2 And their south|strong="H5045" border|strong="H1366" was from the shore|strong="H7097" of the salt|strong="H4417" sea|strong="H3220", from the bay|strong="H3956" that looketh|strong="H6437" southward|strong="H5045":
3 And it went out|strong="H3318" to the south side|strong="H5045" to Maaleh-acrabbim|strong="H4610", and passed|strong="H5674" along to Zin|strong="H6790", and ascended up|strong="H5927" on the south side|strong="H5045" unto Kadesh-barnea|strong="H6947", and passed|strong="H5674" along to Hezron|strong="H2696", and went up|strong="H5927" to Adar|strong="H0146", and fetched a compass|strong="H5437" to Karkaa|strong="H7173":
4 From thence it passed|strong="H5674" toward Azmon|strong="H6111", and went out|strong="H3318" unto the river|strong="H5158" of Egypt|strong="H4714"; and the goings out|strong="H8444" of that coast|strong="H1366" were at the sea|strong="H3220": this shall be your south|strong="H5045" coast|strong="H1366".
5 And the east|strong="H6924" border|strong="H1366" was the salt|strong="H4417" sea|strong="H3220", even unto the end|strong="H7097" of Jordan|strong="H3383". And their border|strong="H1366" in the north|strong="H6828" quarter|strong="H6285" was from the bay|strong="H3956" of the sea|strong="H3220" at the uttermost part|strong="H7097" of Jordan|strong="H3383":
6 And the border|strong="H1366" went up|strong="H5927" to Beth-hogla|strong="H1031", and passed|strong="H5674" along by the north|strong="H6828" of Beth-arabah|strong="H1026"; and the border|strong="H1366" went up|strong="H5927" to the stone|strong="H0068" of Bohan|strong="H0932" the son|strong="H1121" of Reuben|strong="H7205":
7 And the border|strong="H1366" went up|strong="H5927" toward Debir|strong="H1688" from the valley|strong="H6010" of Achor|strong="H5911", and so northward|strong="H6828", looking|strong="H6437" toward Gilgal|strong="H1537", that is before|strong="H5227" the going up|strong="H4608" to Adummim|strong="H0131", which is on the south side|strong="H5045" of the river|strong="H5158": and the border|strong="H1366" passed|strong="H5674" toward the waters|strong="H4325" of En-shemesh|strong="H5885", and the goings out|strong="H8444" thereof were at En-rogel|strong="H5883":
8 And the border|strong="H1366" went up|strong="H5927" by the valley|strong="H1516" of the son|strong="H1121" of Hinnom|strong="H2011" unto the south|strong="H5045" side|strong="H3802" of the Jebusite|strong="H2983"; the same is Jerusalem|strong="H3389": and the border|strong="H1366" went up|strong="H5927" to the top|strong="H7218" of the mountain|strong="H2022" that lieth before|strong="H6440" the valley|strong="H1516" of Hinnom|strong="H2011" westward|strong="H3220", which is at the end|strong="H7097" of the valley|strong="H6010" of the giants|strong="H7497" northward|strong="H6828":
9 And the border|strong="H1366" was drawn|strong="H8388" from the top|strong="H7218" of the hill|strong="H2022" unto the fountain|strong="H4599" of the water|strong="H4325" of Nephtoah|strong="H5318", and went out|strong="H3318" to the cities|strong="H5892" of mount|strong="H2022" Ephron|strong="H6085"; and the border|strong="H1366" was drawn|strong="H8388" to Baalah|strong="H1173", which is Kirjath-jearim|strong="H7157":
10 And the border|strong="H1366" compassed|strong="H5437" from Baalah|strong="H1173" westward|strong="H3220" unto mount|strong="H2022" Seir|strong="H8165", and passed|strong="H5674" along unto the side|strong="H3802" of mount|strong="H2022" Jearim|strong="H3297", which is Chesalon|strong="H3693", on the north side|strong="H6828", and went down|strong="H3381" to Beth-shemesh|strong="H1053", and passed on|strong="H5674" to Timnah|strong="H8553":
11 And the border|strong="H1366" went out|strong="H3318" unto the side|strong="H3802" of Ekron|strong="H6138" northward|strong="H6828": and the border|strong="H1366" was drawn|strong="H8388" to Shicron|strong="H7942", and passed along|strong="H5674" to mount|strong="H2022" Baalah|strong="H1173", and went out|strong="H3318" unto Jabneel|strong="H2995"; and the goings out|strong="H8444" of the border|strong="H1366" were at the sea|strong="H3220".
