1 Yesu heyaheyason ya fapaisowa bodai be dodoga ya falibadi, iyebom,
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 Galewa Aba Baꞌisa Nuꞌuna itaꞌitana doha kin natuna ya nahi na anꞌangogo ya ginauli.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Ena tau paisowa ya duidi, be sa lau safaluma ya fanuhadi bena sa laoma fafanahi anꞌangogona yai sa falibadi. Inmoho, hige ti fanuha.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Yofede, fayofayo tau abidi haisa hinaga ya fatalahaidi, iyen,
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Inmoho, ana taumana hige ti fanuha, be edi nuwatuhu sa lau watanidi. Hesa ya lau ena gabu, hesa ya lau ena moni paisowana ya ginauli,
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 na haisa mate ena tau paisowa sa tohaidi, be sa tala fafaheyayadi, habahim sa wunuidi.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Baꞌisa manana ya bala; yofede, ena hiyala dodogadi ya duidi, be tau tala sa wunuidi yo edi taon sa gabu golu.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Muli yai, habahim, ena tau paisowa ya yogaidi, be ya falibadi iyen,
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Doꞌata ite au lau be ai edaꞌeda laꞌilaꞌidi dodoga boludi ami lobahidi au falibadi be ti laoma mataꞌasi yai te.>>
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Yofede, ena tau paisowa ya duidi sa lau edaꞌeda yai be dodoga sa lobahidi, sa lau faliba napanapai, loholohodi yo heyaheyayadi, be sa laoma mataꞌasi baꞌuna yai be lumana sa lau fafamohafu.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 Baꞌisa ya lau luma ganahewana, be ana taumana ya itadi mate, esega hige fafanahi lelina i luhufi.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Baꞌisa ya fatiꞌo lau doga wa lisina, iyen,
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Kin ena tau paisowa ya falibadi, be doga wa nimana yo ahena sa audi, na sa pei lawen kamumu yai, be amainiya sa tan yo gadigadidi sa nali didinidi.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Yesu ena liba ya falafusofa, iyen,
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Falesiya sa lau, be sa oiliba, bena haba Yesu ena liba yai sa fasai buluhi.

16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Lisina yai, em nuwanuwatuhu haga u falibamai? Loma edi Baꞌisa Sisa ai lisina takesi ꞌe tole ye ya otawa?
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Yesu mate edi nuwanuwatuhu heyaheyayadi haꞌa ya sibai, yofede ya falibadi iyebom,
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Moni ami fapaisowa be takesi ami famaisa haga laꞌi au leyama be ya ita?
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Ya fatiꞌoidi iyen,
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Alinana sa bui, tiyen,
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Liba ni sa atahiyen mate sa noꞌo. Yofede sa lau afulen, be sa lau nuꞌu hesa.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Sadusi edi nuwatuhu mate dodoga sa peꞌi ibege ti mwahuli fuyo. Yofede lahaina eseꞌesegana yai sa laoma Yesu lisina, be sa fatiꞌoi.

24 Tiyen,
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Waihin hesa natu faligigi-luwaga. Ganahewadi yai, tau tuwaha ya nahi, be hige natuna, na ya peꞌi. Yofede hidadi hesa edi hwabu ya fai.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Inmoho, hige natuna. Laulauna gonogonowana fafafaihonana ya lau bee–, adi huhumau, mate edi hwabu sa fai, na hige nanatudi.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Ofiꞌofina waihin ya peꞌi.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Tau peꞌipeꞌi edi fuya obiyo fuyo lahaina yai, waihin ni haba sai lahuna? Paꞌana mahudoꞌidi haꞌa sa fai.
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Alinadi Yesu ya bui, iyebom,
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Yena tau peꞌipeꞌi sa obiyo fuyo, iti haba doha galewa aneludi be ibege ti nahi.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Mwahuli fuyo pe'i yai libana Yaubada haꞌa ya falibamiu, nuwana hige au fatili?!
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 <<Yau mate Abelaham, Isako yo Iyakobo edi Yaubada.>>
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 Yofede, dodoga boludi sa atahiyen, na ena lau faꞌata, sa noꞌoen.
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 Maihalana yai Yesu ya lau faꞌata sa atahi be Sadusi hige alinadi. Yofede Falesiya sa faꞌoigogo.
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 Ganahewadi yai, hidadi hesa, in laugagayo tau sibaina ya laoma be fatiꞌo yai te, bena Yesu ya lauꞌita, iyen.
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 Tanuwaga, laugagayo tausomo ya laꞌi wananaha?
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Ena fatiꞌo Yesu ya bui iyen,
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Itete Laugagayo bwaꞌibwaꞌina yo laꞌilaꞌi wananaha:
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Fafaluwagana doha ite:
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 Mose ena laugagayo mahudoꞌina yo Peloweta edi lau faꞌata mate, laugagayo luwaga te ya laba gogonidi.
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 Falesiya sa faꞌoigogo esega habahim, Yesu ya fatiꞌoidi, iyen,
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 <<Emi nuwatuhu mate, Fasinabo Dogana Keliso in sai? Yo in sai natuna?>>
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Ya falibadi iyen,
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 <<GUYAU ya libama egu Guyau lisina: iyen,
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 Yena bena Deiwidi ya kawa guyauwen, sidohana be ya kawa natuwen?
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 Lahaina yai, na ya lawen mate hige sai laꞌi Yesu ena fatiꞌo i bui, yo hige sai hesa i fatiꞌo bodai.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
