1 And the lot|strong="H1486" of the children|strong="H1121" of Joseph|strong="H3130" fell|strong="H3318" from Jordan|strong="H3383" by Jericho|strong="H3405", unto the water|strong="H4325" of Jericho|strong="H3405" on the east|strong="H4217", to the wilderness|strong="H4057" that goeth up|strong="H5927" from Jericho|strong="H3405" throughout mount|strong="H2022" Beth-el|strong="H1008",
2 And goeth out|strong="H3318" from Beth-el|strong="H1008" to Luz|strong="H3870", and passeth along|strong="H5674" unto the borders|strong="H1366" of Archi|strong="H0757" to Ataroth|strong="H5852",
3 And goeth down|strong="H3381" westward|strong="H3220" to the coast|strong="H1366" of Japhleti|strong="H3311", unto the coast|strong="H1366" of Beth-horon|strong="H1032" the nether|strong="H8481", and to Gezer|strong="H1507": and the goings out|strong="H8444" thereof are at the sea|strong="H3220".
4 So the children|strong="H1121" of Joseph|strong="H3130", Manasseh|strong="H4519" and Ephraim|strong="H0669", took their inheritance|strong="H5157".
5 And the border|strong="H1366" of the children|strong="H1121" of Ephraim|strong="H0669" according to their families|strong="H4940" was thus: even the border|strong="H1366" of their inheritance|strong="H5159" on the east side|strong="H4217" was Ataroth-addar|strong="H5853", unto Beth-horon|strong="H1032" the upper|strong="H5945";
6 And the border|strong="H1366" went out|strong="H3318" toward the sea|strong="H3220" to Michmethah|strong="H4366" on the north side|strong="H6828"; and the border|strong="H1366" went about|strong="H5437" eastward|strong="H4217" unto Taanath-shiloh|strong="H8387", and passed|strong="H5674" by it on the east|strong="H4217" to Janohah|strong="H3239";
7 And it went down|strong="H3381" from Janohah|strong="H3239" to Ataroth|strong="H5852", and to Naarath|strong="H5292", and came|strong="H6293" to Jericho|strong="H3405", and went out|strong="H3318" at Jordan|strong="H3383".
8 The border|strong="H1366" went out|strong="H3212" from Tappuah|strong="H8599" westward|strong="H3220" unto the river|strong="H5158" Kanah|strong="H7071"; and the goings out|strong="H8444" thereof were at the sea|strong="H3220". This is the inheritance|strong="H5159" of the tribe|strong="H4294" of the children|strong="H1121" of Ephraim|strong="H0669" by their families|strong="H4940".
9 And the separate|strong="H3995" cities|strong="H5892" for the children|strong="H1121" of Ephraim|strong="H0669" were among|strong="H8432" the inheritance|strong="H5159" of the children|strong="H1121" of Manasseh|strong="H4519", all the cities|strong="H5892" with their villages|strong="H2691".
10 And they drave not out|strong="H3423" the Canaanites|strong="H3669" that dwelt|strong="H3427" in Gezer|strong="H1507": but the Canaanites|strong="H3669" dwell|strong="H3427" among|strong="H7130" the Ephraimites|strong="H0669" unto this day|strong="H3117", and serve|strong="H5647" under tribute|strong="H4522".
