1 No princípio, Deus criou os céus e a terra.
2 And the earth|strong="H0776" was|strong="H1961" without form|strong="H8414", and void|strong="H0922"; and darkness|strong="H2822" was upon the face|strong="H6440" of the deep|strong="H8415". And the Spirit|strong="H7307" of God|strong="H0430" moved|strong="H7363" upon|strong="H5921" the face|strong="H6440" of the waters|strong="H4325".
2 A terra estava informe e vazia; as trevas cobriam o abismo e o Espírito de Deus pairava sobre as águas.
3 And God|strong="H0430" said|strong="H0559", Let there be|strong="H1961" light|strong="H0216": and there was light|strong="H0216".
3 Deus disse: "Faça-se a luz!" E a luz foi feita.
4 And God|strong="H0430" saw|strong="H7200" the light|strong="H0216", that|strong="H3588" it was good|strong="H2896": and God|strong="H0430" divided|strong="H0914" the light|strong="H0216" from|strong="H0996" the darkness|strong="H2822".
4 Deus viu que a luz era boa, e separou a luz das trevas.
5 And God|strong="H0430" called|strong="H7121" the light|strong="H0216" Day|strong="H3117", and the darkness|strong="H2822" he called|strong="H7121" Night|strong="H3915". And the evening|strong="H6153" and the morning|strong="H1242" were the first|strong="H0259" day|strong="H3117".
5 Deus chamou à luz DIA, e às trevas NOITE. Sobreveio a tarde e depois a manhã: foi o primeiro dia.
6 And God|strong="H0430" said|strong="H0559", Let there be a firmament|strong="H7549" in the midst|strong="H8432" of the waters|strong="H4325", and let it divide|strong="H0914" the waters|strong="H4325" from the waters|strong="H4325".
6 Deus disse: "Faça-se um firmamento entre as águas, e separe ele umas das outras".
7 And God|strong="H0430" made|strong="H6213" the firmament|strong="H7549", and divided|strong="H0914" the waters|strong="H4325" which|strong="H0834" were under|strong="H8478" the firmament|strong="H7549" from the waters|strong="H4325" which|strong="H0834" were above|strong="H5921" the firmament|strong="H7549": and it was so|strong="H3651".
7 Deus fez o firmamento e separou as águas que estavam debaixo do firmamento daquelas que estavam por cima.
8 And God|strong="H0430" called|strong="H7121" the firmament|strong="H7549" Heaven|strong="H8064". And the evening|strong="H6153" and the morning|strong="H1242" were the second|strong="H8145" day|strong="H3117".
8 E assim se fez. Deus chamou ao firmamento CÉUS. Sobreveio a tarde e depois a manhã: foi o segundo dia.
9 And God|strong="H0430" said|strong="H0559", Let the waters|strong="H4325" under the heaven|strong="H8064" be gathered together|strong="H6960" unto|strong="H0413" one|strong="H0259" place|strong="H4725", and let the dry|strong="H3004" land appear|strong="H7200": and it was so.
9 Deus disse: "Que as águas que estão debaixo dos céus se ajuntem num mesmo lugar, e apareça o elemento árido." E assim se fez.
10 And God|strong="H0430" called|strong="H7121" the dry|strong="H3004" land Earth|strong="H0776"; and the gathering together|strong="H4723" of the waters|strong="H4325" called|strong="H7121" he Seas|strong="H3220": and God|strong="H0430" saw|strong="H7200" that it was good|strong="H2896".
10 Deus chamou ao elemento árido TERRA, e ao ajuntamento das águas MAR. E Deus viu que isso era bom.
11 And God|strong="H0430" said|strong="H0559", Let the earth|strong="H0776" bring forth|strong="H1876" grass|strong="H1877", the herb|strong="H6212" yielding|strong="H2232" seed|strong="H2233", and the fruit|strong="H6529" tree|strong="H6086" yielding|strong="H6213" fruit|strong="H6529" after his kind|strong="H4327", whose|strong="H0834" seed|strong="H2233" is in itself, upon the earth|strong="H0776": and it was so.
11 Deus disse: "Produza a terra plantas, ervas que contenham semente e árvores frutíferas que dêem fruto segundo a sua espécie e o fruto contenha a sua semente." E assim foi feito.
12 And the earth|strong="H0776" brought forth|strong="H3318" grass|strong="H1877", and herb|strong="H6212" yielding|strong="H2232" seed|strong="H2233" after his kind|strong="H4327", and the tree|strong="H6086" yielding|strong="H6213" fruit|strong="H6529", whose seed|strong="H2233" was in itself, after his kind|strong="H4327": and God|strong="H0430" saw|strong="H7200" that it was good|strong="H2896".
