Isaías 2

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

The word|strong="H1697" that Isaiah|strong="H3470" the son|strong="H1121" of Amoz|strong="H0531" saw|strong="H2372" concerning Judah|strong="H3063" and Jerusalem|strong="H3389".

And it shall come to pass in the last|strong="H0319" days|strong="H3117", that the mountain|strong="H2022" of the \+w LORD’s|strong="H3068"\+w* house|strong="H1004" shall be established|strong="H3559" in the top|strong="H7218" of the mountains|strong="H2022", and shall be exalted|strong="H5375" above the hills|strong="H1389"; and all nations|strong="H1471" shall flow|strong="H5102" unto it.

And many|strong="H7227" people|strong="H5971" shall go|strong="H1980" and say|strong="H0559", Come|strong="H3212" ye, and let us go up|strong="H5927" to the mountain|strong="H2022" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, to the house|strong="H1004" of the God|strong="H0430" of Jacob|strong="H3290"; and he will teach|strong="H3384" us of his ways|strong="H1870", and we will walk|strong="H3212" in his paths|strong="H0734": for out of Zion|strong="H6726" shall go forth|strong="H3318" the law|strong="H8451", and the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* from Jerusalem|strong="H3389".

And he shall judge|strong="H8199" among the nations|strong="H1471", and shall rebuke|strong="H3198" many|strong="H7227" people|strong="H5971": and they shall beat|strong="H3807" their swords|strong="H2719" into plowshares|strong="H0855", and their spears|strong="H2595" into pruninghooks|strong="H4211": nation|strong="H1471" shall not lift up|strong="H5375" sword|strong="H2719" against nation|strong="H1471", neither shall they learn|strong="H3925" war|strong="H4421" any more.

O house|strong="H1004" of Jacob|strong="H3290", come|strong="H3212" ye, and let us walk|strong="H3212" in the light|strong="H0216" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.

Therefore thou hast forsaken|strong="H5203" thy people|strong="H5971" the house|strong="H1004" of Jacob|strong="H3290", because they be replenished|strong="H4390" from the east|strong="H6924", and are soothsayers|strong="H6049" like the Philistines|strong="H6430", and they please|strong="H5606" themselves in the children|strong="H3206" of strangers|strong="H5237".

Their land|strong="H0776" also is full|strong="H4390" of silver|strong="H3701" and gold|strong="H2091", neither is there any end|strong="H7097" of their treasures|strong="H0214"; their land|strong="H0776" is also full|strong="H4390" of horses|strong="H5483", neither is there any end|strong="H7097" of their chariots|strong="H4818":

Their land|strong="H0776" also is full|strong="H4390" of idols|strong="H0457"; they worship|strong="H7812" the work|strong="H4639" of their own hands|strong="H3027", that which their own fingers|strong="H0676" have made|strong="H6213":

And the mean man|strong="H0120" boweth down|strong="H7817", and the great man|strong="H0376" humbleth|strong="H8213" himself: therefore forgive|strong="H5375" them not.

Enter|strong="H0935" into the rock|strong="H6697", and hide|strong="H2934" thee in the dust|strong="H6083", for|strong="H6440" fear|strong="H6343" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and for the glory|strong="H1926" of his majesty|strong="H1347".

The lofty|strong="H1365" looks|strong="H5869" of man|strong="H0120" shall be humbled|strong="H8213", and the haughtiness|strong="H7312" of men|strong="H0582" shall be bowed down|strong="H7817", and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* alone shall be exalted|strong="H7682" in that day|strong="H3117".

For the day|strong="H3117" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635" shall be upon every one that is proud|strong="H1343" and lofty|strong="H7311", and upon every one that is lifted up|strong="H5375"; and he shall be brought low|strong="H8213":

And upon all the cedars|strong="H0730" of Lebanon|strong="H3844", that are high|strong="H7311" and lifted up|strong="H5375", and upon all the oaks|strong="H0437" of Bashan|strong="H1316",

And upon all the high|strong="H7311" mountains|strong="H2022", and upon all the hills|strong="H1389" that are lifted up|strong="H5375",

And upon every high|strong="H1364" tower|strong="H4026", and upon every fenced|strong="H1219" wall|strong="H2346",

And upon all the ships|strong="H0591" of Tarshish|strong="H8659", and upon all pleasant|strong="H2532" pictures|strong="H7914".

And the loftiness|strong="H1365" of man|strong="H0120" shall be bowed down|strong="H7817", and the haughtiness|strong="H7312" of men|strong="H0582" shall be made low|strong="H8213": and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* alone shall be exalted|strong="H7682" in that day|strong="H3117".

And the idols|strong="H0457" he shall utterly|strong="H3632" abolish|strong="H2498".

And they shall go|strong="H0935" into the holes|strong="H4631" of the rocks|strong="H6697", and into the caves|strong="H4247" of the earth|strong="H6083", for|strong="H6440" fear|strong="H6343" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and for the glory|strong="H1926" of his majesty|strong="H1347", when he ariseth|strong="H6965" to shake terribly|strong="H6206" the earth|strong="H0776".

In that day|strong="H3117" a man|strong="H0120" shall cast|strong="H7993" his idols|strong="H0457" of silver|strong="H3701", and his idols|strong="H0457" of gold|strong="H2091", which they made each one for himself|strong="H6213" to worship|strong="H7812", to the moles|strong="H2661" and to the bats|strong="H5847";

To go|strong="H0935" into the clefts|strong="H5366" of the rocks|strong="H6697", and into the tops|strong="H5585" of the ragged rocks|strong="H5553", for|strong="H6440" fear|strong="H6343" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and for the glory|strong="H1926" of his majesty|strong="H1347", when he ariseth|strong="H6965" to shake terribly|strong="H6206" the earth|strong="H0776".

Cease|strong="H2308" ye from man|strong="H0120", whose breath|strong="H5397" is in his nostrils|strong="H0639": for wherein is he to be accounted of|strong="H2803"?
