¹ A canticle of a psalm for David himself.

¹ Canção ou Salmo de Davi. Ó Deus, meu coração está firme; eu cantarei e darei louvores, até com a minha glória.

² My heart is ready, O God, my heart is ready: I will sing, and will give praise, with my glory.

² Acordai, saltério e harpa; eu mesmo acordarei cedo.

³ Arise, my glory; arise, psaltery and harp: I will arise in the morning early.

³ Eu te louvarei, ó SENHOR, entre o povo, e cantarei louvores a ti entre as nações.

⁴ I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing unto thee among the populations.

⁴ Pois a tua misericórdia é grande sobre os céus; e a tua verdade alcança até as nuvens.

⁵ For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth even unto the clouds.

⁵ Sê tu exaltado, ó Deus, sobre os céus, e a tua glória sobre toda a terra;

⁶ Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens, and thy glory over all the earth:

⁶ para que os teus amados sejam libertos, salva com a tua direita, e responde-me.

⁷ that thy beloved may be delivered. Save with thy right hand and hear me.

⁷ Deus falou na sua santidade: Eu me regozijarei, dividirei Siquém e medirei o vale de Sucote.

⁸ God hath spoken in his holiness. I will rejoice, and I will divide Sichem and I will mete out the vale of tabernacles.

⁸ Gileade é meu; Manassés é meu; Efraim também é a força da minha cabeça; Judá é meu legislador.

⁹ Galaad is mine, and Manasses is mine and Ephraim the protection of my head. Juda is my king:

⁹ Moabe é meu vaso de lavar; sobre Edom lançarei minha sandália; sobre a Filístia triunfarei.

¹⁰ Moab the pot of my hope. Over Edom I will stretch out my shoe: the aliens are become my friends.

¹⁰ Quem me trará para a cidade forte? Quem me levará para dentro de Edom?

¹¹ Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

¹¹ Não irás tu, ó Deus, que nos rejeitaste? E não irás tu, ó Deus, adiante com os nossos exércitos?

¹² Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our armies?

¹² Dá-nos o socorro na tribulação; pois vão é o socorro do homem.

¹³ O grant us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

¹³ Através de Deus agiremos valentemente, pois ele é aquele que pisará nossos inimigos.

¹⁴ Through God we shall do mightily: and he will bring our enemies to nothing.