12 And the west|strong="H3220" border|strong="H1366" was to the great|strong="H1419" sea|strong="H3220", and the coast|strong="H1366" thereof. This is the coast|strong="H1366" of the children|strong="H1121" of Judah|strong="H3063" round about|strong="H5439" according to their families|strong="H4940".
13 And unto Caleb|strong="H3612" the son|strong="H1121" of Jephunneh|strong="H3312" he gave|strong="H5414" a part|strong="H2506" among|strong="H8432" the children|strong="H1121" of Judah|strong="H3063", according|strong="H0413" to the commandment|strong="H6310" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* to Joshua|strong="H3091", even the city|strong="H7151" of Arba|strong="H0704" the father|strong="H0001" of Anak|strong="H6061", which city is Hebron|strong="H2275".
14 And Caleb|strong="H3612" drove|strong="H3423" thence the three|strong="H7969" sons|strong="H1121" of Anak|strong="H6061", Sheshai|strong="H8344", and Ahiman|strong="H0289", and Talmai|strong="H8526", the children|strong="H3211" of Anak|strong="H6061".
15 And he went up|strong="H5927" thence to the inhabitants|strong="H3427" of Debir|strong="H1688": and the name|strong="H8034" of Debir|strong="H1688" before|strong="H6440" was Kirjath-sepher|strong="H7158".
16 And Caleb|strong="H3612" said|strong="H0559", He that smiteth|strong="H5221" Kirjath-sepher|strong="H7158", and taketh|strong="H3920" it, to him will I give|strong="H5414" Achsah|strong="H5915" my daughter|strong="H1323" to wife|strong="H0802".
17 And Othniel|strong="H6274" the son|strong="H1121" of Kenaz|strong="H7073", the brother|strong="H0251" of Caleb|strong="H3612", took|strong="H3920" it: and he gave|strong="H5414" him Achsah|strong="H5915" his daughter|strong="H1323" to wife|strong="H0802".
18 And it came to pass, as she came|strong="H0935" unto him, that she moved|strong="H5496" him to ask|strong="H7592" of her father|strong="H0001" a field|strong="H7704": and she lighted off|strong="H6795" her ass|strong="H2543"; and Caleb|strong="H3612" said|strong="H0559" unto her, What wouldest thou?
19 Who answered|strong="H0559", Give|strong="H5414" me a blessing|strong="H1293"; for thou hast given|strong="H5414" me a south|strong="H5045" land|strong="H0776"; give|strong="H5414" me also springs|strong="H1543" of water|strong="H4325". And he gave|strong="H5414" her the upper|strong="H5942" springs|strong="H1543", and the nether|strong="H8482" springs|strong="H1543".
20 This is the inheritance|strong="H5159" of the tribe|strong="H4294" of the children|strong="H1121" of Judah|strong="H3063" according to their families|strong="H4940".

63 As for the Jebusites|strong="H2983" the inhabitants|strong="H3427" of Jerusalem|strong="H3389", the children|strong="H1121" of Judah|strong="H3063" could|strong="H3201" not drive them out|strong="H3423": but the Jebusites|strong="H2983" dwell|strong="H3427" with the children|strong="H1121" of Judah|strong="H3063" at Jerusalem|strong="H3389" unto this day|strong="H3117".