12 A terra produziu plantas, ervas que contêm semente segundo a sua espécie, e árvores que produzem fruto segundo a sua espécie, contendo o fruto a sua semente. E Deus viu que isso era bom.
13 And the evening|strong="H6153" and the morning|strong="H1242" were the third|strong="H7992" day|strong="H3117".
13 Sobreveio a tarde e depois a manhã: foi o terceiro dia.
14 And God|strong="H0430" said|strong="H0559", Let there be lights|strong="H3974" in the firmament|strong="H7549" of the heaven|strong="H8064" to divide|strong="H0914" the day|strong="H3117" from the night|strong="H3915"; and let them be for signs|strong="H0226", and for seasons|strong="H4150", and for days|strong="H3117", and years|strong="H8141":
14 Deus disse: "Façam-se luzeiros no firmamento dos céus para separar o dia da noite; sirvam eles de sinais e marquem o tempo, os dias e os anos,
15 And let them be for lights|strong="H3974" in the firmament|strong="H7549" of the heaven|strong="H8064" to give light|strong="H0215" upon the earth|strong="H0776": and it was so.
15 e resplandeçam no firmamento dos céus para iluminar a terra". E assim se fez.
16 And God|strong="H0430" made|strong="H6213" two|strong="H8147" great|strong="H1419" lights|strong="H3974"; the greater|strong="H1419" light|strong="H3974" to rule|strong="H4475" the day|strong="H3117", and the lesser|strong="H6996" light|strong="H3974" to rule|strong="H4475" the night|strong="H3915": he made the stars|strong="H3556" also.
16 Deus fez os dois grandes luzeiros: o maior para presidir ao dia, e o menor para presidir à noite; e fez também as estrelas.
17 And God|strong="H0430" set|strong="H5414" them in the firmament|strong="H7549" of the heaven|strong="H8064" to give light|strong="H0215" upon the earth|strong="H0776",
17 Deus colocou-os no firmamento dos céus para que iluminassem a terra,
18 And to rule|strong="H4910" over the day|strong="H3117" and over the night|strong="H3915", and to divide|strong="H0914" the light|strong="H0216" from the darkness|strong="H2822": and God|strong="H0430" saw|strong="H7200" that it was good|strong="H2896".
18 presidissem ao dia e à noite, e separassem a luz das trevas. E Deus viu que isso era bom.
19 And the evening|strong="H6153" and the morning|strong="H1242" were the fourth|strong="H7243" day|strong="H3117".
19 Sobreveio a tarde e depois a manhã: foi o quarto dia.
20 And God|strong="H0430" said|strong="H0559", Let the waters|strong="H4325" bring forth abundantly|strong="H8317" the moving creature|strong="H8318" that hath|strong="H5315" life|strong="H2416", and fowl|strong="H5775" that may fly|strong="H5774" above|strong="H5921" the earth|strong="H0776" in the open|strong="H6440" firmament|strong="H7549" of heaven|strong="H8064".
20 Deus disse: "Pululem as águas de uma multidão de seres vivos, e voem aves sobre a terra, debaixo do firmamento dos céus."
21 And God|strong="H0430" created|strong="H1254" great|strong="H1419" whales|strong="H8577", and every living|strong="H2416" creature|strong="H5315" that moveth|strong="H7430", which the waters|strong="H4325" brought forth abundantly|strong="H8317", after their kind|strong="H4327", and every winged|strong="H3671" fowl|strong="H5775" after his kind|strong="H4327": and God|strong="H0430" saw|strong="H7200" that it was good|strong="H2896".
21 Deus criou os monstros marinhos e toda a multidão de seres vivos que enchem as águas, segundo a sua espécie, e todas as aves segundo a sua espécie. E Deus viu que isso era bom.
22 And God|strong="H0430" blessed|strong="H1288" them, saying|strong="H0559", Be fruitful|strong="H6509", and multiply|strong="H7235", and fill|strong="H4390" the waters|strong="H4325" in the seas|strong="H3220", and let fowl|strong="H5775" multiply|strong="H7235" in the earth|strong="H0776".
22 E Deus os abençoou: "Frutificai, disse ele, e multiplicai-vos, e enchei as águas do mar, e que as aves se multipliquem sobre a terra."
