1 And the child|strong="H5288" Samuel|strong="H8050" ministered|strong="H8334" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* before|strong="H6440" Eli|strong="H5941". And the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* was precious|strong="H3368" in those days|strong="H3117"; there was no open|strong="H6555" vision|strong="H2377".
1 Entretanto, o menino Samuel servia ao Senhor perante Eli. E a palavra de Senhor era muito rara naqueles dias; as visões não eram freqüentes.
2 And it came to pass at that time|strong="H3117", when Eli|strong="H5941" was laid down|strong="H7901" in his place|strong="H4725", and his eyes|strong="H5869" began|strong="H2490" to wax dim|strong="H3544", that he could|strong="H3201" not see|strong="H7200";
2 Sucedeu naquele tempo que, estando Eli deitado no seu lugar {ora, os seus olhos começavam já a escurecer, de modo que não podia ver},
3 And ere the lamp|strong="H5216" of God|strong="H0430" went out|strong="H3518" in the temple|strong="H1964" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, where the ark|strong="H0727" of God|strong="H0430" was, and Samuel|strong="H8050" was laid down|strong="H7901" to sleep;
3 e ainda não se havendo apagado a lâmpada de Deus, e estando Samuel também deitado no templo do Senhor, onde estava a arca de Deus,
4 That the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* called|strong="H7121" Samuel|strong="H8050": and he answered|strong="H0559", Here am I.
4 o Senhor chamou: Samuel! Samuel! Ele respondeu: Eis-me aqui.
5 And he ran|strong="H7323" unto Eli|strong="H5941", and said|strong="H0559", Here am I|strong="H2009"; for thou calledst|strong="H7121" me. And he said|strong="H0559", I called|strong="H7121" not; lie down|strong="H7901" again|strong="H7725". And he went|strong="H3212" and lay down|strong="H7901".
5 E correndo a Eli, disse-lhe: Eis-me aqui, porque tu me chamaste. Mas ele disse: Eu não te chamei; torna a deitar-te. E ele foi e se deitou.
6 And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* called|strong="H7121" yet again|strong="H3254", Samuel|strong="H8050". And Samuel|strong="H8050" arose|strong="H6965" and went|strong="H3212" to Eli|strong="H5941", and said|strong="H0559", Here am I; for thou didst call|strong="H7121" me. And he answered|strong="H0559", I called|strong="H7121" not, my son|strong="H1121"; lie down|strong="H7901" again|strong="H7725".
6 Tornou o Senhor a chamar: Samuel! E Samuel se levantou, foi a Eli e disse: Eis-me aqui, porque tu me chamaste. Mas ele disse: Eu não te chamei, filho meu; torna a deitar-te.
7 Now Samuel|strong="H8050" did not yet|strong="H2962" know|strong="H3045" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, neither was the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* yet revealed|strong="H1540" unto him.
7 Ora, Samuel ainda não conhecia ao Senhor, e a palavra de Senhor ainda não lhe tinha sido revelada.
8 And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* called|strong="H7121" Samuel|strong="H8050" again|strong="H3254" the third time|strong="H7992". And he arose|strong="H6965" and went|strong="H3212" to Eli|strong="H5941", and said|strong="H0559", Here am I; for thou didst call|strong="H7121" me. And Eli|strong="H5941" perceived|strong="H0995" that the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* had called|strong="H7121" the child|strong="H5288".
8 O Senhor, pois, tornou a chamar a Samuel pela terceira vez. E ele, levantando-se, foi a Eli e disse: Eis-me aqui, porque tu me chamaste. Então entendeu Eli que o Senhor chamava o menino.
9 Therefore Eli|strong="H5941" said|strong="H0559" unto Samuel|strong="H8050", Go|strong="H3212", lie down|strong="H7901": and it shall be, if he call|strong="H7121" thee, that thou shalt say|strong="H0559", Speak|strong="H1696", \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; for thy servant|strong="H5650" heareth|strong="H8085". So Samuel|strong="H8050" went|strong="H3212" and lay down|strong="H7901" in his place|strong="H4725".
9 Pelo que Eli disse a Samuel: Vai deitar-te, e há de ser que, se te chamar, dirás: Fala, Senhor, porque o teu servo ouve. Foi, pois, Samuel e deitou-se no seu lugar.
10 And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* came|strong="H0935", and stood|strong="H3320", and called|strong="H7121" as at other times|strong="H6471", Samuel|strong="H8050", Samuel|strong="H8050". Then Samuel|strong="H8050" answered|strong="H0559", Speak|strong="H1696"; for thy servant|strong="H5650" heareth|strong="H8085".
10 Depois veio o Senhor, parou e chamou como das outras vezes: Samuel! Samuel! Ao que respondeu Samuel: Fala, porque o teu servo ouve.
