1 And in the seventh|strong="H7637" year|strong="H8141" Jehoiada|strong="H3077" strengthened|strong="H2388" himself, and took|strong="H3947" the captains|strong="H8269" of hundreds|strong="H3967", Azariah|strong="H5838" the son|strong="H1121" of Jeroham|strong="H3395", and Ishmael|strong="H3458" the son|strong="H1121" of Jehohanan|strong="H3076", and Azariah|strong="H5838" the son|strong="H1121" of Obed|strong="H5744", and Maaseiah|strong="H4641" the son|strong="H1121" of Adaiah|strong="H5718", and Elishaphat|strong="H0478" the son|strong="H1121" of Zichri|strong="H2147", into covenant|strong="H1285" with him.
1 No sétimo ano, o sacerdote Joiada se animou e entrou em aliança com os capitães de cem: Azarias, filho de Jeroão, Ismael, filho de Joanã, Azarias, filho de Obede, Maaseias, filho de Adaías, e Elisafate, filho de Zicri.
2 And they went about|strong="H5437" in Judah|strong="H3063", and gathered|strong="H6908" the Levites|strong="H3881" out of all the cities|strong="H5892" of Judah|strong="H3063", and the chief|strong="H7218" of the fathers|strong="H0001" of Israel|strong="H3478", and they came|strong="H0935" to Jerusalem|strong="H3389".
2 Estes percorreram Judá, congregaram os levitas de todas as cidades de Judá e os chefes das famílias de Israel e vieram para Jerusalém.
3 And all the congregation|strong="H6951" made|strong="H3772" a covenant|strong="H1285" with the king|strong="H4428" in the house|strong="H1004" of God|strong="H0430". And he said|strong="H0559" unto them, Behold, the king’s|strong="H4428" son|strong="H1121" shall reign|strong="H4427", as the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath said|strong="H1696" of the sons|strong="H1121" of David|strong="H1732".
3 Toda essa congregação fez aliança com o rei na Casa de Deus. Então Joiada lhes disse: — Eis que o filho do rei deve reinar, como o
4 This is the thing|strong="H1697" that ye shall do|strong="H6213"; A third part|strong="H7992" of you entering|strong="H0935" on the sabbath|strong="H7676", of the priests|strong="H3548" and of the Levites|strong="H3881", shall be porters|strong="H7778" of the doors|strong="H5592";
4 Isto é o que vocês devem fazer: uma terça parte de vocês, sacerdotes e levitas, que entram de serviço no sábado, servirá de guarda dos portões do templo;
5 And a third part|strong="H7992" shall be at the king’s|strong="H4428" house|strong="H1004"; and a third part|strong="H7992" at the gate|strong="H8179" of the foundation|strong="H3247": and all the people|strong="H5971" shall be in the courts|strong="H2691" of the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
5 outra terça parte estará no palácio real; e a outra terça parte, no Portão do Fundamento; e todo o povo estará nos pátios da Casa do Senhor .
6 But let none come|strong="H0935" into the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, save the priests|strong="H3548", and they that minister|strong="H8334" of the Levites|strong="H3881"; they shall go in|strong="H0935", for they are holy|strong="H6944": but all the people|strong="H5971" shall keep|strong="H8104" the watch|strong="H4931" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
6 Que ninguém entre na Casa do Senhor , a não ser os sacerdotes e os levitas que ministram. Estes poderão entrar, porque são santos, mas todo o povo guardará o preceito do Senhor .
7 And the Levites|strong="H3881" shall compass|strong="H5362" the king|strong="H4428" round about|strong="H5439", every man|strong="H0376" with his weapons|strong="H3627" in his hand|strong="H3027"; and whosoever else cometh|strong="H0935" into the house|strong="H1004", he shall be put to death|strong="H4191": but be ye with the king|strong="H4428" when he cometh in|strong="H0935", and when he goeth out|strong="H3318".
7 Os levitas devem rodear o rei, cada um de armas na mão. E, se alguém quiser entrar no templo, que seja morto. Vocês devem acompanhar o rei aonde quer que ele for.