23 And the evening|strong="H6153" and the morning|strong="H1242" were the fifth|strong="H2549" day|strong="H3117".
23 Sobreveio a tarde e depois a manhã: foi o quinto dia.
24 And God|strong="H0430" said|strong="H0559", Let the earth|strong="H0776" bring forth|strong="H3318" the living|strong="H2416" creature|strong="H5315" after his kind|strong="H4327", cattle|strong="H0929", and creeping thing|strong="H7431", and beast|strong="H2416" of the earth|strong="H0776" after his kind|strong="H4327": and it was so.
24 Deus disse: "Produza a terra seres vivos segundo a sua espécie: animais domésticos, répteis e animais selvagens, segundo a sua espécie." E assim se fez.
25 And God|strong="H0430" made|strong="H6213" the beast|strong="H2416" of the earth|strong="H0776" after his kind|strong="H4327", and cattle|strong="H0929" after their kind|strong="H4327", and every thing that creepeth|strong="H7431" upon the earth|strong="H0127" after his kind|strong="H4327": and God|strong="H0430" saw|strong="H7200" that it was good|strong="H2896".
25 Deus fez os animais selvagens segundo a sua espécie, os animais domésticos igualmente, e da mesma forma todos os animais, que se arrastam sobre a terra. E Deus viu que isso era bom.
26 And God|strong="H0430" said|strong="H0559", Let us make|strong="H6213" man|strong="H0120" in our image|strong="H6754", after our likeness|strong="H1823": and let them have dominion|strong="H7287" over the fish|strong="H1710" of the sea|strong="H3220", and over the fowl|strong="H5775" of the air|strong="H8064", and over the cattle|strong="H0929", and over all the earth|strong="H0776", and over every creeping thing|strong="H7431" that creepeth|strong="H7430" upon the earth|strong="H0776".
26 Então Deus disse: "Façamos o homem à nossa imagem e semelhança. Que ele reine sobre os peixes do mar, sobre as aves dos céus, sobre os animais domésticos e sobre toda a terra, e sobre todos os répteis que se arrastem sobre a terra."
27 So God|strong="H0430" created|strong="H1254" man|strong="H0120" in his own image|strong="H6754", in the image|strong="H6754" of God|strong="H0430" created|strong="H1254" he him; male|strong="H2145" and female|strong="H5347" created|strong="H1254" he them.
27 Deus criou o homem à sua imagem; criou-o à imagem de Deus, criou o homem e a mulher.
28 And God|strong="H0430" blessed|strong="H1288" them, and God|strong="H0430" said|strong="H0559" unto them, Be fruitful|strong="H6509", and multiply|strong="H7235", and replenish|strong="H4390" the earth|strong="H0776", and subdue it|strong="H3533": and have dominion|strong="H7287" over the fish|strong="H1710" of the sea|strong="H3220", and over the fowl|strong="H5775" of the air|strong="H8064", and over every living thing|strong="H2416" that moveth|strong="H7430" upon the earth|strong="H0776".
28 Deus os abençoou: "Frutificai, disse ele, e multiplicai-vos, enchei a terra e submetei-a. Dominai sobre os peixes do mar, sobre as aves dos céus e sobre todos os animais que se arrastam sobre a terra."
29 And God|strong="H0430" said|strong="H0559", Behold|strong="H2009", I have given|strong="H5414" you every herb|strong="H6212" bearing|strong="H2232" seed|strong="H2233", which is upon the face|strong="H6440" of all the earth|strong="H0776", and every tree|strong="H6086", in the which is the fruit|strong="H6529" of a tree|strong="H6086" yielding|strong="H2232" seed|strong="H2233"; to you it shall be|strong="H1961" for meat|strong="H0402".
29 Deus disse: "Eis que eu vos dou toda a erva que dá semente sobre a terra, e todas as árvores frutíferas que contêm em si mesmas a sua semente, para que vos sirvam de alimento.
30 And to every beast|strong="H2416" of the earth|strong="H0776", and to every fowl|strong="H5775" of the air|strong="H8064", and to every thing that creepeth|strong="H7430" upon the earth|strong="H0776", wherein there is life|strong="H2416", I have given every green|strong="H3418" herb|strong="H6212" for meat|strong="H0402": and it was so.
30 E a todos os animais da terra, a todas as aves dos céus, a tudo o que se arrasta sobre a terra, e em que haja sopro de vida, eu dou toda erva verde por alimento." E assim se fez.
31 And God|strong="H0430" saw|strong="H7200" every thing that|strong="H0834" he had made|strong="H6213", and, behold, it was very|strong="H3966" good|strong="H2896". And the evening|strong="H6153" and the morning|strong="H1242" were the sixth|strong="H8345" day|strong="H3117".
31 Deus contemplou toda a sua obra, e viu que tudo era muito bom. Sobreveio a tarde e depois a manhã: foi o sexto dia.