11 And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559" to Samuel|strong="H8050", Behold, I will do|strong="H6213" a thing|strong="H1697" in Israel|strong="H3478", at which both|strong="H8147" the ears|strong="H0241" of every one that heareth|strong="H8085" it shall tingle|strong="H6750".
11 Então disse o Senhor a Samuel: Eis que vou fazer uma coisa em Israel, a qual fará tinir ambos os ouvidos a todo o que a ouvir.
12 In that day|strong="H3117" I will perform|strong="H6965" against Eli|strong="H5941" all things which I have spoken|strong="H1696" concerning|strong="H0413" his house|strong="H1004": when I begin|strong="H2490", I will also make an end|strong="H3615".
12 Naquele mesmo dia cumprirei contra Eli, de princípio a fim, tudo quanto tenho falado a respeito da sua casa.
13 For I have told|strong="H5046" him that I will judge|strong="H8199" his house|strong="H1004" for|strong="H5704" ever|strong="H5769" for the iniquity|strong="H5771" which he knoweth|strong="H3045"; because his sons|strong="H1121" made themselves vile|strong="H7043", and he restrained|strong="H3543" them not.
13 Porque já lhe fiz: saber que hei de julgar a sua casa para sempre, por causa da iniqüidade de que ele bem sabia, pois os seus filhos blasfemavam a Deus, e ele não os repreendeu.
14 And therefore I have sworn|strong="H7650" unto the house|strong="H1004" of Eli|strong="H5941", that the iniquity|strong="H5771" of Eli’s|strong="H5941" house|strong="H1004" shall not be purged|strong="H3722" with sacrifice|strong="H2077" nor offering|strong="H4503" for|strong="H5704" ever|strong="H5769".
14 Portanto, jurei à casa de Eli que nunca jamais será expiada a sua iniqüidade, nem com sacrifícios, nem com ofertas.
15 And Samuel|strong="H8050" lay|strong="H7901" until the morning|strong="H1242", and opened|strong="H6605" the doors|strong="H1817" of the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*. And Samuel|strong="H8050" feared|strong="H3372" to shew|strong="H5046" Eli|strong="H5941" the vision|strong="H4759".
15 Samuel ficou deitado até pela manhã, e então abriu as portas da casa do Senhor; Samuel, porém, temia relatar essa visão a Eli.
16 Then Eli|strong="H5941" called|strong="H7121" Samuel|strong="H8050", and said|strong="H0559", Samuel|strong="H8050", my son|strong="H1121". And he answered|strong="H0559", Here am I.
16 Mas chamou Eli a Samuel, e disse: Samuel, meu filho! Ao que este respondeu: Eis-me aqui.
17 And he said|strong="H0559", What is the thing|strong="H1697" that the \+nd Lord\+nd* hath said|strong="H1696" unto thee? I pray thee hide|strong="H3582" it not from me: God|strong="H0430" do so|strong="H6213" to thee, and more also|strong="H3254", if thou hide|strong="H3582" any thing|strong="H1697" from me of all the things|strong="H1697" that he said|strong="H1696" unto thee.
17 Eli perguntou-lhe: Que te falou o Senhor? peço-te que não mo encubras; assim Deus te faça, e outro tanto, se me encobrires alguma coisa de tudo o que te falou.
18 And Samuel|strong="H8050" told|strong="H5046" him every whit|strong="H1697", and hid|strong="H3582" nothing from him. And he said|strong="H0559", It is the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*: let him do|strong="H6213" what seemeth|strong="H5869" him good|strong="H2896".
18 Samuel, pois, relatou-lhe tudo, e nada lhe encobriu. Então disse Eli: Ele é o Senhor, faça o que bem parecer aos seus olhos.
19 And Samuel|strong="H8050" grew|strong="H1431", and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* was with him, and did let none of his words|strong="H1697" fall|strong="H5307" to the ground|strong="H0776".
19 Samuel crescia, e o Senhor era com ele e não deixou nenhuma de todas as suas palavras cair em terra.
20 And all Israel|strong="H3478" from Dan|strong="H1835" even to Beer-sheba|strong="H0884" knew|strong="H3045" that Samuel|strong="H8050" was established|strong="H0539" to be a prophet|strong="H5030" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
20 E todo o Israel, desde Dã até Berseba, conheceu que Samuel estava confirmado como profeta do Senhor.
21 And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* appeared|strong="H7200" again|strong="H3254" in Shiloh|strong="H7887": for the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* revealed|strong="H1540" himself to Samuel|strong="H8050" in Shiloh|strong="H7887" by the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
21 E voltou o Senhor a aparecer em Siló; porquanto o Senhor se manifestava a Samuel em Siló pela sua palavra. E chegava a palavra de Samuel a todo o Israel.
