O house|strong="H1004" of Judah|strong="H3063", and house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478"; so will I save|strong="H3467" you, and ye shall be a blessing|strong="H1293": fear|strong="H3372" not, but let your hands|strong="H3027" be strong|strong="H2388".
13 Entre as outras nações, Judá e Israel se tornaram símbolo de nação amaldiçoada, mas não será mais assim! Agora eu os resgatarei e os transformarei em bênção. Portanto, não tenham medo. Sejam fortes e continuem a reconstruir o templo!
14 For thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635"; As I thought|strong="H2161" to punish|strong="H7489" you, when your fathers|strong="H0001" provoked me to wrath|strong="H7107", saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635", and I repented|strong="H5162" not:
14 “Pois assim diz o S enhor dos Exércitos: Eu estava decidido a castigá-los quando seus antepassados provocaram minha ira, e não voltei atrás, diz o S enhor dos Exércitos.
15 So again|strong="H7725" have I thought|strong="H2161" in these days|strong="H3117" to do well|strong="H3190" unto Jerusalem|strong="H3389" and to the house|strong="H1004" of Judah|strong="H3063": fear|strong="H3372" ye not.
15 Agora, porém, estou decidido a abençoar Jerusalém e o povo de Judá. Portanto, não tenham medo.
16 These are the things|strong="H1697" that ye shall do|strong="H6213"; Speak|strong="H1696" ye every man|strong="H0376" the truth|strong="H0571" to his neighbour|strong="H7453"; execute|strong="H8199" the judgment|strong="H4941" of truth|strong="H0571" and peace|strong="H7965" in your gates|strong="H8179":
16 Isto é o que vocês devem fazer: Digam a verdade uns aos outros. Em seus tribunais, pronunciem sentenças justas, que conduzam à paz.
17 And let none|strong="H0376" of you imagine|strong="H2803" evil|strong="H7451" in your hearts|strong="H3824" against his neighbour|strong="H7453"; and love|strong="H0157" no false|strong="H8267" oath|strong="H7621": for all these are things that I hate|strong="H8130", saith|strong="H5002" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
17 Não tramem o mal uns contra os outros. Não se agradem de fazer juramentos falsos. Odeio todas essas coisas, diz o S enhor ”.
18 And the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635" came unto me, saying|strong="H0559",
18 Esta é outra mensagem que recebi do S enhor dos Exércitos.
19 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635"; The fast|strong="H6685" of the fourth|strong="H7243" month, and the fast|strong="H6685" of the fifth|strong="H2549", and the fast|strong="H6685" of the seventh|strong="H7637", and the fast|strong="H6685" of the tenth|strong="H6224", shall be to the house|strong="H1004" of Judah|strong="H3063" joy|strong="H8342" and gladness|strong="H8057", and cheerful|strong="H2896" feasts|strong="H4150"; therefore love|strong="H0157" the truth|strong="H0571" and peace|strong="H7965".
19 “Assim diz o S enhor dos Exércitos: Os jejuns habituais que vocês têm observado no quarto mês, bem como no quinto, no sétimo e no décimo mês, chegaram ao fim. Eles se tornarão festas de alegria e celebração para o povo de Judá. Portanto, amem a verdade e a paz.
20 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635"; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come|strong="H0935" people|strong="H5971", and the inhabitants|strong="H3427" of many|strong="H7227" cities|strong="H5892":
20 “Assim diz o S enhor dos Exércitos: Pessoas de nações e cidades de todo lugar virão a Jerusalém.
21 And the inhabitants|strong="H3427" of one|strong="H0259" city shall go|strong="H1980" to another|strong="H0259", saying|strong="H0559", Let us go|strong="H3212" speedily|strong="H1980" to pray|strong="H2470" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and to seek|strong="H1245" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635": I will go|strong="H3212" also.
21 Os habitantes de uma cidade dirão aos habitantes de outra: ‘Venham conosco a Jerusalém para pedir ao S enhor que nos abençoe. Vamos adorar o S enhor dos Exércitos. Estou decidido a ir’.
22 Yea, many|strong="H7227" people|strong="H5971" and strong|strong="H6099" nations|strong="H1471" shall come|strong="H0935" to seek|strong="H1245" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635" in Jerusalem|strong="H3389", and to pray|strong="H2470" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
22 Muitos povos e nações poderosas virão a Jerusalém para buscar o S enhor dos Exércitos e pedir que ele os abençoe.
23 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635"; In those days|strong="H3117" it shall come to pass, that ten|strong="H6235" men|strong="H0582" shall take hold|strong="H2388" out of all languages|strong="H3956" of the nations|strong="H1471", even shall take hold|strong="H2388" of the skirt|strong="H3671" of him that is a Jew|strong="H0376", saying|strong="H0559", We will go|strong="H3212" with you: for we have heard|strong="H8085" that God|strong="H0430" is with you.
23 “Assim diz o S enhor dos Exércitos: Naquele dia, dez homens de nações e línguas diferentes agarrarão a barra das vestes de um judeu e dirão: ‘Deixe que o acompanhemos, pois ouvimos dizer que Deus está com vocês’”.