And Jehoiada|strong="H3077" and his sons|strong="H1121" anointed|strong="H4886" him, and said|strong="H0559", God save|strong="H2421" the king|strong="H4428".
11 Então trouxeram para fora o filho do rei, puseram a coroa na cabeça dele, entregaram-lhe o Livro do Testemunho e o constituíram rei. Joiada e seus filhos o ungiram e gritaram: — Viva o rei!

13 And she looked|strong="H7200", and, behold, the king|strong="H4428" stood|strong="H5975" at his pillar|strong="H5982" at the entering in|strong="H3996", and the princes|strong="H8269" and the trumpets|strong="H2689" by the king|strong="H4428": and all the people|strong="H5971" of the land|strong="H0776" rejoiced|strong="H8056", and sounded|strong="H8628" with trumpets|strong="H2689", also the singers|strong="H7891" with instruments|strong="H3627" of musick|strong="H7892", and such as taught|strong="H3045" to sing praise|strong="H1984". Then Athaliah|strong="H6271" rent|strong="H7167" her clothes|strong="H0899", and said|strong="H0559", Treason|strong="H7195", Treason|strong="H7195".

For the priest|strong="H3548" said|strong="H0559", Slay|strong="H4191" her not in the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
14 Porém o sacerdote Joiada trouxe para fora os capitães que comandavam as tropas e disse-lhes: — Façam-na sair por entre as fileiras e, se alguém a seguir, matem-no à espada. Porque o sacerdote tinha dito: “Não a matem na Casa do

18 Also Jehoiada|strong="H3077" appointed|strong="H7760" the offices|strong="H6486" of the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* by the hand|strong="H3027" of the priests|strong="H3548" the Levites|strong="H3881", whom David|strong="H1732" had distributed|strong="H2505" in the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, to offer|strong="H5927" the burnt offerings|strong="H5930" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, as it is written|strong="H3789" in the law|strong="H8451" of Moses|strong="H4872", with rejoicing|strong="H8057" and with singing|strong="H7892", as it was ordained by|strong="H3027" David|strong="H1732".
18 Joiada entregou a superintendência da Casa do Senhor nas mãos dos sacerdotes levitas, que Davi tinha organizado em grupos para cuidarem da Casa do Senhor , para oferecerem os holocaustos do Senhor , como está escrito na Lei de Moisés, com alegria e com canto, segundo a instituição de Davi.
19 And he set|strong="H5975" the porters|strong="H7778" at the gates|strong="H8179" of the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, that none which was unclean|strong="H2931" in any thing|strong="H1697" should enter in|strong="H0935".
19 Colocou porteiros junto aos portões da Casa do Senhor , para que nela não entrasse ninguém que de alguma forma fosse impuro.
20 And he took|strong="H3947" the captains|strong="H8269" of hundreds|strong="H3967", and the nobles|strong="H0117", and the governors|strong="H4910" of the people|strong="H5971", and all the people|strong="H5971" of the land|strong="H0776", and brought down|strong="H3381" the king|strong="H4428" from the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*: and they came|strong="H0935" through|strong="H8432" the high|strong="H5945" gate|strong="H8179" into the king’s|strong="H4428" house|strong="H1004", and set|strong="H3427" the king|strong="H4428" upon the throne|strong="H3678" of the kingdom|strong="H4467".
20 Reuniu os capitães de cem, os nobres, os governadores do povo e todo o povo da terra, e todos estes conduziram o rei da Casa do Senhor até o palácio real, passando pelo portão superior. E assentaram Joás no trono do reino.
21 And all the people|strong="H5971" of the land|strong="H0776" rejoiced|strong="H8055": and the city|strong="H5892" was quiet|strong="H8252", after that they had slain|strong="H4191" Athaliah|strong="H6271" with the sword|strong="H2719".
21 Todo o povo da terra se alegrou, e a cidade ficou tranquila, depois que mataram Atalia à espada.
